Personality: Princess Rhaenyra is said to be a spitting image of her forbear who held her name before. Much like her ancestor before her, she is just as proud and stubborn as any Targaryen before her, though, unlike some of her family, she possesses a much more forgiving and caring nature, giving her a very charming and likeable nature, at least of that compared to those within her family that make themselves not so easily liked. She is said to be honorable and kind, with a great love for art and poetry. Though by no means a renowned fighter, she is an experienced swordsman and lancer, having been taken under the wing of her father, who thought it best to train his daughter in combat, should the need ever arise.

Biography: Born into a family that arose from the ashes, Rhaenyra was quick to learn from the errors of the past in what had caused the downfall of her family. From a young age, both her and her sister Baela were taught the history of House Targaryen, from its start, to its bloody end, and to the rebirth, each detail taught to instill one resounding message, never take anything for granted. Her parents were brother and sister, married to one another as was done in times of old, regardless of what the faith thought. And while this may have been seen as sinful and dangerous, the results were quite the opposite. Two girls were born, both beautiful, smart, fair, two pieces of Valyrian steel that came forth into perfect form. No signs of cruelty nor madness, it was a sign from the Seven, or even the gods of old, that good can come from anything.

Rhaenyra Targaryen the Second, Princess of House Targaryen, though of course, on a branch of the House that no longer was in the direct line of succession for the Iron Throne, which had since been remade anew, a throne befitting the likes of King Aegon VI and Queen Daenerys Targaryen. Truth be told, she was said to look like Rhaenyra Targaryen the First, a Queen who never was, something that Rhaenyra II took great interest in. Of course, who doesn’t dream of being Queen, of being ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, but, that certainly seemed like a dream that could never be attained, at least so she thought.

When her Great-Uncle, Aegon IX, began searching for wives for his second son, Daenys Targaryen, her parents put her forth as a possible candidate, even though she was just a babe at the time. Such a match we bring the two halves of the family back together, and allow Rhaenyra to be a potential candidate for Queen, if Daenys were to ever become King himself, but such was not meant to be. It was whispered that Daenys was not interested in women, and that he had bestial appetites. Further, it was her father who decided to rescind the offer, once he began to see what Daenys Targaryen was truly like, a future Mad King, much like his forbear King Aerys II was. Even worse, was the fact that this man hated his family, and it would do little good to try and force Rhaenyra unto such a monster as Daenys.

Prince Jaehaerys IV even tried convincing his cousin Aegon IX to allow Rhaenyra to marry Aegon X, but it was quickly laid to rest when Aegon X would not take another wife than his first, adhering to the wishes of the Seven and the High Septon. For a time, Rhaenyra and her sister Baela thought that perhaps that they would end up marrying into the Crakehall family, as they were powerful, and close ally’s to the Targaryen’s, but all talk of that ended with the untimely death of Prince Jaehaerys IV and Princess Visenya III in a ship wreck mere minutes from the safety of Dragon’s Rest, a storm dashing the ship against an outcrop of rocks. It is said that both the young Targaryen’s cried themselves to sleep for many a week afterword.

Since the death of her parents, Rhaenyra has run her household, bringing forth in the last three years record crop harvests and prosperity, using the assets at hand to bring life back into a slogging region that has long been overshadowed by King’s Landing and other great regions of the Kingdom. What’s more, is that two dragons have been slowly growing at Dragon’s Rest, gifts from King Aegon X himself, for the continued love of his family, and as a way of trying to help comfort his nieces. While a relatively small region of power in the grand scheme of things, Rhaenyra and Baela both are sworn vassals of King Aegon X, and thusly, their military strength was but a small portion of a larger Royal Army.

The Princesses currently reside over the Northern Crownlands, holding fealty and control Antlers in the West, House Buckwell, Duskendale to the South, House Rykker, and Dyre Den to the East, and with it, all of Crackclaw Point, to include Houses Boggs, Brune, Cave, Crabb, Hardy, and Pyne. Furthermore, they also have a new comer, Lady Celia Mooton, younger sister to Lord Mooton, who has sworn fealty to the sisters in return for the chance of creating her own house and lands. Control of all these houses has allowed for both sisters to learn greatly, even if it is only on a small scale, who to run a house, a region, and perhaps, if fate wills it, a kingdom. Still, both women are young, and will no doubt require help in order to have any hope of ascending to the Iron Throne.

She is honorable and truthful, striving to achieve excellence in all she partakes in, making her a force to be reckoned with when she believes that she is being cheated, or taught incorrectly. Baela believes is service before self, which co-insides with her belief of integrity first as well, making her a hard woman to lie to, for she has been known to hold grudges against those that would dare lie to her or her kin.

Biography: Much like her sister, Baela Targaryen learned of the rise and fall of her family, and its rebirth. Thanks to the closeness of her age to her elder sister, Baela followed in her footsteps, learning as much as she could, and doing all that she could as well to excel in her studies and learnings. And yet, it was here that she not only shined, but showed how different she was from her elder sister. Where Rhaenyra was a decent sword fighters and horse rider, Baela was a warrior Princess reborn, some saying a reincarnation of Visenya Targaryen of old.

Training with both sword and spear, her skill in combat signed brighter than dragon flame. Something about her, perhaps her zeal for combat, or perhaps the blood that flows in her veins, she was soon one of the best fighters in the Crownlands, if not the greater Southern region. She even came in second at the great tourney of King Aegon X’s 30th name-day celebrations, only losing in the lists to Lord Tywin Crakehall, yet only after twelve passes did she finally lose. Since then, she has continued a good friendship with Lord Tywin.

Like her elder sister, Baela currently cares for a three year old dragon, aptly named Jadefyre, for its deep Jade and Green colored scales. With a trained rider, and a jointly love for flying and the world, Baela Targaryen and Jadefyre are a force to be reckoned with.

A small house of landed knights, said to be the bastard descendants of House Reyne and House Crakehall. Whilst over the past decades, the house has grown to being on the verge of possibly becoming a full noble house. Or so the members of House Vikary say. They are loyal servants of the Lords of the Westerlands, House Crakehall. Led currently by Ser Kevan Vikary, the Vikary's followed the summoning of their liege lord, and rode off to join his army. With the defeat at King's Landing, Ser Kevan Vikary leads his weary men back home, hoping to catch a respite from war, before returning to Casterly Rock and answering to their Liege Lord.

Being a smaller house, and one that is not exceedingly wealthy, the men of House Vikary field perhaps a total of 130 men in all. Mainly men-at-arms, the House does boast that it has a total of ten knights, to include Ser Kevan and his son Ser Devan. House Vikary plays a small part in the greater whole of the Crakehall host, offering a unit of spearmen, swordsmen, and some archers. Their equipment is not the best, and is generally secondhand arms and armor purchased from more powerful houses in the region. The soldiers of House Vikary take great pride in the gear, doing what they can to keep it in service as long as possible.

With the proposed marriage alliance between House Crakehall and House Stark, House Vikary supports the actions and decisions of their Liege Lords, and hope to perhaps warm relations with those of the North.

The Reach
Due to the current events concerning the line of succession, and the recent loss at King's Landing, House Vikary supports war between the Reach and the Westerlands. They are not friendly to those from the Reach, but treat them with honor.

Blood Runs Over Westeros: A Game of Thrones RP

A brief history of the events after the death of King Aegon of Houses Targaryen and Celtigar, Tenth of His Name, King of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm, as composed by Maester Ostegar.

I shall start of this historical account by saying we all deeply mourn the untimely death of King Aegon X, for his death was most sudden and unexpected. King Aegon X was the picture of health, lively and spirited, he was not known to have any afflictions that would have forewarned of his passing. Some whisper that it was his younger brother, Daenys Targaryen, who poisoned the king in a bid to gain the crown himself. Foul rumors speak of Prince Daenys coveting the throne and crown for himself, thus leading him to commit both regicide and fratricide. Yet, these are but rumors, and rumors alone are not enough evidence to fully reveal truth behind this troublesome chapter in our Kingdom's history.

-The first days following the death of King Aegon the Tenth-

The Death of Aegon the Tenth set into motion a series of events that perhaps few, if any could have ever foreseen. Whilst many believed that Daenys Targaryen would be the next King of Westeros, it was decreed by the late King Aegon X, in his most current iteration of who would succeed him in the line of succession, that Daenys Targaryen would not be his heir. This raised a great deal of concern, considering the fact that King Aegon X had still yet to marry, or sire any heirs, legitimate and illegitimate.

Prince Daenys on the other hand, at the behest of his late father Aegon the Ninth, arranged him to marry Dalla Baratheon, which produced a single son, Aerys Targaryen, Third of his Name. Whilst the legalities and troublesome nature of Prince Daenys being passed over for the crown, his claim at this point, or so it was said, was not to be recognized. Prince Daenys was on Dragonstone, the ancestral seat of the heir to the throne. This complicated matters, as he was not only in control of the holdings of the heir to the throne, but his own dragon as well, (insert Daenys dragon's name).

The source of the contention behind Prince Daenys being rendered ineligable for taking the throne resided with the small council, overseen by the Lord Hand himself, Lord Garland of the House Tyrell. Chosen by Aegon the Tenth, along with a fresh cabinet of younger lords to serve on the small council, it was Lord Garland who brought forth the last decree, or perhaps will, of King Aegon X that stated Prince Daenys would not inherit the throne. The council was comprised of Lord Garland Tyrell as Hand of the King, Ser Willas Tyrell as Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, Lord Corwyn Baelish as Master of Coin, Lord Ormund Hightower II as Master of Laws, Prince Daenys Targaryen as Master of Whispers, Lord Arthas Mallister as Master of Ships, and Grand Maester Lornwell. At the command of the Lord Hand, a vote was put forth, passing in a four to three split decision that Prince Daenys would not inherit the throne.

Lord Garland, Ser Willas, Lord Ormund, and Lord Arthas all voted in favor of passing Prince Daenys for succession, while Lord Corwyn, Maester Lornwell, and of course, Prince Daenys voted for him to ascend the throne. This decision is said to have been the catalyst that has led to the realm tearing itself apart. Prince Daenys swore that he would not sit idly by and let someone else take his throne, vowing to repay the traitors who voted against him. He fled to Dragonstone shortly following the results of the vote, along with Lord Corwyn. Word traveled quickly following this vote, further splitting the realm.

With the disinheritance of Prince Daenys, and by laws of succession, his son Aerys Targaryen, the throne was without an immediate heir, leaving the remnant of the Small Council scrambling to find an heir for the throne, especially considering that Prince Daenys had isolated himself on Dragonstone, trying to gather houses loyal to him, and his son Aerys having not been seen in years. With a growing movement seeking to place Prince Daenys on the throne, a new claimant came forth. Lord Tyget Crakehall, Lord Paramount of the Westerlands, laid forth his claim to the Iron Throne, through the blood he shared with his forebear that married Rhaena Targaryen, daughter of King Aegon Targaryen VII and Gael Targaryen. Already, even as those in King's Landing frantically searched for the rightful heir, Lord Tyget Crakehall had declared himself King, raising a massive army to support that claim.

Yet, far more concerning than perhaps the correct line of succession for the Iron Throne, were the reports that fluttered in from the Wall, the great expanse of ice and snow that had for millennia protected the realms of men from the horrors that roamed the great untamed expanse of the lands beyond the Wall. One of the last known Lannisters, who had become Lord Commander of the Night's Watch no less, Tyron Lannister, sent word out by raven to all who would listen, that the dead walked the lands once again, that the forces of darkness had returned, and they hungered for everything south of the Wall.

-The decent into madness, the weeks after King Aegon X's death-

Perhaps one of the sadder aspect of the death of King Aegon X was the unraveling of Prince Daenys thinly veiled sanity and civility. None truly know what horrors Dalla Baratheon underwent upon Dragonstone, save that she died a horrible death, her severed head be sent to the Lord Hand Garland Tyrell, as a vile warning of the evils to come. Murdered in cold blood, along with the possibility of Aerys Targaryen having been murdered too, Prince Daenys was doing all he could to force the realm to choose him as King. The blood of the Dragon at times could produce monsters, and Prince Daenys Targaryen was shaping up to be akin to the likes of Aerys the II or Maelor the Monstrous.

The small council, at the behest of Lord Garland, went on a temporary recess in order to spend time with their families, and prepare themselves for the long road ahead. It was in Highgarden, seat of power for the Tyrell family, that Lord Garland saw first hand Prince Daenys depravity. Dalla Baratheon's head was delivered in a box, with an ominous message inside, reading "You're all next." There was no denying it, Prince Daenys was on the war path and he was going to exact his revenge against all those who had voted against him. To make matters worse for the remaining small council, Lord Tyget Crakehall had not only crowned himself King of the Seven Kingdoms, but had raised a powerful army, with the intent to march upon King's Landing.

It was at the behest of the Lord Hand that the blood letting of the Gold Cloaks took place. It was also at the behest of the Lord Hand that the banners of the Reach were raised, in part to ready them for a very possible conflict

Pretty damn good @Gowi, darn good looking CS. Well planned and flesh out, plenty of detail. I have no problem with you posting it to the CS Section, and being able to post Icly. I will wait for at least either @bluetommy2 or @kingkonrad for a second seal of approval.

[My only qualm is that I have Lord Mooton currently serving as one of my Northern Crownlands Bannermen, so, if you wish, we can go into a back story as to when he switched liege lords, perhaps through marriage or something to that affect.]
