Hah, it is an AU. You should've prepared for the worst when most of the main characters weren't even born/died.

Meanwhile in my siblings world.. This song is oddly catchy

Post is up!
And this may be the last cycle for Utsukushī, so make it count!

Ignore my screw up

Runali simply nodded towards Alicia's thanks. She would have said more, but Ray began to greet her as well. Of course, he had to add his gentlemanly suave, making her wonder if he'd cause the woman to swoon. Though, that didn't seem like her style. And surprisingly enough, she knew how to respond. What an interesting 'legend' she was. The odd pistol Ray pulled out was what she looked at next. It definitely was odd, but Luro bought it so had to be of use....Then again, it looked as if he bought the entire stand. More toys for him she supposed.

Her attention turned to Dani and Nolan as they happily received their gifts. "Awesome, now you're a complete chef. A pirate hat doesn't sound that bad...Maybe I could-" She shook her head, making the hood fall off her head. "I might end up buying more than just a new pirate hat. And I'm glad you like it Dani. I guess I should have gotten two for you." She lifted her hood back over her head. Runali was about to turn to Alicia to speak, but her eye flashed to Luro.

The way he spoke of killing Lily was rather casual. There was something different about him in that moment... She wasn't quite sure what it was, but it wasn't the normal Luro they were so acquainted with. She figured, if he wasn't attacking his own crew then things should have been fine. His reasons were his own, and his past was his past.

Alicia said "I hope this doesn't offend you Captain, but you seem very young to be in the command of a pirate crew. However if your friend Luro here is any kind of indication to the strength of you and your crew, I do not envy your enemies"

The captain crossed her arms and gave a slight smirk. "Believe it or not, I'm the youngest one in the crew- heh, but Dani's the shortest." It came to her realization some time ago when Dani was made official. Now she wasn't the only one that could make use of having Luro as a stool. She looked at her crew and then gave a nod. "We're pretty tough. Small, but a sturdy crew. I'm proud of them." She motioned towards the sea, signalling for them to move it to their ship. As she followed them away, Runali turned on her heel, walking backwards. "You know, someone with your skill would be a great addition to our crew. I wouldn't mind a new face." She looked up at the lanterns that began to light the island. 'A female swordsman. She's good at what she does.... It's kind of sudden to just add more members right after losing one, but...I think she'd fit in.'

"You know, we have another crew mate skilled with a sword. He's on a...temporary leave at the moment. But his name is Kai, most knew him as "The Leviathan". It would be pretty cool to see that fight." Runali was more so rambling to herself at that point. Realizing her crew was walking off, she saluted the swordswoman and hurried to follow after them. "Alright guys, let's try not to get caught up in more vendors." She hopped forward and snagged the last of Nolan's cotton candy. It grew darker and a person stepped out in front of them. Not in confrontation, but because the pirates were technically in the way. Ray would probably recognize her as the woman who snatched him up to dance.

She was in much different attire this time. Runali moved her way to the front of the pack to see what was going on, only to see a woman's dress light on fire. Before the people that were visiting could panic, the flames controlled and died down until her dancing could be seen.

"Whoa..." She watched on in awe for a moment until the woman danced away. "This place is amazing." She mused and then lead the crew to the ship. They had spent the entire day at Utsukushī. Any longer and the crew would be sucked dry of all the money they had. Then again...a few- just a few stops wouldn't hurt as they walked off to the Coral Pearl.
He began to tell his story, and surprisingly enough it started quite far back. But that made sense considering the father of Kuro and Dani had to be. . .old, maybe even older than the Overseer. Even though Kuro's calm voice subdued Aoba's panicking, he still listened with a wide eyed expression of disbelief. He stared into Kuro's eyes, trying to find some hint of a lie, but he never found one. The fallen angel didn't know how to feel about the situation. To think he and every angel up there was being lied to. . . For something that was supposedly just? How come God didn't trust them? They were all loving and devoted to him. . . But in the midst of his panic, another thought crossed his mind. It made him sigh and look down at his bowl.

He stirred the soup before continuing to eat. He didn't want it to get cold. All of the distractions would have caused that in no time. Aoba took another sip and glanced at his graying wings. 'As shocking as the news is. . . There's no reason for me to panic. I'm not- I've been cast down here, so. . . I should just focus on my own problems.' Despite his efforts, he really couldn't get over something like that. It was just too great of a detail to just 'let go'. "Wow. . ." He breathed out and then continued eating. Despite his outward panicking ceasing, his mind whirled and raced, now wondering what else he didn't know. Was there something about angels that he didn't know? Anything more about the demons? Aoba shook his head, slowing his thoughts. "That's. . . Wow." There wasn't much he could think to say at that moment.

So, in an effort to find his speech, he raised the bowl a little. ". . .The food is good." This earned a snort from Dani as he played with his utensil, gnawing on it and watching the fallen angel freak out. It was funny to watch. He didn't see the harm in telling the fallen angel. After all, he was fallen- meaning little hope that he'd be going back up to his pristine little home, at least that's what Dani thought.

Fenrir had similar thoughts to Aoba's going through his mind. He knew some of the older angels and wondered if they knew. He obviously wasn't there at the time of creation, but if he wasn't mistaken, some of them were. Counting suspecting angels, he realized the foolishness of that plan. If he went about asking for information, it would cause pandemonium and the need for answers. It would also raise suspicion towards him. Fenrir wasn't supposed to know this stuff. He wasn't even supposed to have the mirror he possessed. But. . . His parents didn't want the mirror. . . It was a somewhat depressing thought. And it also made him feel a little more guilty.

Fenrir got off his knees and sat in the bed. The mirror laid flat next to him. As he tried to gather his thoughts, the angel looked over at the mirror, now inspecting any changes in the fallen angel- besides his wings.

"I don't understand. . ." Aoba offered to clean up after they had got done eating. He stole the now bent utensil from Dani while he wasn't paying attention. He held the bowls in hand and walked to the kitchen. "If- your dad, is an angel. Or was one. . . How'd he end up dubbed as evil?" Aoba didn't disagree with that though. In his eyes, the things demons did were still less than pure no matter what his status was as an angel. He didn't voice this opinion though. Aoba was sure that was well known.
Enasi watched the chain of events with skepticism and caution. It only got more and more serious when Seishu told the team to push him back. The guardian complied, not wanting to get hurt- or hurt anyone else. His barrier had been tampered unexpectedly with all of the negative energy, so he quickly fixed that before it became a problem. Upon witnessing the large nightmare minion known as Myralyn, he also noticed the other he was carrying. It must've been Jentou. The minion looked dreadful. Worry settled, wondering what was going to happen- or what was happening. It was enough to make everyone tense and move away in fear, so it had to be something bad, even in a nightmare's perspective. The answer Enasi was given was rather sudden. It made his eyes widen and then he cringed. The poor minion was in pain, and even more pain because his guardian caused it. The shock was too much to bear for the Dream Guardian.

He couldn't imagine having to do such a thing to his minions. Putting them in cells was hard enough. Knowing that they had deliberately disobeyed him was enough to break his heart. This form of punishment forced Enasi to look on in horror and then then turn away completely, covering his face. Tears never fell, but there were times that it came close. Those screams couldn't simply be ignored. . . The team, save for Kaila, turned their attention to the guardian they were protecting. They were somewhat grateful to have something to focus on. This was hard for them to watch as well. "Are you alright?" Lan whispered as he leaned a little closer.

"Do you need us to move you back farther?" Ran added in his own whisper. This scene hurt the siblings in such away that it made them closer as a team, and as a family. Neither could handle seeing the other in such pain, and they would make sure it never happened. They knew how to keep each other in line, and even so, both were completely devoted to Seishu. Even as Enasi shook his head towards their help, they stared intently. He didn't appear to be okay, so they weren't taking chances. Tyar reached forward, gently pulling Enasi's sleeve so they were a few more steps back from the situation. It was the closest 'she' had come in contact with the guardian. It was still a little unsettling, but Tyar had followed him around enough to be okay. Heaving a sigh, the Dream Guardian moved his hands to hug his sides and glanced back at the situation behind him.

The screams died down. Minions began to relax. Seishu's rage even settled. Enasi rested a hand on his heart and sighed again. There was not a thing he could say to express his horror and how awful it was. He was just glad it was all over and he could relax. His empathy was going to kill him one day. As Kaila rushed to his brother's aid, the team shifted so Enasi was still protected. He watched as everyone returned to their normal activities. Without hesitation, even the children went back to playing. His eyes followed the rippling water again, only to catch a pair of eyes on him. He immediately looked away and rubbed the back of his head. He didn't know why the large creature was staring at him, but for some reason he didn't want to find out. It only further reminded him how out of place he felt.

Seishu walked back to the team. Enasi's gaze casted off to the side for a moment, only for him to look up in mild surprise that he didn't stand next to him. Enasi could tell by how heavy the air was. . . And when Seishu didn't return to his side, Enasi knew he felt awful. Whether it was his sadness for having to do such a thing, or whether it was sadness for having to display it- whatever it was made him uncomfortable around the Dream Guardian. As they walked in silence, it started to get uncomfortable for him. . . Not in the sense that he wasn't safe, but in the sense that his counterpart was hurting. He couldn't just sit by and let him feel such pain. That was something unbearable. Enasi looked at Lan and Ran on either side of him, one being a little farther up in order to protect his front as well. They could sense their distraught guardian's sadness. Of course they could. But they could do no more than hope for the best. . .

Almost impulsively, Enasi broke away from the team, causing them to tense up. It wasn't safe for him to do something so suddenly. The nightmares around them paused, watching to see what the guardian would do. Enasi ignores the soft attempt to stop him along with the narrowed eyed stares he was given. The Dream Guardian broke away from the team and ran up to Seishu who was a few paces ahead of them. Without warning, he wrapped his arms around his counterpart from behind. His head rested on Seishu's shoulder. For a moment, he didn't know what to say. So he let there be silence. And as if the minions around them could feel it as well, they all got quieter. Some decided to continue on with their activities while others stared, still getting used to the interaction between the two. Finally, Enasi managed to whisper.

"You'll be okay. . . I'm here for you."
Dani looked a little disappointed when Aoba stopped rubbing his wing, but he didn't show that to the angel obviously. He did turn to see Aoba walking off to take one of the bowls on the table. The fallen angel took one of the bowls, and as Dani moved off the couch to grab one, Aoba stole a seat. He sat comfortably with his legs folded Indian style. He began eating quietly, raising a curious eyebrow to the brothers' broken sentences and minor glares. He would have asked what was going on, but he started eating. The fallen angel was more focused on the fact that his new mortality made him a lot more hungry than he was used to.

The two were talking about their dad, who was obviously the ruler of hell and a really bad person. What else was there that he needed to know? Why were they getting so worked up? When he looked up, he found Dani staring at him. Slowly, the spoon went back to his bowl and he waited for the news. He felt something serious about to arise and he didn't want to accidentally spill his soup in shock. The seriousness in the small demon's voice and look worried him a little, but he listened carefully.

A moment of silence hung over as Aoba tried to register what had been said. Half angels. . . ? His Pa- "W-What?!" His voice came out in a slight panic. That couldn't have been true, could it? For a moment, he believed it to be some unfunny joke that Dani was trying to play. He stared at Dani a little expectantly, but the demon began scarfing down the soup as if all was normal. So, Aoba's gaze turned to Kuro, wanting an answer, but he was eating too. "Kuro? Is that. . . Is that true?" It only took a second for Aoba's eyes to widen when he was given a nod.

"But why did he never speak of it? That's- that doesn't make sense. Your dad- since when?!" Dani merely shrugs and licks the bowl, feeling satisfied that he had told. He could leave a the educational stuff to Kuro.

Fenrir practically leapt off his bed, leaving the mirror behind. He rummaged through a few books of his, nearly ripping them off the shelves. "This isn't right. How in heaven's name is that even possible!?" But nothing he had could give him the answer. So. . . Who else knew? What other angel could have known about something so important to their lives and history? Did any of them know!? "Why did he not tell us?!" Fenrir was pacing back and forth, his wings tucked in despite his frantic nature at the time. This was all too much, and nothing was even explained!

It did send him into a minor relief that Aoba had panicked right along with him. It meant the boy wasn't completely turned against him, and it meant that he wasn't being taught too much about the demons race. "Aoba. . . Stay strong."
Wait, did everyone post already? Sheesh...I wasn't ready.

Oh, Winter I'm sending a PM your way!
