The Room

*Lecter nods*
Lecter: I saw him. What do you want with him?
*notices Mergoux leaving, but doesn't react as he thinks it's better for her to be away from the newcomers*

The Room

*Lecter notices the figures and frowns*
Lecter: Who are You?
*The Devil Hunter steps forwards, trying to get them to focus on himself instead of Karma or Mergoux*
Lecter: (Please don't shoot me for not looking human...)

I'd suspect that they are more mortals. Ones that hide behind armor.

The Room

*Karma smirks at Mergoux, pleased to see that she's stopped talking*
Yes, Lecter. He went that way.
*The familiar nods her head in the direction that Tiaz hobbled off to*
If I hadn't saved the mortal, I could have followed him. Kindness is a curse.

The Room

*A cold dread passes through Mergoux as she grabs Karma, and the Devil blows a breath of smoke into Mergoux's face*
I will tell you nothing until you know your place.

*Lecter, now with his Devil Trigger active, looks between Mergoux and Karma*
Lecter: Both of you drop it. Mergoux, back down. Karma, can you show us the way Tiaz went?

The Room

*Karma doesn't flinch as Mergoux comes closer*
A mortal daring to speak to me like that. I should put you in your place.
*Karma flicks her wrist at Mergoux, sending a ball of smoke flying at her chest. Before it can come near her, a gray blur moves in front and parries the blow with his arm blade*
Lecter: Karma, enough.

The Room

*Karma frowns at Mergoux, and the smoke begins to thicken around her feet*
You do not make demands from me, girl. Ask next time, and I might be more inclined to say. Make another demand, and I will trim your ears.

The Room

*Karma frowns at Mergoux and raises a hand up to silence her*
Calm yourself. I saw someone with a purple cloak, called himself Tiaz. Now I suggest you treat me with respect, mortal. I find your fanaticism to be unappealing.

The Room

*Karma smiles at Mergoux, something that goes against her morbid appearance*
I am more than some shape shifter, girl. And yes, I do know what happened here. That rainbow skinned mortal was attacked by two cat people. Crude beasts, they wanted her as a slave. If it wasn't for me, she would be as good as dead.

The Room

*Karma just turns to face Lecter, not bothering to respond to Merg as she's not being respectful*
*Lecter just sighs*
Lecter: This is Karma. Something must've happened, if she needed to change.

The Room

*Lecter nods*
Lecter: She may not be able to answer it.
*The Devil Hunter pulls his hand out of his coat, happy to note that it's no longer demonic, and he promptly bites the webbing between his thumb and index finger, just enough to draw blood*
Lecter: Karma, I need you.

*Karma's eyes widen slightly as she's called on, and with a wave of her hand Iris is surrounded by smoke. Another wave of her hand sends Iris, now entombed within the smoke, floating towards the Room*
*Karma turns to a wisp of fog, and reforms next to Mergoux and Lecter, appearing theatrically out of the ground*
