Yes, that was the point I was trying to make Trivia. I have issues making things clear XD. I appreciate your input. :)

But, alas, it's not something everyone will agree with so we should drop the topic quickly I guess. Change of suBject? :> I play yugioh!

I know it's childish and all but the people I hang out with are into it, somehow. So I just get a deck, set a table and start pwning them every now and then. My fighting style is extremely trap heavy but is held back by my lack of heavy hItting monsters. Ratio of 3 to 4 traps per monster, some monsters are even traps themselves! Needless to say, my deck is very red/puRp in colour (traps aRe reddish cards). Guess it reflects my personality, patient and lazy. :3

What geekish, hidden pleasures do you all have?
Haha, you've got me all wrong. I did not mean that everyone had to make 2 characters or everyone had to read both sides, just stick to the side your character is on.

Only spies or when information gets by/something drastic happens, we get to have a glimpse of the other side and our characters can react to that information.

But since this is a wildly unpopular opinion, I shall say no more. OnwaRd then!

edIt: I just wanted to asure you Tm, that we (I) aren't in anyway disatisfied with anything in this rp at all - even with all the suggestions! They are just suggestions (very light ones), not improvements. More "what Ifs" than "we shoulds". In case you thought an Idea might help. :)

The rp is still excellent! and also, welcome planteater!
Or maybe make an entire thread dedicated to the enemy (yes, I said enemy. :P) side?

It will be more realistic in a sense and we won't know what's going on, till it actually affects us in a drastic way, less metaplay.

Then when the two factions meet halfway in the timeline, we could simply have the players post copies of their posts on both sides. Makes spying, premonition, divination, intruige and politics much more feasible (and easier to plot too since you get ideas from both sides!) and actually possible in a roleplay setting.

I'm just throwing this idea to OOC, it's an idea I had awhile but I totally don't mind if it is decided against. I was reminded of it when you were debating how divination would work.

edIt: It might even get more players for the enemy side, without making things too hectic (too many posts IC) yet still keep this a big kitchen (aka, LOTR cast sized) .
Woohoo!

I can not wait to see how this goes, the entire cast is so interesting in each of their own ways. I look forward to the start of this! :D
Oh my.

Squeaks has the behaviour set most likened to a hamster, an intelligent hamster. At least, one that kind of understands what you are saying. He, though his gender is debatable, would never be able to invent the wheel if he hadn't seen it. As a golem, his lifespan is still a question as his creator has noticed nothing of aging as of yet, only signs of growth if ever so little. He does eat (alum??? and other ferrous metals) and will starve if he does not, at which point he will make a racket to get your attention long - you will find him hard to ignore. He communicates by,... squeaking, or he pressumably does. His language has yet to be deciphered.

Squeaks moves by bouncing, rolling and squirming his ever slightly amorphous body. While he cannot float, he is lighter than water and will remain bouyant in it. He has two glowing dots that resemble eyes on his head, which ever side of his rotund body that is. Strangely enough, he is startled by thunderstorms, for he was created when Rowen (on one of his crazed, drunken, I-have-nothing-to-live-for nights) basically captured lightning in a rubbery bottle and screamed for it to live (a very simplistic explanation of what actually happened, but even he has no idea how to recreate it).

Squeaks does not have the power of a god, if he did, you'd all be made of aluminium foil and the world would be in even greater peril than this war.

Edit: I agree that the capabilities of what the bracelets can do are just conjecture, nothing solid till they actually do something. I should have mentioned that more clearly. The theory about True Ressurection was just the conclusions of an ancient sect of lorekeepers who said that life, in essence, is order imposed on chaos and that death is chaos in essence. So the diety Lim could, through, her power bring order to what has passed and restore life to the dead. They mentioned her miracles every now and then to conclude this. But for all we know, they might be mad men. :>

Is tht okey?
My machine broke after I tried installing bluestacks to play Bravefrontier. :< I just got it back up and running. I never forgot this though.

I tried to make a character that was Sairuvar but still distinct enough from our 2 foot tall friend. I'd like to think he expresses / explores the more academic side of magic in contrast to their spirituality, in his background and his personality. Without being someone who was clearly meant for greater things, he has a more normal-esque history. That was what I was going for, at least. Not sure how well I did though. :>

I've expanded on the lore a tad, I hpe it's alright with you. In this regard I'll try and clarify a few here;

The formatting will improve over time, once I figured out how to work the eldritch html this website uses. >_<
Name
Rowen
His birthname is Rouenr Lakarii (ROH-EN-NIR LAK-KAU-REE), meaning 'He who roams shores" in the Calvan tongue. But for good reason, he has adopted a more Edhel friendly name over the years.

Age
29

Gender
Male

Alliance
Edhil Resistance

Race
Calva

Appearance:
Taller than most, but only slightly so, Rouenr Lakarii is a fit-looking male who hides his rough features under a lavish coat and forward folding hat - that keeps his pointed, fur-tipped ears out of sight. The only obvious sign of his Calvan origin, which otherwise he has oddly few, despite his pure ancestry. It is possible that his upbringing among the Edhil has led him to resemble them more physically but that is only conjecture.

His hair, like his ears, are a matt dark grey in colour that are swept back on top then run down his sideburns and across his jaw in a short mane. His brows are slightly thick but shaped, making his steely-blue eyes almost perpetually pensive in expression. His incisors are sharp and are another giveaway to his identity when he laughs, though only when he forgets about them.

His physique is muscular, an uncommon attribute among those who live in the Tower, likely caused by his habit (and hobby) of running wildly and climbing difficult places in times of stress. A throwback to his younger days. But he usually wears clothing that covers it, rather much looking regal than primitive at any given time.

Among his favourites is a sturdy-looking maroon coat with tan hemmings, coloured to imitate gold which, alas, only the rich can afford and he cannot. It bears a number of crests that mark him as a a bonafide Sairuvar and hint at his fields of expertise, he believes it has warded off trouble on more than one occasion where a fight would have otherwise broken out, afterall no one wants to mess with someone they think can set their hair on fire with but a glare.

Class
Sairuvar

Armor and Weapons
None. He tries his best to look imposing though but his defence is at best, psychological. He carries no weapons, save the sharp metal tips of his rather heavy grimoire ,,,maybe....he can...club someone with it?

Personality
"Perhaps the recounting of the past twenty-or-so years of his life would be trivial to Edhil ears, for they live through milleniums And his existence is but a second to them.

But to him, it is every bit as precious, for that he makes up his time with drive and vigor unseen among the Immortals."
-Quote from Rowen's Background

Quick to act on his thoughts and logical to a fault. Rowen is often seen by his long-lived peers as impatient as he is unable to stand or sit around for long. Try as they might to get him to do so. And perhaps because he also sees it as a waste of time, the things he say often lack subtlety and are direct to the point. Much to the dismay of those whose prides hinge on their bloated egos.

He has a personal grudge towards physical violence and especially those who use it against the defenceless, he will condemn them, if not with words then with peals of lightning. This can mean trouble when dealing with other members of his race, the Calva, whom he has come to see as barbaric and uncouth - and whom he is slightly ashamed to be part of.

To say that he lacks wisdom is not too far off from reality.

But for all his faults, he has a capable mind and is guided by a semblance of justice. He does not shy from deduction or responsibility, coupled with his strong will, can be a boon when the moral lines between right and wrong are blurred. Not always accurate, but he always strives to take the side of reason.

Other
After his mentor died, Rowen created a golem in his laboratory. A being of lightning given life through unknown means, sealed in a rubbery plasmodermic shell that was it's body which he affectionately called 'Squeaks' after the chirps it makes and it's tiny size.

Though Squeaks could not help him deal with his loss, he still cares for it much.
Yep, I understand you're all just helping and not insisting. :) It's all good advice I could use.
I thought she was something else. Yikes, ultra blindness on my part (my bad, little miss treestump :< *twiddles her spindly hands*... friends again yes?)!

But alright I'll come up with something different from her. :) Glad I could join.
I'd like to join as a Sairuvar, since we don't yet have one (and I like variety :]), is that alright? Would there be room for one more?
