The Room

*The burrows are unnaturally large, being able to allow a child to crawl through them*
*If Dallas listened carefully, he could hear hissing and shuffling, which abruptly ends when he gets close enough to the burrows*

The Room

*Lecter rolls backwards to avoid the attacks and dashes forwards, slashing his blade at one of the arms while firing the last of his bullets in his magazine*

*The laser rips through Karma's form as she turns to smoke, disappearing in the air*
Fatal mistake.
*The familiar reappears next to the floating figure and swipes her talons at it*

*outside of the Room, several burrows have sprouted up*

The Room

*Lecter raises his blade to block the smash and growls as his legs buckle beneath him*
Lecter: Dak'ava? Or something else?

*Karma hisses from where she stands*
Just kill it, Lecter.
*She turns to look at the silent figure and tilts her head*

The Room

*Lecter ducks and slashes at it's legs, aiming to cripple the creature*
Lecter: Size won't save you.

The Room

*Lecter turns to face the third of the attacking critters and slashes at it's throat*
Lecter: Come on, then.

*Karma's smoke prevents Halia from moving much, as it acts like a cocoon*
You are safer here, mortal.

The Room

*Lecter does his best to block the blows that he can't avoid, and occasionally uses his pistol as well*
*If Lecter gets hit, his body reacts immediately to the virus and tries to kill it off rapidly*
Lecter: Damned gigglers.

The Room

*Lecter fires at the creatures, and unless they're moving at superhuman speeds, they would be accurate*
Lecter: Always did prefer blades.
*The Devil Hunter is a blur of his own as he moves forwards, trying to take the creatures on before they can reach Merg and Halia*

*Karma stays back, keeping any eye out for any that try to bypass Lecter*

The Room

*Lecter goes to respond go Halia's earlier comment, but stops as the creatures reveal themselves*
*The Devil Hunter smells the air, trying to deduce if they're Devils or not*
Lecter: Karma, protect them.
*His Devil Trigger activates, and he draws his pistol*
Lecter: Leave now, and you won't be harmed. Only warning.

*Karma hisses and smoke starts to form around her, hanging by her feet like fog*

The Room

*Lecter nods slightly*
Lecter: I'm not going to argue that. I don't want to, to begin with. But I am going to help you still, even just to prevent you from being killed in the process.
*He turns to face Halia*
Lecter: Tiaz grasps at powers that my prey invented. He may be stronger than a Mephisto, or even one of the Dagons perhaps, but he is a mortal. He just needs a reminder of that fact.

*Karma pauses as she hears the giggling*
We are being followed.

The Room

*Lecter nods once*
Lecter: But not a Devil. That is... important to know.
*He sighs yet again, and readjusts his hat*
Lecter: Then we'll have to be the first ones to show him Hell.
