Casually walking past each of the prison cells of the chosen villains, MindWarp discovered that they had all escaped or had been freed. It wasn’t a bad thing, it just made her job a little easier. She had Virus following their movements via surveillance cameras and it appeared that they had all gathered together in and around the storage chamber. That was were she was currently headed.
Passing one cell in particular MindWarp caught sight of the warden hiding in a glass cylinder or what looked like a giant jar. With a smile that meant no good, she crafted an illusion of a security guard becoming him out with a promise of safety then illusioned a metal collar around his neck with a chain leash attached to it. The Warden thought that it was really there, but no one else would be able to see it. She was going to give the Warden to her chosen villains as a sort of peace offering. MindWaro tugged the Warden along behind her and he was powerless to refuse. To him, the pulling chain was just too strong and he was forced to follow obediently like some kind of pet.
She arrived at the storage chamber just in time to hear an armoured mans promise. The glowing red visor revealed his name sake. Red Abyss. She should know, after all she had specifically chosen him to be a member of her team. The others in the room consisted of more of her chosen Villains. Krystaal, Bacchus, Velocity, The Cheshire Cat, Third Eye, Thane and Audiophile. However, the last presence in the room was an unknown. But the alien, as it appeared to be, could be a useful asset to her team.
“Your fury will be of great use to the cause and I just so happen to have a way out of this irritating building and the island it has been constructed upon. Good evening my lovelies, I see everyone managed to successfully exit their cells. Perfect. I am MindWarp and there is no need to thank me, my reasons are quite selfish after all.” She revealed honestly. “You have been chosen to join me in my quest for villainous dominance. The world is our oyster and it is our job, no. It is our fate to lay waste to it. We shall be what the people of this planet make us out to be. We will be their worst nightmares. Alone we end up in prisons, but united we shall prevail. But of course the choice to join me is solely yours.” She wasn’t going to force anyone to join the team. If they truly didn’t want to then she didn’t want them either. MindWarp illusioned the chain to pull the Warden into the room. “I have brought you all a little present, so whilst you all do what you like with him, think my proposal over. If you choose to accept then join me on our ride out of here.” She turned to Virus and grinned.
“Could you be a dear and open Bay 3’s door. We have a craft to commandeer.” With that she moved deeper into the massive storage chamber and entered through a door labeled ‘Bay 3.’ Inside was a large battle air craft and she had Virus hack into the system and open the ramp so they could board and they waited for any others to join them.
