The Officer had little time to extrapolate information from the rumors of sailors and makeshift charts made by them to accurately answer of the captains questions, butt they did their best. "We certainly have the manpower, Captain! It's not right known exactly where natives settle or hide out, not much surveyin' of the land was done, everythin' was done out at sea, safe from the ambushes on the coast! But we both know natives aren't be well organized as we are! But what it will be like depends on where you want us to start scouting, unless you want us to hit a spot hard and clear it fast. Most of the coast has dense forest behind it, butt some areas might just have vegetation. But as always, we are at risk of being attacked or ambushed by Natives. The closer we are to one of their homes, the more likely and how often they'll hit."

"Right, then! Let's take it away from here! First, we have to find the best place to build a settlement. I believe this spot on the map," he points to the small section of land seeming most ideal for settlement, "right here. Then, we'll scout out the area, and hit any gatherings of natives around it hard and fast! They'll never know what's coming! Lastly, we make sure to quickly build a little fortified position. They'll surely be a bit miffed their friends are dead, and will want revenge. Make sure not to spare any women or children. We don't want anyone coming back and making life difficult for us, would we?"

He grins a mischievous grin, and lowers his spyglass, returning to his cabin to gather his weapons. The first mate instructs the crew to do the same.

With that, Captain Badoop
"Land in sight!"

Captain Flooby Badoop had heard his first mate loud and clear. He had, in fact, seen the land before he did, through his spyglass. Peering through the lens of it, he saw it drifting ever closer into his vision - a large landmass, followed by several smaller islands. The trees were unlike anything he'd seen - their tips were spiked, and their bark was grooved. Strange fruits seem to hang from them.

He'd, of course, heard tales of the tropics from sailors. But nothing could have prepared him for the natural beauty that he saw in this moment. He was in awe of the natural splendor of it all. Such an unspoiled, perfect land, like a little Garden of Eden, untouched by man. What strange creatures awaited them there? Had others settled this land? Were there already natives living there?

And how could he mess it all up?

There was enough supplies in the hull of their fine carrack to support a little settlement. He'd 'convinced' a number of n'er-do-wells, whores, and druken sailors to go with him to this strange new land. They were to be his Christmas elves in this tropical pole - making whatever he needed to cause mayhem.

According to his map, they would be landing on the easternmost part of the largest isle. As the Captain stood on the bow, he pulled out his map, and did calculations in his head. "First mate!" he called, "will are landing proceed aplomb? What do you suppose the terrain will be like? And might you think there be any natives nearby that might need dealing with?"
Name: Norman Caspian Crediton II

Alias/Nickname: Captain Flooby Badoop

Group Name: The Merry Madmen

Culture: English

Flag/Symbol:

Personal Ship: The Drunken Donkey, Carrack

Reputation: An absolute hedonist, irrational decisions, more concerned with having fun antics or jokes than the value of human life, sees the new world as his personal playground, his own men are terrified of upsetting his capricious nature.

Wealth: Uncountable, though most of it lies in a cave not even he knows the location of.

Background Type: Colonial Aristocrat

Background:

Born of ample means from a well-to-do family of Cornwall barons, the young man was clearly an oddity from birth. He would ride the hunting hounds as a child, then hunt them instead of foxes while they were out. 'It was more fun, since they didn't see it coming,' he would say.

This sort of behavior continued well into adolescence, where he gained a reputation in his schooling as impossible to control by teachers. His peers were equally fascinated and annoyed by his constant antics, which often bridged over into outright acts of cruelty. His parents had given up - there was no disciplining the boy. If the teachers were to employ the rod, he would grab it from them, and smack himself twice as hard.

At last, he was expelled. Instead of returning home, he ended up on the next carriage to London, on a whim. After an escapade involving a procession of goats, and the winning cheese in a farmer's competition, a ship from the Royal Navy was taken for a joy ride. The rest was history.

Organization Name: The Merry Madmen

Reputation: Capricious sociopaths, hedonists, and pranksters.

Initial Contact Behavior: Aggressive

Typical Alignment: Escaped convicts, lunatic drunkards, navy deserters, and a parrot that's been taught to swear like a sailor.

Backstory: First Mate Jim "Jimminy Cricket' was a slave trader who raided a territory under the protection of the royal navy. Only a chance encounter during a stormy night on an ocean was he able to be rescued. He's a sneaky, conniving fiend, but the voice of reason to Captain Badoop's craziness.

Fleet: The Drunken Donkey, an able carrack crewed by fifty men and a parrot.
The John B., a sloop crewed by a dozen men, armed with cannons
The Mad Lady, another sloop crewed by a dozen men, without cannons

Controlled Establishments:
Fort Frolic, a town with a small fort on the easternmost coast

Hey floobs, for me your sheet looks good, except the Personal Ship. I suppose that is something I need to clarify on. Your personal ship consists of one of the ships from the Background setting. So as the Colonial Aristocrat, you'd take the Carrack or one of the Sloops as your personal ship. The Organization sheet will allow you to customize these ships later on.

@ArenaSnow

Alrighty, if you have any suggestions just let me know.

@Heyitsjiwon

You still in this? Take a look at Floobs sheet, if you will

Edited.

Interested, I'm curious to see where this goes and how it works out.
Putting in my interest, waiting to see if this garners any more.
I'll bite, Theo, you flaky bastard you.
So this looks pretty d4nk, but what exactly are we going to be doing in this world?
Well, if this is donezos, I'm peacing out. I abstain from voting, as it is not Flooby enough for the Great Sanguine Empire.

Good day, sirs!
