"Oh well done you freakin smartass!" I shouted back at him. I wasnt sure if I was shouting from shock or from anger. Probably a bit of both but I was already starting to get sick of him.

I was so confused. The blast wasn't painful but it had done something. I had no idea what. I just felt different somehow. "What the fuck just happened?". It was all I had to say.

What the hell was this storm? It was like nothing I had ever seen. I was honestly scared (A feeling I wasn't used to). I could see I wasn't the only one. At least I wasn't being as idiotic as Luke. I stood in silence for a second until a scream from Luke startled me and I also began to run into the community centre. At the last minute I turned around to see Luke nearly getting hit by ice. I couldn't let him die. I ran at him and pulled him out of the way of a piece of falling ice.

I looked at Luke. "Oh you think not eh?" I retorted sarcastically. I mean seriously who did this Luke guy think he was. He was acting like he was our leader. Do this, do that. I don't think I could put up with him for the whole community service time with his stupid remarks. The onyl person who had not said much so far was the other girl, Angel I think her name was. So I wasn't too sure how what she was like. Hopefully not as dumb as the other two anyway.

The one with the typical community service boyfriend story made me smirk. I had heard it a million times. It seemed yo happen with nearly every single woman who had community service. I assume half of the men just got sick of them and lied. As I thought I laughed to myself suddenly realizing It was out loud.

This probation officer seemed like a complete prick. What happened to the last probation officer I got? Tony I think his name was, he was a good guy. This new guy looked like he had been pumped up on steroids. I looked around at the other offenders taking part in the service. They didn't look the brightest bunch but that didn't bother me. When the social worker left I watched him as he walked away, just hearing someone make a sarcastic comment. "No he isn't is he".
