*Lecter nods to the Doctor*
Lecter: I don't know much about the storm, besides that it needs to be stopped. And there's plenty of food, help yourself.
*He glances at the Major, and growls slightly*
Lecter: I didn't mention angels, that would be too fortunate. But Hell, and all of its creatures, are too real. I'm a Devil Hunter for a reason, and a Damned successful one at that.

*Lecter glances at the Major and the doctor*
Lecter: Your old allegiances don't matter here. Hell itself and a storm from a different reality are trying to kill us. After that, you can figure out who's the actual army.

Name: -Be'lak

Age: Undetermined, but confirmed to be ancient

Fandom: Devil May Cry

Skills: Manipulation, regeneration, practical immortality, enhanced senses and strength, mastery of elements, creation, Dark Arts, and more.

Fears: N/A

Likes: Hell, Devils, power, loyalty, and greed.

Hates: Mortals, the Human World, weakmindedness, and usurper.

Description: Be'lak is a Devil of many forms, though prefers to appear as an armored humanoid figure with clawed hands and tendrils sprouting from his back. His actual appearance is unknown to mortals, as none have survived the encounter.

Background: Be'lak is a former servant of the Demon King Mundus, before Mundus was slain by Dante. Be'lak later carved out his own Devil empire in Hell, and seeks to merge the Human World with Hell, with Humanity being a source of slavery and entertainment for his Coven.

Be'lak also seeks to turn Lecter's loyalty to his own side, as he is of the same bloodline. His first attempt to capture his son ended with Lecter's mother being murdered, and caused Lecter himself to flee across the country.

Lecter's presence in the Room caught Be'lak's attention, and the Devil has already made attempts to harm the Room while claiming his son.

*Be'lak's laugh turns to a snarl as the flames hit him, and his tendrils move to block the hit while he's engulfed. Though it's probably not visible while the blast is still going, the tendrils disintegrate, and Be'lak is reduced to a hooded and blackened skeleton before the attack ends*
You are no Devil.
*Be'lak laughs as his form begins to regenerate, with new tendrils sprouting out of his back while his armor returns. The new tendrils both reach out for Tiaz with surprising speed, seeking to impale him*

*Meanwhile, three harpy-esque creatures (Puia) fly towards the pair*

*Lecter nods along to John's words*
Lecter: He was willing to fight against the creatures of Hell with us.
*He then turns to face Vaseraga, and his voice shifts to being gruff and serious*
Lecter: But if you want to execute her for theft, then I can't see you as better than a Devil. It was a book she stole, not a life.
*The Devil Hunter also keeps an eye on Xan, ready to interfere if she attacks again, because she's acting hysterical, and he doesn't know how she'll act*
In The Room 7 yrs ago Forum: Casual Roleplay
*Lecter sighs, and keeps his weapons ready*
Lecter: Vaseraga, you could have mentioned a thief and we could have helped. Shedding blood in here for potentially no good reason is... Not a good idea.

*Be'lak chuckles as the tree ignites into flames, and still tries to crush Tiaz in their ruined state*
You don't deserve my best, Tiaz. That would kill everyone here, and I do not want that. There is no fun in that.
*The eyes of the necklace in Be'lak's hand begin to glow slightly, and Be'lak smirks underneath his hood*

Name: -Lecter

Devil Hunter

Age: -Roughly over a hundred years old, if not more

Fandom: -Devil May Cry

Skills: -Lecter has a mastery over firearms and swordsmanship.

-The half Devil's senses are above the average human's, particularly his sense of smell. Lecter possesses the ability to tell whether an individual is human or Devil, simply because of how their scent is.

-Having demonic heritage, the Devil Hunter is capable of activating a Devil Trigger, an ability which enhances his regenerative capabilities, reflexes, senses, and strength. It also shifts his form to that of something more devilish, reflecting his true bloodline.

Fears: -The Human World being consumed by the Demon World (Hell).

- His demonic heritage winning against his mortal, human nature.

Likes: Cigarettes, dusters, warm beds, pistols, and Karma (His former familiar and half sibling, now deceased).

Hates: His father (Be'lak), failing those he cares for, Devils who seek to destroy humanity, and Hell.

Description: Lecter is a man of action, constantly searching for a new Devil that needs to be put down. He does not shy away from fighting other species, yet he would prefer to kill the creatures of Hell before any others. The Devil Hunter is 6' tall, and well built. Scars from his years of combat mark his body, yet most are hidden beneath his gray duster and hat. Beneath his well worn hat is a head of messy, brown hair and a pair of gray eyes.

Background: Lecter had never met his father, having only known his mother and the apartment where he was raised. She refused to ever mention Lecter's father, simply becoming upset and in need of a drink when he was brought up. Lecter had learned quickly to never mention the man who sired him.

At the age of twelve did Lecter find a hint of who his father was. A pair of cloaked, insectlike creatures called Mephistos stalked through his apartment, killing Lecter's mother in the process. Blind with fear and outrage, the boy unlocked something within himself. His skin turned to a metallic gray, and his form shifted to that of a monster. His Devil Trigger had activated. Using his newfound talents, the boy managed to defend against the Mephistos at the cost of his first scars.

His Devil Trigger gathered news from an agency of Devil Hunters, and they quickly took the boy in as their own. Honing his talents and ensuring he wouldn't be a threat to humanity, Lecter eventually set out to find out more of who he was, and where he came from.

His search led him to the Devil Be'lak, a servant of the former King of Hell, Mundus, before Mundus was slain. Be'lak was actually Lecter's father, who seeks to claim the Human World as his own, or to watch it burn in the process. The Devil has attempted to turn Lecter to his cause, yet all attempts have been unsuccessful. Instead, the Devil Hunter has spent his life trying to slay his father, willing to spend his life away in the process.

The Devil Hunter's journeys lead him to Hell, and he accidentally stumbled upon the Room when returning from his father's homelands.

Items of Note: -Lecter carries an M1911, modified by his own hand. It is designed to kill Devils, yet still works against mortals.

-Twin arm blades, infused with Lecter's blood to increase their strength.

-Karma, a blade reminiscent of a Dao. It is all that remains of his familiar, who shifted into the weapon in her last moments of life.

*Lecter's head snaps towards the fight and he draws his pistol while activating his Devil Trigger*
Lecter: Damnit Vaseraga, back down!
*He sprints after him, not yet sure if Vaseraga is the villain here, but he's got a pretty good feeling about it*

*Lecter nods and walks over to the Scarecrow. He just holsters his pistol after smelling the air, and looks down at the Devil*
Lecter: She did good. But someone wasn't as fortunate.
*He nods to the blood coating it's blade, and sighs*
Lecter: Be careful for others like it. Can't say I've ever seen one by itself. Anything else show up while I was gone?
In The Room 7 yrs ago Forum: Casual Roleplay
*Lecter looks back at John*
Lecter: A Scarecrow got here, it looks like. Anything we saw in the forest could have killed this.
