"It's me Jess." The dark energy subsided and he rushed into the room, crashing down beside her hugging her, whether she liked it her not. He didn't speak again, he didn't even look at her, he just hugged her and looked at the wall, thoughts rushing through his head so fast he himself didn't even know exactly what he was doing. He took the moment to calm down and think, about his newly acquired powers, just what was going on, ect.
Forbidden love, broken before a word is spoken in its favor. In this one moment Desmond's eyes shoot open, his body enveloped in darkness, his skin crawling. He shoots up with a short scream, more of a yelp and pants. The darkness seeps into his skin, and leaves him in his humanity. He smelled smoke. "Luna?" he looked around, realizing the girl was not in his room. Where was she...? He remembered she ran off, and he got up. His legs were shaky, his newly restored body was still weak, frail. He was stumbling out of his room, unable to even just stand up straight.

He let out yet another yelp as his legs simply gave out on him, but he did not meet floor. When he opened his eyes, he couldn't see himself. He looked everywhere and yet he saw neither hide nor hair of his body. Soon he realized his body had become dark energy in and of itself, and that he was in the shadows of the hallway. He moved and soon he was in Luna's room, nearly instantly, traveling along the shadows unnoticed by even the keenest eye. He looked upon her from his shadow form. He still smelled smoke. Fire. "Jess?" He thought, and nearly instantly he moved from shadow to shadow and ended up in her room.

The flames did nothing to him in this shadowy form, though it was harder to hide as the fire illuminated most of the room as it rose. He moved back to a shadow in the hall and transformed back, before going to the doorway. "What the hell is going on in here?!" He called, his hands gripping either side of the door frame, his lungs coating in black energy, filtering the smoke so he could breathe clearly. "Jess, calm down! You're gonna burn the place down!"
Desmond sat there as precious minutes ticked away. He couldn't take all the waiting, but he just had to. He pretty much was meditating by now, visualizing the dark energy swirling into his body and spreading through his bloodstream, into his lungs, coating his insides black. In ways, this helped, to the point where he was counting the minutes as they passed. Twenty four minutes, exactly... At this point his body was pulling him towards it, ready for him to come back, but even if he did, he'd be trapped in an immobile body for the duration of the time left. So he sat and kept it up.
Desmond nodded, knowing she probably felt stupid talking to a corpse. He wish he knew how he had done that with Luna... being able to appear and talk to her for a bit... He wasn't able to do it again, and he was still confused on how he'd done it the first time. He looks at his body. It was still going just as fast, sucking in quite the amount of darkness in such a small amount of time. It might even be done in the next hour or so... and as he began to question why the suction wavered, and slowed. Adding another thirty minutes to the waiting list. He tilted his head. Was it his will that was controlling this? His wanting so badly to be able to talk to them...?

He thought on it more and as the idea became more tantalizing the drainage of dark energy from the area increased. So it was caused by his will to be back! His want to talk to his friends. He focused, so hard, on just what he wanted to do most. To get back in his body and talk to people, help Luna because he knew something wasn't right... The pull on the surrounding darkness kept increasing, the speed following suit... It wouldn't be long before it was done again, but he could only get it to go so fast... Another 30 minutes to an hour... Much better than a few days... It helped that this place was a freaking cesspool of the stuff, even with the nurses being gone... He started laughing, realizing he's getting a better hold on his powers. And he liked that.

No wait, wrong video

He's gone Kishin...
"Of course..." Kevin mutters. "I'm assuming all of us?" Creed stares at Bob. "..." Neither of them show they are affected by the impressive place they stand, simply surveying their surroundings.

He looks at her and smiles back lightly, at least for now distracted from the fact he just watched himself be semi-eaten. He looked at his body and his eyes almost popped out of his head. The darkness draining from the area, flowing into his body, was insane! It wouldn't take but a few hours for his body to heal if this kept up! He looks for the source, able to wander farther as his bond to his body strengthens, and he quickly finds at least one of the sources.

A lot of it was seeping from the very walls... this was not a nice place to be anywhere near, not at all. With the building, the nurses must also have quite a bit of dark energy, as a location can only hold so much, and if too much builds up it leaks into surrounding living hosts... People all have dark energy. Every little white lie you tell, every dark secret you keep builds up some dark energy inside you. It's the reason people eventually stop feeling bad about them after the first couple of times, enough has built up that it affects how you perceive the world. Depending on the severity of the secret, it could be a little bit or a lot of darkness for each one.

And some people are just born drenched in dark energy, evil people who hold only destruction in their hearts. Desmond has learned to avoid these people, or if he must tolerate them he never trusts them. He looks at his friends when he returns, knowing they must at least have a few secrets, and thus have at least a little dark energy. He wondered how much they did have... He also wondered if taking some of the darkness from the nurses will mean that they will be at least a bit nicer... He didn't know, but what he did know was that this place... it wasn't good...
