The Room

*Lecter glances at the Major before returning his attention to Xan*
Lecter: Hope. Coming from someone that destroyed their world with nukes.
*He sighs*
Lecter: Name's Lecter. And you're better off ignoring Togan for now. He's not here to stay.

The Room

*Lecter shakes his head and moves between the Major and Xan*
Lecter: She's more than a bird. And he called you a civilian. Someone that isn't part of an armed force. Not an insult, just a state of being.

The Room

*Lecter shakes his head*
Lecter: I wasn't the one that gutted him. You can thank my bird for that.
*He glances at the Major*
Lwcter: She might be a civilian, but she's not human. Appearance can't hide that from me.

The Room

*Lecter hesitates as he smells Xan, and tilts his head slightly*
Lecter: Step out from behind the couch, before I ruin it by putting a bullet through it.

The Room

*Karma would smirk if she could*
More than that, even with the mortal blood that taints his form.

*Lecter nods once*
Lecter: Then they'll both have a taste of fire before they see Hell.
*He turns to regard Togan as he gets spit at, and he kneels down to be eye level with Togan*
Lecter: You would have been better off as a corpse. Resurrection is not for your kind.

The Room

*Karma continues to stare at Togan*
Wrong. Your life will be much easier if you learn that. Otherwise, you'll learn to hate me more than anything else.

*Lecter glances back at Togan*
Lecter: So he pledged himself to a Devil. An odd religion, to encourage this. Once Tiaz is gone, he'll be next.

The Room

*Karma hops off of Lecter and rests on the arm of the sofa*
The girl dies by my hand. But if she were to lose her tongue...
*She stares directly into Togan's eyes, her demonic intelligence visible*
You will learn your manners. I do not enjoy being spited.

*Lecter sighs*
Lecter: Is he bound by magic, or honor? Either way, I don't enjoy this. He's better off dead.

The Room

*Lecter sighs and reloads his pistol*
Lecter: The last thing that Karma needs is a servant. I fought to stop that.

*Karma tilts her head slightly, and slips into Togan's mind*
Ignore The Devil Hunter. You're mine now.

The Room

*Lecter looks down at Togan and raises his pistol at the werelord's head*
Lecter: You're getting rusty, Karma.
*The Devil Hunter pulls the trigger, and turns to regard his familiar*
Lecter: A day to recover, I'd say.
*He turns to look at Halia, and shakes his head*
Lecter: The crippled king won't reach you here. If he sends his minions, they'll be dealt with. Now, you and Mergoux are probably hungry. Both have been through a lot.

The Room

*Karma makes an inhuman hiss as she rips her claws into Togan's throat*
*The familiar fades into smoke and reforms, as a hawk, on Lecter's shoulder. One wing is shattered and bloody, and blood streaks her feathers*

*Lecter looks at Jillian and shakes his head*
Lecter: A shaman named Tiaz sent this thing at us. Karma here already killed him once, and his sister.
