Just an idea:p
I have an idea for a kind of magic, it it is a bit out their. I have all the lore worked out for it. It's, give it a sec, 'mageslayer magic'. Now I'm going to edit this to show the lore.
Mageslayer magic is a holder type magic, unlike the other caster type slayer magics. It was designed by the magic counsel as a way of eliminating rouge mages around the time of Zeref. It was imbued in a set of 8 rings, and was given to a group of elite warrior mages. Each of the 8 rings is designed to battle another type of magic.
- Ring of maker: Designed to counter maker magic, allows the wearer to mirror maker magic that he has scene
- Ring of requim: Designed to counter mages with magic weapons, it allows the wearer to create a near perfect copy of the weilder's weapon
- Ring of precondition: Designed to counter mages who could see the future it shrouds the user in a sort of time mist so they can't be seen in visions and gives the user foresight of the opponent's attack.
- Ring of the elements: Designed to counter elemental magic, allows the user to for a limited time use the same element as his opponent and fight fire with fire.
- Ring of shadows: Designed to counter assassin mages, this ring allows the user shroud themselves in darkness and to see all those that are invisible.
- Ring of the celestial: Designed to counter celestial magic, it allows the user to summon a mock celestial spirit, and if they make a contract with a celestial spirit it allows them to open the gate without the key
- Ring of the takeover: Designed to combat takeover mages, it allows the user to use takeover magic with anything they have defeated. Including other mages.
- Ring of the dragonslayer: Made to defend against the mythical dragonslayers if the user of the ring consumes a dragonslayer's attack then it allows the user to use the basic wing, roar, and claw attacks of a dragonslayer.
These are of course somewhat limited in comparison to the original magic, and to gain manna he has to eat lackrama. My character will also have something like 'the collar and shackles of the condemned' which will cause him to have his powers severely limited. The rings look like silver rings with little lackrama in them.
I haven't gotten that so...
I kinda want a slayer magic, but I don't want drsgonslayer... I might go with something else, I assume cannon magic is reserved to the ones used by more then one or two characters?
Yeah sure, Tom's character is expected but I do expect polishing and expanding your cs.

"Oh, my..." Brvr said, looking up at the girl he had bumped into. She... She was being nice to him, but... Then he realized she was asking him a question. What was it she had sai? Oh right, ice pack. "Uh, no, it's fine, I've had worse injuries before." He smiled, helping himself up and blushing a tiny bit accenting his naturally roasy cheeks. That's what happened when you tried to convert pikachu physiology into human. He held out his hand to her, once he was upright, and smiled a bit. "Y-you can call me Brvr, cus that's my name. Uh... I'm sorry, I'm so awkward... Please be my friend!" He finished, blushing deeper. He was a bit awkward, from his years... Alone.
Glitch watched his little pet leave and smiled at how quickly he fouled up. After watching the initial reactions he decided to step out front of the school. Looking around he saw that pair of girls from before, still cute and completely unaprochable. Instead he smiled at the Yankee club and decided to intimate good relations with the faction. "Hello, do you mind if I hang out with you?" He asked the one who was obviously the leader.
