So this is my life. And I want you to know that I'm happy and sad and I'm still trying to figure out how that could be.

I broke my phone. So, now, I have to live like a heathen until I get a new one. #howwillisurvive

Do you ever get so busy that you just can't motivate yourself to get anything done? Apparently, I do.

So being an actual teacher is stressful. Like, do I have to grade your homework? Can I just not?

Heya~
I'm Aims, and I feel like I've been writing my entire life. It all started when my 5th grade teacher did this whole kids-write-books-thing, and it was absolutely awful. So that was, thirteen years ago. Thirteen years. Sweet jesus, that's forever!
I am a 4th grade math teacher, and it is exhausting! RPG is my only hobby, and so I'm here ALL THE TIME. I'm a little obsessed, and it's okay. :)
If you're looking for a partner to RP with, I'm the person. Shoot me a PM at any time, and I'll probably be up for it.
Daryn and Daelyn Lyker 23 years old Knights; Spies for the Rebellion
Daryn and Daelyn share a past that they do not like to repeat. The two of them grew up on a tiny fishing boat which only came to shore to sell its wares. The fishing boat was a relatively wealthy business, and most of their youth was pleasant. The rebellion kept its distance from the four of them, although they understood enough of what was going on. At some point, their mother was asked to come help with the rebellion, because she was from one of the families that founded the rebellion. She did, leaving her children on the boat. At the age of twelve, Daryn and Daelyn watched their mother's execution, hidden behind their father in a crowd of people.
Something in the children sparked as they watched their mother being carried to a pile of bodies. When they turned 18, they both left their father's now failing fishing boat to join the rebellion, with a promise that they would return with enough money to fix his boat, if not buy him a new one. That was five years ago.
When they joined the rebellion, they were thrown into training as blank slates. Daelyn wasn't a fighter; that was easy to see. He had the strength and the size, but he couldn't stand to kill, to see the light fade from their eyes. He was too gentle, too nurturing. Dae became a shy boy, rarely ever talking, cradling animals and babies. Eventually, he was moved to help care for the animals around the base. Daryn, on the other hand, flourished. What she lacked in muscle, she made up for in agility and wit. She was smart, and she could beat any man in a sword fight. Yet, Daryn was rough, crass at times. She didn't know how to hold her tongue or her temper, and often, she found herself in trouble. Daryn cared for Dae like she was his mother though. Protecting him endlessly put a joy in her heart that she couldn't explain. They would often be seen, standing, shoulders touching, just whispering or breathing.
One can tell that Daryn and Daelyn are identical twins. Both of them have brown, ringlets of hair. Daryn keeps it at rest on her shoulders; Daelyn at the ear length. To lesson the confusion, Dae shows a full brown beard. Both adults have bright, sea blue eyes that reflect the very waves of the ocean they grew up on. They are beautiful people, in two very different ways. Since they live as peasants, both of them wear gray tunics that reach about mid-thigh, black pants, and gray ankle height boots. Daelyn wears a necklace that once belonged to his mother; Daryn wears a bracelet made from fishing twine all braided together, a gift from her father.
Lets just get on to it. I'm Aims, and I've been attempting to reintegrate myself back into the RPG world. I took a really long break. Such a long break that I had no idea about the big crash and thought the world had ended when I couldn't get on the website. A few things you should know before PMing me about your interests:
-I do casual to low advanced. A paragraph is at least five sentences. Please. -I am a full time student, and a full time worker. So, I understand if you can't reply everyday. I probably won't even do that. But I try to get on at least once a week, and you can do the same. -I am pretty loose with grammar rules, so I can handle a few mistakes. Just keep the to a minimum. -I keep my roleplays relatively PG-13, simply because I am not comfortable with sex scenes. Blood, gore, all that is just fine, but when it comes to an intimate scene, I would prefer to fade out. -You will see that some of my cravings are within a fandom universe. I just don't do canon. -Can we stick to FxM? Please.
I don't have a lot of ideas, but I will be adding them as I go along. :) PM me, or post here if you like any of them.
Kthanks, Aims!
Themes- -High school -Supernatural (love vampires/werewolves) -Post-apocalyptic -Pre-apocaltypic (I'd fight off a disease for ya. *To the tune of Grenade* ^^) -Genderbent Studio Ghibli. Original-ish plots. I have a few. -Attack on Titan (anime, not manga) -Ouran High School Host Club -Playful Kiss/It Started With a Kiss
Plots:
In an industrially advanced world, there is a new kind of criminal. The kind of criminal the uses science to inject themselves with inhuman abilities, those that reflect supernatural creatures. There new criminals serve as a serious threat to mankind, and when caught, they are thrown into a special prison, as to deter everyone else from following in their footsteps. The prison is an island of exile, filled with animals and nightmares. Its a terrible place, uninhabitable by human beings, and its completely under government control. Worst of all, they drop you into this place with a blank memory, one that retains your name and all your fears, but nothing else.
We are the two most recent inmates of the island. We've been dropped on different sides of the island, with no idea about one another. In some way, we find one another, all the while fighting off the horrors of the forest. We can try to escape, whatever. The plot is ours to figure out as we go. :)
This plot circles around a group of characters (two a piece) who are immortal. No, we aren't vampires. We just never age, and we don't know why. Most of us were born around the decade of nuclear discovery and exploration, and so we think that has something to do with it. The oldest of us, one of my characters, has been traveling the world and searching for each of us, trying to create a group for better protection. Or maybe just to be friends. At last, though, we are all together, four different people from different places, and we find out we are being hunted.
All teenagers are crazy. That's a universal truth. But when you're born with superpowers, you tend to go a little crazier a little faster. Our characters will be two inmates at the local asylum which is really a very nice home for us 'crazy' powerful teens. One question can sum up the plot for this role-play: Why are they hiding us in here?
