Desmond, just about to take Jess up on that challenge, heard the commotion and got up, racing off to see what it was. Upon seeing the two girls fighting he growls and points his hand between the two, at the ground, moving his hand up. A wall of darkness formed between them, small enough to go around, but when they tried it moved to block them, always fast enough and making itself just long enough to keep them separated. "Are you bitches crazy?!" He snapped, glaring at both of them in turn.

"A trick." Desmond says. "Can't find a catchy name for it. I'm not taking these pills anymore..." He watched the events with Tori and Susanoo and sighed. He seemed to be mostly watching Susanoo... Something had interested him...

"Could have fooled me, princess." He said, putting emphasis on the 'princess', smirking. If she called him pretty boy again he'd keep calling her that. He went as if to take the pills, but when he opens his mouth the inside is coated with black and his mouth clamps shut. He swishes them around in his mouth a bit before spitting out a ball of blackness, the pills held inside. He shook it and the pills clacked around, before he slides it into his pocket.

"Desmond, two things: 1) nice outfit, you see a cute boy?~" she teased poking his cheek. "Two," She punched his arm lightly. "Don't do that again." She said and grinned as she took a bite from her food. "I'm glad to see ya in one piece."

Desmond looked at her and smiled, lightly. "Heh, you too... Also..." He smirks, his voice lowering to more of a whisper. "The shadows told me about your attempt to seduce Luna..."

The boy nodded to the nurse and ate, slowly, surveying his surroundings. He caught Tori's eye and he winked, smirking. Otherwise he just looked around disinterested in just about everything, looking once or twice at Susanoo, and surveyed him, but otherwise he just ate. He didn't look at Jess, or acknowledge her in any other way.

A shadow flickers across the room. Desmond raises his hand as well, sitting next to Jess now. He has an entire plate of his favorite food and his eyes seem different, the light brown that had been so vibrant now dulled to a dark brown, nearly black. His apparel has changed as well, every piece of clothing as black as the night sky, from his tucked-in dress shirt to the pants and shoes, his gloves were fingerless and his hair was black as well, no longer brown. He spoke in a lazy tone, as if he just rolled out of bed. "I'm right here Nurse Ann." He said, probably surprising the girl beside him and the nurse. It was like he came from nowhere, emerging from the shadows... Where the nurse was looking only a few minutes before.
