Thump.
. . .
Thump.
Enasi sat up in the grass, still low enough not to be seen. The sounds of the slow thumping feet were louder as they got closer. But only after what seemed like four steps, the footsteps stopped. It was one of the main reasons TB was such good transportation. Despite the slow pace, it only took him a few steps to get from place to place. He was such a useful being and such a wise one at that. He watched as the large animal made his way to the center of the clearing before laying down in the soft grass. He got comfortable and then stared directly in Enasi's direction.
"What is the King of Dreams doing in my abode today? I haven't seen you in quite awhile. . .What is troubling you?"
Instead of having a large and boisterous voice, the turtle spoke telepathically. His voice was still deep, but it held the tone of wisdom. As if he himself had experienced the many wonders of the realms. Enasi didnt quite know how long the turtle bus was there, but he did know he was old. His head lowered to rest as he watched Enasi pop out of the grass slowly. TB had sensed the guardian's energy before he saw him, but that was because the large being could detect all sorts of energies. "What makes you think something is wrong? What if I came to say hello?"
"Hello your majesty. . . I can sense your troubled heart. It's difficult for many things to get past me. . ."
Enasi sighed and nodded, sitting on the ground in front of TB. "Well. . . I don't know how to start. Or where to start, so I guess I'd say. . . Everything has been spiraling down since I decided to let Seishu stay to help him heal. I don't know what to do. It used to be perfect-"
"Perfect. That word has slipped your tongue loosely. A perfect world would make everyone in this realm happy. Including yourself sir. That was never the case with you. . . You hid away as a way to escape your issues. . . Or more rather hid those issues away from everyone in order to hide truth. Quite frankly, you have quite a few strong minions here. . . They can handle it."
TB closed his eyes as if telling he was finished, but they stayed closed while he listened. It was quiet for a while and he opened them to make sure Enasi was okay. The guardian was sitting there, mulling over the turtle's words carefully. There was no reason for him to even explain himself. . .as he expected from the old know it all bus. When he finally managed to sigh, he looked at TB again. "How? How do. . . I don't know, I guess let them help? I worry about them. . . And would hate for them to get hurt because of something. . .foolish and manageable for me to accomplish in less time than they can."
