Wow this exploded.

Well, you might be able to tempt me with the colonial navy. I'll see if I can maintain it over the next few days.

Sounds good to me.

Are there any alien factions?

No.

I'd be interested in controlling the Luddic Church!

We'd have starships such as this: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/451626668862420905/
And our theme song would be this: https://soundcloud.com/mmomusic/aion-ost-18-darks-innocence
Our ideal world (and the interior of our ships) looks like this: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/451626668862174841/

Very interesting! I like it.

I will assume direct control of the hegemony if that is alright. Everey stry needs an antagonist after all.

Read the OP, please.
In the waning days of the Epoch, the Domain collapsed. Hyper-gate travel to the Core worlds was cut off. There was no more 'Domain of Man'. Only the factions that could survive without the guiding hand of the Domain of Man. Now new factions rise and thirst for power in this ripe, untamed galaxy.
Our story starts in a uninmportant cluster of systems, located on what was once the edge of the Domain of Man.
The Axrelien Cluster. Five different, major factions compete in this cluster.
The Hegemony.
A direct descendant from the Domain of Man, the Hegemony rules it's worlds with an iron fist. It's is regarded as the largest military power in the sector, but it's navy is aging and outdated.
The Tri-Tachyon.
A splinter group of the Tri-Tachyon corporation, the Tri-Tachyon are the most advanced in the sector, capable of building new ships and creating new blueprint-chips for the construction of ships and modules.
The Luddic Church.
Born out of doomsday preppers and religious extremists during the Collapse, the Luddic Church is second to the Hegemony in military power due to their highly advanced Cathedral-Class starships. The Luddic church itself seeks to rid Humanity of technology, but is highly hypocritical in that regard.
The Sindarian Diktat.
A splinter of the Hegemony's power, lead by a former Hegemony Admiral who rebelled against them. The Sindarian Diktat is a relatively new nation, but falls just behind the Luddic Church in military power thanks to it's mostly modernized, small fleet of powerful ships. Often regarded as a bunch of rabble, no one really takes them seriously due to their new-ness to the cluster. In an Alliance with the Tri-Tachyon known as the Darkstar Institute.
The Colonial Navy
Once again, a split of the Hegemony's former power. A collection of freethinkers and liberatarians sick of the Hegemony's oppressive tactics, they staged a daring assault on a Hegemony world and seized it, renaming it Liberation. The Colonial Navy has since earned the ire of the Luddic Church along with the Hegemony, but is strong allies with the Sindarian Diktat and Tri-Tachyon.

In this RP, you create a new faction of your choosing or control one of the existing ones. The Hegemony however, can not be chosen.

Color me interested.
Earth burns.
Earth's surface is no longer inhabitable. A meteor named Vulcan's hammer ensured that. Before it impacted, however, a group of people escaped on a colony ship to a new world.

After a long search, with almost zero remaining supplies and fuel, the colony ship's computer was forced to awake the captain of the ship from cryogenic suspension and ask him to choose a destination.
The planet they chose was marginally habitable. 255 Celsius in day light, -58 Celsius at night. A thin C02 atmosphere, and the planet was surrounded by a debris cloud from a meteor impacting it's moon, dooming the planet to bombardment for years.

The only saving grace was that the planet had an active magnet field and was resource rich. It was all they had.
The captain made the decision to land.
Now, you play a pivotal roll in the establishment of the colony. You are the first to land. You will make the decisions that bring the human race survival...or damn it all to hell.

Choose wisely.

As the prologue states, this RP is about the last of Humanity escaping from a now dead Earth to a minimally habitable world. I'm looking for five or so players to make up the council that will guide the colony's development, with each decision having consequences.
That's better, yes, though i suggest having a look at the example ship.
I didn't realize there was some interest in this still, hadn't checked it.
Approved, although, for a ship that size, it is extremely lightly armed.
Hey guys. Still accepting applications!
I'm gonna have to reject your application, the max player allowed class is under 10 kilometers. The Three Mountains is 28 kilometers. Please rectify this and i will be happy to approve your application.
