Current Some things have happened and the potential for tragedy has hit full force. If replies are slow, I apologize.

Bio

I'm a single mother who's been RPing for over 15 years.

I enjoy anything medieval/fantasy related and several other RPs.

I get irked easily by people who don't know the difference between "Their", "There", and "They're". Also the ones who use "U" instead of "You".

I'm currently trying to garner interest in my original concept RP, Return of the Dragonlords.http://www.roleplayerguild.com/topics/127256-return-of-the-dragonlords/ooc#post-3693683

I won't give out any off-site contact info here but if you're interested in asking I have Facebook, Skype, and Yahoo. I might be persuaded to give the info via PMs.

I'm thinking I may have to pull a divine intervention here. One of those guiding hand posts I mentioned earlier. Not only will this possibly help Ollum get into the RP, it'll nudge the RP in the right direction. However, I'm going to wait for @Ollumhammersong to say something at least OOC on the matter because I don't want to risk messing up a post he's worked on.
What was she doing? Why was she opening up like this? She couldn't explain it. Maybe she just needed to get it off her chest. For a long while, she didn't move. Finally, she turned to look at him when she spoke. Tears fell from her eyes, slowly trickling down her cheeks as she watched him. "The thing...I wish for..." She started. "...is that my parents were still alive." She explained. "They died...because of me. Because I....Because I couldn't help them." Her hands tightened around the steering wheel in a white knuckled grip as she closed her eyes against her tears. His hand was still on her forearm, and though she didn't realize it, Curt saw the memory as vividly as if it were his own.

The memory flash faded, and by the time it was done, Alyssa could do little more than cry into her hands as her body shook from the memory. The day everything in her life had changed. The day she'd caused her parents' murder.
She laughed a little as she followed him out to the car. Looks like she still had to help him buy a lot of dog stuff when they got back to the clinic. At his question, she paused for a moment. The look that crossed her expression then was different than before. Slowly, she pulled the car off to the side of the road. Her green eyes lost their luster, and the fire behind them turned into a saddened daze. She parked the car and turned it off, her arms folding over the steering wheel. For a long time, she just stared at the hood of her car.

"All the time." She whispered finally, turning her head to look out of her window and keep the back of her head to the man. "Sometimes, though.. I make the same wishes. There's....a few.. that I wish for every day." Her tone was softer when she spoke, and despite the accent, she sounded almost broken. As if something inside her had been crushed. Truth be told, it had.
No worries lol.
When they pulled up to the address, Alyssa nearly fell over in pure shock. That wasn't a house, it was a freaking mansion! So, it took her a few minutes before she was able to get out of the car and follow him in. It wasn't just the outside that was impressive. The whole place was. She followed behind him silently as he gave her the tour, too stunned to really make any comments. Hell, she was barely able to keep up sometimes due to staring at all the splendor of the mansion. Two pools inside the house, massive rooms, a huge yard that was completely fenced in. What kind of work did he say he did again?

She was still staring into his bedroom when she realized they had stopped for several minutes now. She blinked, looking to Curt with an awed expression. For a long while, she stared at him. Her head tilted to the side slightly as she studied him. She couldn't figure it out. There was just something...not human about this guy. She didn't know why she could sense it, but she did. Her brows furrowed and she finally shook her head as if shaking thoughts from her mind. She laughed, her cheeks turning a bit flushed as she rubbed the back of her head.

"You know... I could have just looked at the yard and the main parts of the mansion." She laughed. "I...think it's safe to say that you passed the home inspection."

Jeez... and I thought my place was a dump before. This is ridiculous. She thought to herself. She could clearly picture the run down apartment complex she lived in. A one bedroom apartment that cost her half her check every month on rent and utilities. So this was the sort of place a rich person lived in, huh? She almost laughed again. She never thought she'd so much as set foot in a place like this, let alone get a tour of one.
Well, everyone's noticed him at least. Maybe he's just been quiet this whole time watching the weirdness of the other races?
I think for now, an actual order isn't needed really. We just have to be respectful of the other players in the game. Keep in mind that at any given time, there's going to be at least seven other posts that need to be read and responded to because that is how many people we currently have. In the beginning of the posting phase, we were a bit slow on the posting. It only shot up a good deal once most of the players had posted their intro into the story.

I'd personally like to keep us all in one group. Two groups would be hard for this plot to work to be honest as it would detour around the main story. Not to mention I have every intention of the ruins everyone's currently in being a sort of cataclysm for the story to begin. Everyone has a role to play in the story. I even have plans to incorporate Denrig and Halen's homelands into the mix as part of the story line. There will be points in the RP where I'll be making a sort of guiding hand post.

In fact, to keep the group together, even after the sort of explosion of anger issues, I've already got something in mind. As it is right now, I only need Halen to get closer to camp. Even though Cedran has wandered off, I've a plan to sort of get him back with the others as well that's already been put into motion privately.
I have 3 dogs to get bathed, so I'll get to this problem again when I get the chance to.
@Ollumhammersong Gotcha. I'll work out a posting order then and have that up. Go ahead and post though if you have time and we'll start the posting order off with you.
Well, he was a curious sort, wasn't he? She couldn't help but laugh a little at the question, though. That one was easier for her to figure out than the other one. "Well, I'm not one to give up on things to be honest. Truthfully? I'm probably a bit too stubborn sometimes when it comes to that." She stopped at a red light and patted her thigh on her right leg. "I have a scar here because of not giving up on problems. We had a dog come into the shelter once that was extremely aggressive toward people, but I could tell it was only because he was afraid." She started to drive again. "So I climbed into the kennel with him. He bit me, of course, but I just sat there and let him growl and bite until he let go despite Anna screaming her head off. Cost me about thirty stitches, but it was worth it when he got adopted."

She smiled at the memory. She'd done what she felt was right. "And you wanna know a secret? That dog that bit me? He's a local hero. Turns out, he stopped the woman he got adopted by from getting mugged by chasing off the attackers." She giggled at that. "It's kinda funny, isn't it? Going through all that pain just for a dog? But the way I see it, if a problem is worth my time to fix, then I'm going to find the solution no matter what happens. Of course the last time I said that I ended up with a hole in my leg." She laughed again.
