The Room

*Lecter raises an eyebrow and raises his pistol*
Lecter: No. Take off the helmet. The last people wearing your colors tried to kill us, and came back to life.

The Room

*Lecter, already on edge, notices the knight and draws his pistol*
Lecter: Name and business.

The Room

*Lecter walks out of his room and heads to the main room, for once he's not wearing his hat which reveals his sloppy brown hair*
*His eyes glance around the main room, as if they're searching for anything, and the Devil Hunter smells the air as well*

The Room

*Lecter wakes up on his bed, and immediately snaps his eyes open*
*Eyes adjusting to the dark, the Devil Hunter sees the silhouette of an armored figure, who's only notable features aside from its bulk are a pair of glowing eyes beneath a hood, and tendrils sprouting from its back*
Lecter: Shouldn't have come.
You shouldn't have sided with mortals, Lecter. But it's not too late to change that.
*Lecter growls and grabs his M1911 from his nightstand, but the figure already disappeared in the fraction of time that passed*
Lecter: Nowhere is safe, it looks like.
*The Devil Hunter sighs and slumps his shoulders*

The Room

*Lecter half smirks at Merg's glare, and nods to her response*
Lecter: Interesting. Most stories I've heard always had them living in trees. I will keep in mind that they are wrong. And goodnight Mergoux, rest well.
*The Devil Hunter sighs as she walks away*
Lecter: Guess hybrids aren't so rare anymore. Not that she seems proud of her heritage.
*He shrugs and steps outside to get some air*

The Room

*Lecter nods*
Lecter: I... had a feeling you weren't quite human. But the specifics, I could never tell.
*Lecter leans forwards slightly*
Lecter: If you don't mind me asking, do these Elves... do they live in trees? Like the old stories and fantasies say?

The Room

*Lecter shrugs*
Lecter: Devils. It's my title. And I'm sure that it can be explained.
*The Devil Hunter smiles slightly*
Lecter: There's no reason to hide it, if that's what you're worried about. Better to say it now, than to worry on it being discovered.

The Room

*Lecter sighs and finishes his glass*
Lecter: I know the feeling. I have my own... prey, as you put it.
*raises an eyebrow and gives Merg a sidelong glance*
Lecter: You hardly look fifty, let alone over it. If you don't mind me asking, what's your heritage? No Devils, but humans don't age so slowly.

The Room

*Lecter nods and briefly examines the drink before taking a swig*
Lecter: Sounds like you did the world a favor. But if he is around here, then I would be willing to see him destroyed.

The Room

*Lecter nods*
Lecter: I blame them more than anyone. But I can still improve my skills, to prevent unnecessary casualties. Now, what can you tell me about that Devil?
