The Slavers Camp – Group A

Sana nodded to the group as they agreed to take the people back to the village; they needed tending to and who knew what was going to happen on the road back or what was happening in the village itself. She giggled slightly as Lob returned the hug and licked her face, smiling at him. They were a group of people that she had fighting at her side now and she was grateful to them. She hated having to send them back without her, not knowing what lay before them but it was something that she had to do. She really needed time alone, time to bury the past and find a future; whatever that may be.

Stepping over to Lob as he spoke she shook her head and rested her hand on his shoulder. “Please, lead them back to the village and keep them safe. For me,” she asked softly. “They need your strength,” she added as she looked at him. “The rest of the slavers may be headed towards the village and if so they will need all the help they can get,” she admitted as she stood there. Looking over towards Fiona and Vaeri, as well as Drizzak she had a look of concern fall over her features. “Stay safe, be careful,” she said quickly as she stood there.

The forest would be hard to traverse, it would take a couple of hours just to get through the narrow paths with the wagon back to the road itself and then another couple of hours to take the road back into the village. Who knew what would happen on the route. Would they be able to get back without another fight? Sana did not know but she knew that if they did they would need more than just three to get through it. Lob was quick and he hit like an anvil. They needed a tank to help with the speed and spells the others had.

Turning back to Lob she smiled. “Don’t worry, if anything happens I will run. I won’t fight. I’ll stay safe. I will see you all tonight for a much needed drink,” she said with a slight laugh. Sana was not one to drink usually but after the day they had had she knew by the time she got back to the village she would want to drown away any sorrows that were left.

“Oh, make sure to give some of the gold to the apothecary when you get back, I think we are going to need a lot more healing potions if this keeps up,” she said looked back at the rest in the group. “Now, get out of here and get these people some much needed food,” she said before stepping away from them and waiting for them to leave.
@Dragoknighte@Horrid@Luminosity@knighthawk@Afina

Okay group A, please hold posts except for Knighthawk. Need a post for leaving the camp - once Knight posts I will be making a "world" post for group A and give some instructions for the trip back to the village.
@Penultimate_Pi Awesome, looks great! Thankies!!! ^^
Moving to front page and I am restating - Slow posters please kill all bad guys in one post.
Okay, little note for now - Please make sure to read this entire post carefully!

Okay Group B

This is Thunderdome! Two Sides enter - One Side Leaves!

Your rotation and lay out is as follows:

You may post in what ever order you wish and have 1 to 3 posts to take out the baddies. Having said that, we have some slower posters in the group and we have some faster posters in the group. To help keep things even where slower posters are not pressured to post more than they can but to also give faster posters some fun time we will be doing the following -

If you are a slower poster. (Meaning you take more than 2-3 days to post since your last) - please only take 1 round to take out your baddies.

If you are a faster poster. (Meaning you tend to post once a day if you are up in rotation if not more.) - please take your full 3 rounds to take out your baddies.

If any poster would like to help another poster take out stuff, pm them and work out some type of deal to attack one of theirs or if you have a group attack. (mages for example) - and see if it is fine with them for your attack to hit what they are going after.

I am leaving this fight for you to deal out damage to yourself and the baddies as you see fit. Having said that, these won't go down as easy but neither will you. Despite injuries and blood loss from the last fight, and any drink your character consumed (Tobias, lol) - you have somethings working to your advantage that the bad guys don't.

You have a fog rolling in that the baddies do not know how to deal with, so you close combat fighters will be able to benefit from this. You will be able to see 10 feet in front of you, the bad guys (due to certain alignments) - will only see 5 feet in front of them. This gives you a major advantage. (The archers, rangers, spell casters and bard is behind the fog - so they cannot see you at all but they are out of range of the fog, so once you step out of it, they will see you.)

You also have Sister Agnes. You do not have to wait for the end of the fight for her to run to your side to be healed. Call for her midfight if needed! (For those taking one round to post, if in your post you need her, pm me and I will let you know what she will will do via pm so you can put it in your post. Those taking more than one round to post their fight - call her in your post and then wait until I make a post for her to come to your aide.)

Right now in the fight it stands - Bard in the very back, next is the Illusionist and Mage with their respective pets (who will attack to defend them) - They are all defended by a row of archers and rangers - this group is outside of the fog on the edge of town to the south.

All the rest of the bad guys are in the fog! Now, remember what group you called and go for it. I have only posted their initial lay out, the rest is up to you.

1: Main Slaver that Melvus let go on a horse, with sword drawn: 2 archers with long bows: 1 Merc with a long sword and a wolf on a chain @Melkor
2: Thief that Vaeri let go on a horse, with throwing daggers: 1 Mage(Fire based) with a Blood hawk; 2 Bandits (1 with a war hammer, one with 2 throwing axes) @Penultimate_Pi
3: Bandit that Hanzo let go on a horse, with a short sword: 2 Assassins with throwing daggers: 1 Merc with a long sword and a wolf @TheWizardLizard
4: One Beastmaster with a long sword on his back with two Hyena on chains; 2 warriors wielding bastard swords - @Warrior In The Shadows
5: One Illusionist with a large owl, A bard carrying a lute, 2 rangers with crossbows

Slaver/Bandit/Merc/Warriors/Beastmaster - Chain Mail
Theif/Archers/Assassins/Rangers - Light studded armor
Mage/Illusionist/Bard - Regular Clothing - Enhanced with Mage Armor Potion

Group 5 was not claimed but we have a new player to the group. @Goldeagle1221, once you post your CS you may come in from the south and behind the group outside of the fog. (They will not notice you initially because of the fight raging but once you get close they will turn quickly and be prepared.) You have all those listed in group 5

Bill, did not know if you would be back to post for this fight, once you are free to post, let me know and I will pm you will some things you can attack or take care of.

Group A

It is time to leave the slave camp and make your way back to the village. Sana will not be returning with you as you can see. You are free to post in any rotation.

All posters - Make sure there is at least 2 posts from members of your own group between your posts

I think that covers everything, if you have any questions ask here in OOC or pm me. (Please keep comments and non RP talk out of OOC so as much information as possible can stay all together for those trying to formulate their posts.)

And again - Welcome to Thunderdome.

Edit: Bill and I have talked Via PM and he will be in this fight but he will be taking on something that is not listed in the original battle plan. Don't worry, it has been approved by me, so it is all good.
@Penultimate_Pi Totally understandable man, I have 3-4 people in the middle of moves right now between this rp and Kin. Just trying to set up the rp to cater to everyone as it were as far as posting goes. (Not always an easy thing, lol) - Good luck with the move! Hope it goes smoothly, I know they can be a pain. And thank you so much for the post. Grabbing some coffee so I can kick back, relax and enjoy the read! ^^
@Melkor Go ahead and prep away - Just remember to hold post until at least one more member from group B posts since we are under the 2 posts from your group before posting again rotation cycle currently.
Okay, Sister Agnes has done a healing. Group B is still in their pre set format for posts that I posted after my last large post. Sister Agnes counts as a Group B party member for post rotation.
Sister Agnes

Sister Agnes stood there gripping the post where she stood; the song the bard played made her to rush to his allies’ side and heal them. Her finger nails digging into the wood causing lines to be scraped away and the shaving to curl along her hands. Taking a few deep breaths she was able to resist and shake off the effects of the spell. That was not something she had had to fight in some time, thinking back to her time before the convent and as much as she wanted to dwell in a different time than the horror that was unfolding before her it was not time for such things.

The fog rolled in from the alley ways and crashed to the center of the town, covering what was happening for most of the fight. Lowering her head she said a quick prayer, hoping any god or goddess of good would hear her prayers. The group needed help, any help. Turning as she felt a presence beside her she gasped at the sudden appearance of Melvus; it startled her that one moment he had not been there and then the next he had but that wasn’t all of it, the way he looked showed he had not fared so well in the beginning of the fight. Hearing his words she nodded. She had already healed several that day but she still had some healing left up her sleeves as it were and it was time to use what gift she was blessed with.

“Yes, of course, just hold still,” Sister Agnes said in a caring voice.

Stepping over him close, she raised her hands and placed them over her heart as she chanted to herself before moving her fingers to his wounds and a soft warm light began to envelop him. She did not know if he had injuries besides what was visible but she didn’t want to risk not healing him enough so her hands roamed from his face, down his neck and to his chest where the light quickly grew and went over his entire form. As she pulled her hands away he would find that what flesh that had been damaged was not only healed but looked like nothing had happened, no scars remained and bones reformed. She thought perhaps that she had used too strong a healing spell on him but then she looked back at the fog and knew she had not. They would need every drop of blood they could spare in this fight for it was long from being over.

Reaching into the pocket of her habit she pulled out a clean cloth and dipped it into the water trough before ringing it out quickly and placing it in his hand so that he could clean up the blood now that he was healed. As much as he needed the healing he surely needed to clean away the blood so he could at least see at this point.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, could I please get a sound off of who is still in this RP and who is dropped out so I know whether or not to wait on people?
@Melkor It wouldn't stop it, just would make it seem as if the attack stopped right at the edge of the circle but remember it can only fit him and one other and as soon as he moves to do something else his concentration is broken (can't do two things at once as it were with this) - so it will drop if he does anything that isn't giving his full focus to the circle of protection.
