Runari: A race of intelligent wolf like creatures with incredible magical ability they live a nomadic life and are probably the most peaceful
race to exist they also refuse to fight despite having quite a bit of power (Note: They are quadrupeds so they pretty much look like ordinary
wolves except a little bit metallic). Their names are all randomly decided think of anything
Aegyl: These beings can be described as angelic but it would be most unwise to call them so since they are a race of skilled warriors who would
find any excuse to skewer you with a spear (not to mention true angels look nothing like them). their land is the floating land of Ivalice a
beautiful island suspended by powerful magic unfortunately because they have to fly they have hollow bones making them weak to any strong hit.
Their names are all celtic names such as (Gofraidh, Isolda, Duana etc.)
Elves: The well known pointy eared immortal people. They come in practically any variation you can think of (High elves, Dark elves, Wood elves, Sun elves etc.) Their naming conventions vary on the race of the elves but the names are all in a common elven language and are things like
(Elladriel,Gallinor etc.)
Dwarves: The well known short but sturdy craftspeople. They usually live underground where they will usually mine, however dwarves can become warriors and help defend their dwarven kingdom. Their names are all common Norse names (Skorgrim,Ragnar etc.)
Orcs: The well known brutish tribe of warriors. They have no set kingdom and they usually live in tribes. However there are a few orcs that will choose to try become more civilized and leave their tribes. Their names are well…..orcish (things like Kull, Grotshan etc.)
Humans: The well known race of overall balanced ability. They are the most plentiful race, the second being elves, however the numbers are beginning to fall ever since the land was cursed and the Lich rose to power. Their names unless they happen to be humans from some far off land are all old English names (A good source to refer to would be old English stories like the tale of King Arthur)
Felpuur: The Felpuur are a race of sleathly, agile and cunning feline humanoids (Like Khajiit in appearance). They are pretty civilized with few living in tribes.
(Their names are just like Khajiit names
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Khajiit_Names here's a guide to the Khajiit naming conventions)
Demons: Little is know of the demon race except that their appearance is incredibly variant and they can be summoned. They range from
grotesque monsters to near humans. Some may join the side of Lich, some may be on the other side, while others will choose not to deal with what is happening. Their is one really convention to demon names but if one thing is for sure there are no demons named Bob or Fluffy instead think of names such as Malchar or Mesphistopheles you know names that sound interesting.
Goblins: A close cousin and ally to the orcs they are often seen as weak or stupid but in reality they are quite cunning and if they had the
means they could be better rulers than the orcs. Their names are all the same as orcish names
Dragons:Everyone should know of these fabled lizards of yore of great magical and combative ability they all live in reclusive areas outside of
the conflict. Unfortunately the Lich is beginning to reach some areas that contain dragons. I will judge if the name is suitable for a dragon in you application
(apps as with the other really powerful races need to be really good)
Spirits: These creatures are ghost-like and contain very powerful magic inside their souls. Spirits can be of any species, so they will have the same appearance and usually have the features they had when they died, this includes and wounds. However the names are different and are either backwards, in a different language, jumbled up, or a series of symbols that are beyond the pronunciation of any living tongue. If someone finds out their true name they can either destroy the spirit or have it do their bidding.
Ghouls: These undead creatures are weak against fire and can survive the coldest places in the world. They are mostly smart however they can regain some of their IQ by eating their victims organs, mostly brain for the organs give very little than the brain which still does not give much due to most of it being used to help fuel them. Ghouls names are mostly the same as they were living however most of the time their names will be different for they choose to go by a different name when they arisen. Saying that a ghoul will have the basics of talking but it might not be much.
Lizardman (credit goes to madcat)- They humans but they look like lizards. Resemblance to lizards is passing: these lizardmen are warm blooded. They inhabit the swamps and marshes on the outskirts of civilization and have a primitive, tribal culture. Witch-doctors, pagan gods, you name it. If it feels Louisiana Voodoo or Mesoamerican (Aztec, Mayan) it's lizardman. As humanity has expanded they've come more into contact with the primitive lizards, going from unknown to myth to frontier legend to accepted but unfamiliar. Lizardmen are heard about, but most people who don't live on the very frontier of civilization will never have seen one
And any other race you can think of, these are just a few races
