Skills: Sunie is an advanced Weapon smith who is a retired assassin who possesses all the needed skills for each profession.

Personality: Sunie can be rather distant, not wanting to grow close to people again after all she has been through. When she does open up it can be a coin toss to whether she will be cruel or if she will kind. Once described as a time bomb ready to go off and at the same time by the same person as a soul he wished others possessed.

History: She worked for years for The Grey, pulling money from both sides for various assignments. Over the years she began to work more closely with the Immortals than with the Government; not because she preferred one side over the other but simply because she found more she could be friends with. Over the years she worked very closely with a man known as Pytor Phage; her trainer, recruiter and handler while she was younger. During the years since she met him she ran many missions with him and in the end ended up losing her arm pushing a fellow op out of the way of a mine. It was replaced with basic bio wear but she hated its inability and restrictions. Over the years she slowly created her own replacement for it using the knowledge of a special material she gained access to through the Immortals, eventually retiring as an assassin and preferring to work on new toys for Pytor to work with. They eventually lost contact and she does not know if he still survives or not. She now has a weapon smith shop in her home on the outskirts of the Grey territory and works part time to fund her experiments.

History: Risa grew up with loving parents and in a stable home, excelling in school with various subjects but she was best with learning languages and computer programming. She led a normal life but when she was in high school she was caught hacking the national bank of Finland as part of a thesis to prove the security flaws in their systems. This brought her to the attention of the national government and their military. In exchange for not going to prison she was enlisted in their special ops program and trained as a covert op. This too she excelled at and was watched carefully by the Nexus Program after she assassinated a world leader without their government becoming aware. At the age of 23 she was captured by a specialized team working for The Nexus and forced into cryogenic freezing as their first “recruit”

Seeking Rpers with Flair and Dramatics - Updated 7/30

Greetings and Salutations,

I am a long term Rper even though I am relatively new to these forums. I have been caught up in the worlds of the forum RP for over a decade and been parts of table top rps longer than I care to admit. I enjoy most all styles of Rp but prefer to post with dramatics and a bit of flair; whether that be in the form of long quests, simple tasks, romance, battles, etc. I look for a connection between the characters that are interacting with my own characters and like to see how things unfold. RP partners do not have to be on the side of my character and can easily fall into the realm of the enemy. I love seeing the dynamics and the drama unfolding and will throw a monkey wrench to the plot at any given time.

I enjoy the 1x1 Rp for a plethora of reasons but mostly to help build new characters up and move them on to larger Rp’s where they can interact with a full group in various settings to keep things interesting. I am currently seeking Rpers that are 18+ in age with panache. Romance developing in stories is welcome but must not be forced; tension if always a pleasant surprise to see. I prefer original characters without ties or inspiration drawn from Anime or Games. I have just Rped too many of those in the past and enjoy a fresher approach. And prewarning, I like to torture my characters and others, whether that by physical or mental anguish.

The world in which we reside is nothing like that of which we have known. In this world there are three fractions. The Immortals: those born with uncanny abilities, some refer to them as mutants, other refer to them as Gods; however you look at them they are unlike the rest but now live among us. The Government: the body of people and military that run the planet, they are a combination of your average person, some immortals and mostly bio enhanced individuals that are stronger and faster than many had dreamed. The Greys: These are the rare few who fall between the two warring factions and care nothing of the power of one side or the immortality of the other; the underground resistance that will work for either side or for their own devices, as long as they get paid they don’t care.

You are a Grey, what you are is up to you but you will be paired up with a former Assassin turned Weapon Smith that has the unique ability to create items that either side would kill to get their hands on due to the unique and custom created material she is able to forge. A fresh contact that you will be lead to so that you can complete your latest mercenary task that you have chosen to take on, one that you will be made aware of in the center of the Grey Territory at their main establishment known as the Inferno. - Sci-Fi/Immortal Setting

The Nexus

Militaries throughout the world have been known in the past to collect their own personal menageries of various individuals they believed possessed unique characteristics or abilities; funded by the governments they worked for but with a plan of their own. What many do not know is that many militaries work together under the radar of their own personal government for a greater purpose, fueled by greed and power; thinking they can better run a planet than the politicians. Together over the years many people were recruited by these under ground forces in search of a select few. The best each nation could offer and bring them together at one point to help over throw the governing forces through more direct assaults than an all-out war that would decimate the populous; assassins, tacticians, specialists in their fields and more.

The problem began to present itself that many of the greats that they found were so few and far between that they were separated by years, decades and even generations. This posed an issue that seemed to not be able to be overcome. That was until the end of the twenty-second century when Cryogenic Capabilities where advanced enough to subject a select few to testing; to determine of it was truly possible to place these unique individuals on ice for a period of time and reawaken them when they were needed. Built deep into the high cliffs of an unknown mountain range, two individuals were selected for their plethora of skills and abilities; under guard of a complete military base built into the mountain. At its heart lay The Nexus, the cryogenic facility itself.

Along with the cryogenic freezing came a unique opportunity for the scientists, to see if they were able to keep the individuals up to date on the modern technology as it presented itself and teach them even more as they lay in stasis. Did it work? Was it even possible to bring them back? They did not know and because of this they risked losing these specialists but it was a risk they were willing to take. The process is a cruel one and one that they could not test on your average soldier. It had to be a sacrifice they felt was for the greater good. If they failed, they lose them. If it succeeded they could finally begin to put the pieces together in a much larger picture but it would take time.

It has been sixty years since they were locked away in their frozen tomb deep in the mountain, seemingly to remain another forty years until they were awakened and see if they survived; and yet as perfectly as they thought they had planned things out; circumstances change, machines become worn from use and improper upkeep. The world has been torn by war but the Nexus continues but now it is under attack and the cryogenic facility itself has been compromised. Will they awake? If they do, what condition will they be in? And even if everything went as planned, would these individuals be willing to fight alongside those that locked them away so long ago against their will or would they make a break for it and seek revenge? No one knows but the temperature of the Nexus is rising and the staff is too preoccupied with the attack to realize that the brain patterns of those frozen away is now changing. - Slightly futuristic setting

Heaven can be a fickle place for angels and war breaks out more than mortals will ever know. During one such war an angel by the name of Amaranthe fell from heaven but was not transgressions that sent her falling. Injured she fell, blinded by a light from Michael; crashing to the earth below she was found by two young men who were awestruck by what lay before them. Taking and caring for her as best they could so she could regain her strength even though they could not restore her sight.Though they tried, word quickly spread that an angel had fallen and those in the near by village marked her as a demon fallen from God's grace and attacked the small hovel where the men tended to her wounds. Having to fight once more she was able to strike them down and save her saviors. Fearing more would come and unable to see the light home she has wandered ever since, using what Grace she has left to know her surroundings and stay alive. Would you be a mortal infatuated with angels? A hunter of demons bent on removing her from this world? Perhaps another Angel searching to bring her home and restore her sight? Or something else? Find her and let the story unfold, or perhaps she will find you and your own will unravel.

Their eldest daughter is wild and hates these gatherings but because she can hide who she truly is behind the mask she goes and can pass all her attitude off on it wasn't her. You are an elder vampire that is out, mingling with the patrons looking for your next victim or infatuation. But be careful, her family is a lineage of renowned Vampire Slayers, what would they do to you if you took a bite out of their daughter? - Late 1800/ early 1900's

Those are just off the top of my head but surely are not the limits of what I am willing to Rp.

Classic DnD settings, mystery, vampire, vampire hunters, Masquerade balls, Wild West, etc. are always fun. I do enjoy Rping various TV/Movie/Book settings but my tastes are a bit old school and I will throw in references from them and songs into posts and even build Rps around them but with a twist. I hate dull.

I am a high casual to advanced Rper and I like to see such from my Rp partners.
