Both Nala and Emi had been glaring at the rich girl, although Kaz didn't really care about her. She was just some spoiled brat spouting garbage because she thought she was entitled to the world. Kaz led the two girls over to the booth that Wan Lo had reserved for them. It was tucked away in a quiet corner where no one would bother them, the perfect place for Nala and Emi right now. They would have probably caused a scene if Kaz hadn't pulled them away. Kaz decided it was safer to sit next to Wan Lo so that neither Emi or Nala could claim favoritism.

Kaz: "Who was that rich girl anyway?"
Emi: "You mean you don't remember?"
Nala: "Her name is Ty-Lee, you faced off against her in the sudden death match today."
Wan Lo: "She's the leader of the Badger Moles and the daughter of a Councilman. The kind of person who can make a lot of trouble if you're not careful."
Kaz: "She should use some of her father's money to buy some manners..."
Wan Lo: "Why don't we just enjoy our victory dinner? I bet you've never eaten this good before."

The waitress came by to collect their orders. Wan Lo ordered some kind of roasted bird Kaz had never heard of and decided to have the same. Emi had opted for some kind of noodle dish while Nala decided on an exotic sounding stew which was apparently common in the Water Tribes. Emi and Nala were both more than happy to share with their new teammate. Every bite seemed to be carefully crafted by the chefs and Kaz had never experienced such complex flavors. The best part, however, was the wine. They had a special wine, made from rice, that was imported from the Fire Nation. It went down smooth and hit you slowly enough to enjoy it. Emi, who was only 16, was too young to drink alcohols and Wan Lo didn't care for it so Kaz shared with Nala who practically beamed at being able to do something that Emi couldn't.

As they wrapped up the meal and the waitress came to collect the bill Kaz noticed that Nala was fairly blitzed. Clearly she couldn't handle her wine since they had only shared a single pint between the two of them. Kaz, while pleasantly buzzed, was still mostly in control of his faculties. Wan Lo explained that he would be taking Emi home in a Satomobile since she lived quite far away and they headed out of the restaurant without incident. When Nala tried to get up she almost immediately fell over and Kaz had to catch her. A faint apology escaped her lips as she leaned on him for support. Kaz decided he may as well help her get home, as if he even had a choice in the matter. He couldn't simply leave her there could he? So they left the restaurant together and started to head towards where Kaz assumed was her home.

Kaz: "You know I don't actually know where you live."
Nala: "That's ffffffunny.... neither do I."
Kaz: "Can't get you home if I don't know where it is."
Nala: "Let'sssss go toooo your place."
Kaz: "I don't really have one. I've been living in an unused part of the Pro-Bending Arena."
Nala: "oh...... fine then.... myyyy place. Sleeping Giant Apartmentssssss..... 12B."
Kaz: "That I can do."
Sorry I haven't been on much. I'll get to this tomorrow probably.
It's been a couple days. How goes things?
This is what I did on my lunch break.

Main Engineering Floor Plan:

I think you probably just need to read to yourself while you're typing it so you can see how natural it sounds. I'm not going to quit just for that though.
This whole time I thought we were meeting in a hangar bay on the Vigilance instead of an enormous hangar bay that the Vigilance was in. I guess it says something about the FSA since they built a hangar for such a massive ship instead of docking it to the station via an airlock...
As Chief of Engineering I thought I would make a mock up of Main Engineering since I have the free time and it would serve as a good reference for me and Dizzy as we'll be spending a lot of time there. I'll put it up here once I'm done with it. I could do some simple plans for other places like the bridge too if you'd like Knight. Nothing fancy, just some color coding and basic floor plans to give people an idea of where things are in key areas so we don't get confused by everyone having a different picture in their head.
I was just wondering is English your first language? I've noticed the way you type makes me think not. I don't mind really, I get what you're saying I was just curious.
Kaz made his way down the street in his normal everyday clothes. In fact, he only had a single set of clothes to wear at any given time. Being as poor as he was, going to such a nice place was a first for him as he had never had the money to spend in such a rich part of the city. It wasn't too long ago that he was living on the streets as a bum. Of course, he was now a Professional Bender for the Lizard Crows so he probably wouldn't have to steal just to survive anymore. It would surely be a nice change of pace.

He turned a corner and was greeted by a familiar face. It was Nala, the Water Bender for the Lizard Crows. She waved to him with a smile. Nala was a good looking girl, she had long black hair that she kept in a braid, her skin was slightly darker than you would expect for someone of the water tribe, deep brown eyes, and a full voluptuous figure. She was slightly shorter than Kaz and dressed in a long Water Tribe robe with sleeves that were slightly over-sized. Kaz hadn't really gotten to know her at all since he left immediately after the match. Kaz had been keeping his hands in his pockets when Nala suddenly grabbed his arm to walk along with him.

Kaz: "What are you doing?"
Nala: "Don't you know it's customary for a man to escort a woman?"
Kaz: "Whatever. I can't believe I'm going to get to eat at a place like Rascal Flats."
Nala: "Have you never been there before?"
Kaz: "People like me don't usually eat at fancy Restaurants."
Nala: "People like you?"
Kaz: "You know, poor people."
Nala: "That explains your clothes I guess...."
Kaz: "What's wrong with my clothes?"
Nala: "Oh... Nothing."

Just as they reached the entrance to the Rascal Flats Emi appeared, she had apparently been waiting for them. Emi, the Earth Bender for the Lizard Crows, was the younger of the two and about six inches shorter than Kaz. She had chin length light brown hair, hazel green eyes, well tanned olive skin, and a very feminine petite figure. Emi was wearing a sleeveless Earth Kingdom robe with gold bracelets. At first she smiled at Kaz but then gave an angry look to Nala, who was still holding on to his arm as they walked together.

Emi: "Wan Lo is waiting for us inside. He got us a table already."
Kaz: "That's good. I can't wait try the food here."
Emi: "I'll show you to the table then."

With that Emi grabbed his other arm and escorted them inside. Had Kaz been wearing better clothes he might have looked like some kind of ladies man. In a way he felt like a ladies man, two good looking girls on either arm, but he figured they only liked him because he won the match. In any event, he supposed that making a move on either of them would be easy since he'd practically carried the team to victory. Kaz could barely move one way or the other as they dragged him inside like a prized Leopard Turtle. Wan Lo was sitting in the corner wiping his thin-framed glasses on his shirt when he spotted them. He waved them over excitedly to the booth he had reserved for them. It was nestled in a quiet corner of the restaurant. As they moved past the bar a woman stepped back into their path and Kaz, unable to steer his own path, collided with her. The woman immediately turned around and shouted at him. Ty-Lee: "Hey watch where you are going here people are trying to get to their table or seat to the bar." There wasn't much he could have done to avoid her in any case, not to mention that she had bumped into him. Nala and Emi both looked irate and Kaz felt the same. Who was this person getting mad at him for something she had done? Kaz held himself back from lashing out at her in front of all the upper class people in the restaurant. Kaz: "Look where you're going before you yell at people."
I was going to make that post include a lot more stuff but it's late so I'll save the skits I left out for later. Feel free to run into Kaz at the restaurant if you wish.
