that could work, but I think we are going to need King for the final say in this.
Would anyone be interested in playing The Regiment, a free apocalypse world hack. For anyone who doesn't know what Apocalypse World is, it is a narrative focused tabletop rpg. It focuses on the story more than the mechanics. When a player wishes to do something, they choose a move that most closely fits the situation. For example, if someone wishes to leap across a large pit, they would use "Do something under fire" (the fire being the risk of falling) and roll 2d6+Cool stat. On a 10+, they succeed and do exactly what they want. On a 7-9, they partially suceed, but the GM may have a worse outcome occur, or force them to make a tough choice (such as needing to leave behind their heavy machine gun to make it safely). On a 6 or less, they fail, and the GM makes a hard move.

The Regiment changes the game to the Second World War and instead of apocalypse survivors, the players takes roles such as The Soldier, The Commando, The Medic, etc. The character's moves are changed, and several new mechanics are introduced such as Volume of Fire and Stress.

Yes, but I mean for the purpose of communicating with other NATO forces. Every U.S. Army squad would have an Alpha and Bravo fire team, so going by just Bravo would be a bad idea. Hence standard US military call signs like Viking 2-1-A ("Viking" Company, 2nd platoon, 1st squad, fire team alpha). Problem is, our characters don't really belong to a standard military company or platoon.
For the purposes of communication, what would Linn's squad call sign be?
Well guys, it only took a month, but i finally hit the "Submit Post" button.
Dallas Linn dove into the water after his commanding officer and took a moment to become accustomed with the new environment. He was an airborne ranger, and while it probably seemed crazy to everyone else in the world, he would rather jump out of a perfectly good aircraft than a boat into a combat zone any day of the week. He watched Huscarl's flare begin to move deeper in the dark water and followed the glowing red light down. It wasn’t long before the wreckage of an old boat came into view.

Linn moved to one end of the crate, took hold of it, and paused while Huscarl hefted his own end. He started to lift up before Huscarl suddenly stopped and stood still, as if he was listening for something. He couldn’t hear whatever it was that had spooked Huscarl, but if it had him spooked, it was definitely worth worrying about. He had his answer when the captain spoke, and Linn quickly moved to a position near the wreckage entrance. The ranger instinctively reached for his weapon, realised it wasn’t there, then pressed himself against the vessel’s hull and drew his knife, an M9 bayonet, instead.

Praetorian waited until the second diver came fully into view before lunging forward. He rammed into the man’s side, and grabbed onto him. The diver was unable to bring his weapon to bear on his assailant, and he began trying to twist free. The two struggled for several long moments before Linn was able to drive his knife into the diver’s neck and slash it open. He released the man and pushed away from him as the water began turning red. Looking to see how Huscarl was doing, he sighed when he saw the captain was giving him a thumbs up. He swam back over to the crate and took hold of it.
“Let’s get this over with.”
Just posting to let you guys know I'm still here. I'm sorry about not posting but I am currently concussed and cant really do much that involves thinking.
My character seems to be the only one not fighting in the factory.
I mean, is there any other way to make good friends?

They haven't abandoned the factory, they've fallen back after taking heavy losses. I'm sure a commissar would kill them all anyway if there was one around. But I'm sure there were innumerable instances where a Russian soldier backed off into another room in of overwhelming firepower.

EDIT: There are Russians still at large, as per Moritz's current situation, but with the taken, the Panzers can advance without being shot at from above. That was what I was getting at.

Oh, I guess I just didn't read it very closely.
