1) I didn't know about the armour, thanks. EDIT: Just saw that, my bad for no reading the extra stuff on the armour haha, I thought it was a simple enough section.2) I guess I made the assumption that the gun came with one power cell and you could buy spares. Would I have to buy one to begin with?

Yeah, it'll come with one, but once it's dry, recharging off of your solar recharger or off the ship's power is far from quick.
The character sheet looks good, but I just want to make sure you are aware of a few things. One: Your Metal Plate armor only protects against weapons lower than Tech Level 3, and two: you need Type A power cells to power your rifle.

Count it as a victory for the Rebels! We actually made someone call for re-enforcements..

A small victory, but a victory nonetheless.

Lower AC is better... That clears everything up XDThe captain thing makes sense. I think I'm going to take Quartermaster if that's ok.

Alright, that means you get to keep track of supplies and expenses. Pretty much just make sure you have enough food and that the ship isn't going to fall apart the next time you make a spike drill.

I personally don't mind, though I guess I'd have to go captain if we kicked off once I was done? CS question, and this one confused me in D+D: the whole AC/no AC way of working out your armour. It seems to me like you can armour yourself better by not wearing any than wearing some... Can you explain the benefit or wearing half-decent armour? I don't really get it.

AC works like this in SWN:
While wearing armor, your AC is equal to the armor's AC value minus your DEX mod.
While not wearing armor, your AC is equal to 9 minus your DEX mod.

So, a person wearing a leather jack (the worst armor) and with a DEX of 14 has an AC of 6, while that same person not wearing armor has an AC of 8. While wearing woven body armor (your basic modern armor) he has an AC of 4. Remember, the lower AC, the better, as AC is ADDED to opponents attack rolls when shooting at you.

So, even terrible armor is better than none (not factoring encumbrance in, anyway). I hope that helps, unless I completely misunderstood the question.

Also, you don't NEED a captain. You could just say he died and you all just kinda "own" the ship now.
So, do you guys think we should begin when Angstrom gets his character? Or wait for a fourth player?
That is correct. Each named hex is a system and the names on the left right side are the inhabited planets in each system.
If we don't get another player, I can just make an NPC as the hired muscle on the ship to balance it out.
It shouldn't be a huge deal, but you might suffer in ground combat with a wimpy expert (no offense) and another psychic.
