The Room

*Lecter nods*
Lecter: I'll attend. A chance to bury a comrade isn't common.
*He draws another cigarette and lights it, before brushing himself off*
Lecter: When is it? Immediately?

The Room

*Lecter doesn't flinch at Thoth's appearance, but smells the air when he arrives. The Devil Hunter is relieved that he isn't a Devil, but still doesn't trust him*
Lecter: He died fighting against Otherworlders. I didn't get to know him very well, but he was an ally at the very least.

The Room

*Lecter nods*
Lecter: Sure as Hell don't have another way around it.

*Elewynn frowns*
Elewynn: I never met him. I haven't the slightest clue who would call him a friend.

*Finnick steps outside and whistles at Thoth and Elewynn*
Finnick: There you are. I didn't even need to help, some tall guy blew it up before I could even start a fire. Not that fire would do much, it had metal on it. But you get the point.

The Room

*Lecter just listens in on the conversation, but makes himself content with cleaning the kitchen*
Lecter: Don't know about any villages. We're on our own out here.

*Finnick has headed off to find Elewynn, wondering why she's taking so long*

*Elewynn isn't afraid of Thoth, despite his size, as Finnick has shown her more horrifying things than what seems to be an overly tall mage. She is slightly cautious, however, but doesn't show it*
Elewynn: I never had the chance to meet him. He was... like this when I arrived.
*The Elf avoids saying 'dead' for Jilial's sake*

The Room

*Lecter shrugs stiffly, and goes back to cleaning*
Lecter: Doesn't change anything. I'm still hunting Be'lak, and he will die.

*Elewynn frowns at Thoth*
Elewynn: He's... gone. I don't know exactly how, I wasn't there for it. But she wants burial rights for him.

The Room

*Lecter shakes his head*
Lecter: Tainted? No. Not anymore than I always have been. You need a more... physical approach to corrupt someone like me. What it means is that Be'lak isn't done here, or that Devils are trying to make more moves in the Human World. Gods know how many enemies I've made in my time.
*Lecter nods to Xan*
Lecter: Was going to execute her before the attack. Must've bled to death while everyone was busy.

The Room

*Lecter nods at her question, and starts making a pile of rubble out of the un-salvageable stuff*
Lecter: Yeah. There's a good chance it was a Devil.
*The Devil Hunter notices Taboo's corpse, and at least is comforted by the fact that she died*

*Elewynn heads back out to Jilial and kneels down next to her*
Elewynn: Here. Is it a rune?

The Room

*Lecter nods, then sighs as he starts trying to help clean up, but he's moving stiffly as he does so*
Lecter: Couple days, maybe. Could be less, if I don't get stabbed again in the meantime. Haven't pushed my healing like this in awhile.
*His face darkens slightly at Sasha's second question*
Lecter: I think, I think that something, or someone, tried taking advantage of me when I was dealing with the first explosion.

*Elewynn grabs the stone and immediately leaves the room, not wanting to invade Jilial's privacy more than she needs to*

The Room

*Lecter's eyes follow Sasha's gaze and, and he sighs*
Lecter: I should've been able to help him. He didn't deserve this.
*He shakes his head*
Lecter: Not that reminiscing the fact helps him at all.

*Elewynn nods and heads inside the Room, following Jilial's directions to her room*

The Room

*Lecter nods*
Lecter: Won't be fighting Devils well for awhile. But I'll live. What happened? Who killed it?

*Elewynn nods slowly*
Elewynn: I don't have the authority for that. But... would someone here be able?
