Fluff (or Lore if you want to be more polite and less demeaning) is gamer slang for the histories and colorful descriptions used for a game or game setting that have no mechanical effect on the game's rules.
I'm guessing fluff is gamer slang for people who love games like CoD or the likes that have zero plot or captivating story?

What in the world is that Chinese-writing bot that cropped up twenty minutes ago?
You mean you've been here this long and just now noticed the bots? xD
But yeah, they show up every day around this time. Between 5-7 of them a day. We get a good giggle out of how 'creative' their usernames get. Just check out the Suggestions/Problems area, there's a whole thread devoted to rooting these guys out.

Not being paid is one of the reasons I'm afraid to take commissions. No matter the art, we pour our hearts and souls into our work, and then more often than not, the requestor bails. Now I'm not familiar with your medium, but as for myself with my knit and crochet work, it's easier on me to make something and then sell it. It's probably what I'll stick to. If I did a commission, I'd probably ask for 75-100% up front to check their seriousness.
I really hope your requestor gets back to you and pays you.
