"Oh I'm sorry Desmond, you see, I've lost my memories and I can't remember a thing. So I've been trying to remember little by little. " Branch said looking at the cookie and quickly munching it down while gulping down the Hot Chovolate.

Desmond blinked and sighed. "It's not the weirdest thing that has ever happened while I'm around... Well, how can we jog your memory? Got any ideas?" Desmond looked at him and was scratching the back of his head absentmindedly, trying to come up with a solution to the problem.
The vampire laughed heartily, looking back at them. "I'm doing this so you fools don't get lost. Follow the light my pretties~" He laughed some more and kept walking, only talking to warn them of ledges they have to climb, pits that lead to plummeting to death, ect. The vampire was leading them away from one entrance and to another. As he approached this he heard the sound of gunfire and smelled smoke. The vampire sighed. "More foolish humans... Death looms closer for them..."
The firefight in the firelight (Eh? Eh? Anyone?) would not last long. Before a shot could hit either side of the conflict, a shadow flickered across the light that was cast by the fire. One of the nameless gunman was swallowed up in shadow, pulled to his death. A short cry gave way to a horrible snap, signifying the breaking of the neck. The humans would not get long to react. Soon, a figure fell upon the second gunman, from seemingly nowhere, a stone axe cleaving the man's skull in two, blood splattering onto the ground. The man standing before Kraven licked the blood from his axe momentarily, before looking at Kraven. He looked mostly human, but he stinked of death and evil, and his hands and feet had long, sharp claws. The man opened his mouth, far past it's usual breaking point, sharp teeth glistening in the light of the fire, and let out a bloodcurdling screech, human in nature but inhuman all the same.
Dimitri heard the screech, for it still rang fresh through the cave, echoing throughout it, and the vampire flinched from the sharp sound hitting his sensitive ears. "Damn... Wendigos are on the hunt now... You two won't live long if they catch you... Filthy cannibals..."
Sorry! I thought I posted before but it appears the site bugged out!
Creed and Kevin followed her through the portal, and upon reaching the other side Kevin surveyed the surroundings. The place smelled of blood and reeked of agony. He had been to places like this one, but never one as hellish. He found himself averting his eyes from the souls that remained, unable to look at them. It actually sickened him, which was quite the feat, seeing this place. He didn't like that Mia was willing to drop them all into a pit if it got her across and not give any fucks. He liked it a lot less, when he saw what this girl did to these people. Sure he was a bit twisted himself, but this was a completely different level of crazy. 'this bitch is fucked up!' Oh, now he gets it. I was wondering when he'd figure this out... he didn't really know Mia. At all.

Creed, on the other hand, found it... grand. He took in a large whiff of all the smells, death, turmoil, fear, blood, he could smell the very emotions of those caught by Mia, as each one was more concentrated then the last. Out of all of the above, there was a crushing feeling of hopelessness about the place that he found absolutely... amazing. For the short walk, he preferred to run. He ran around like a kid in a zoo, and he loved every exhibit. Clarent, in his sheathe, shook lightly. He smelled the blood as well, and he sensed the agony, the misery, the utter hopelessness. He had no idea where the girl Creed had followed had brought them, but he was impressed. He had been the instrument of many civilizations' destruction, and in his wielders' insanity, many of them had made many torture chambers, whatever you want to call it, and they all made ones more brutal than the last, but this wasn't brutal... it was just plain art.
Creed and Kevin looked at the girl named Crow, seeming perplexed about something. Clearing his throat, Creed asked the question they were both thinking. "Miss Crow... Do we know you?" The two men couldn't think of any time where they could of met her... Were they drunk or something? Nah, they both thought at the same time, there's no way...
Desmond blinked, looking at Susanoo. "Hey... I believe we've already met... I'm Desmond, don't you remember me?" He then remembered their earlier confrontations and found himself blushing. What. The. Hell?! "I saw you when we were doing chores... I thought you were mopping, then you ran off..." Desmond sipped his hot chocolate, enjoying the taste.
The worm wailed in agony, as it's insides were torn to shreds, and as the worm was still just below ground the dark blades breached the surface, making a hole from which dirt, orange blood, flesh, etcetera exploded forth. The beast lay in the large hole, dead, exposing Azazel once more to the air of the night. As Azazel is exposed, he senses a force of which Maria had likely already sensed. It emanated power and demanded fear, and they felt like some kind of pressure was threatening to strangle them. Whatever now moved among the trees, it would not go down as easily as the beasts before it.
"Good that you two understand now. You aren't looking to live, you're looking for the quickest, least painful death at the end of whatever life you can scrape out here." The vampire then began walking, his fingertip illuminating once more, being like the lure of the angler fish, drawing the two humans to follow it.

Nurse Ann finished with the hot chocolate, and purred on how good it smelled. Mmmmm hot chocolate!, she yelled in her own mind. She passes everyone a cup of the delicious beverage, "No problem Desmond." She looked down at her watch and curses under her breath with a small growl. "Come on kids let's go sit next to the fire." She said with a small smile while walking to the living room. She didn't know it was almost time! And she can't be late this time, or she will be in deep trouble. They even gave her a one warning.........maybe three warnings. But she didn't like going, just by thinking abou it made her uneasy and the hair on her neck stand up a little.

The cogs in Desmond's minds were still working that he didn't notice any of Ann's behavior and went to the living room with his hot chocolate, sitting a ways away from most of the other kids. He hadn't even noticed that again he had shrunk, down to his 15-year-old body. He just sat there and pondered into his glass of hot chocolate, not chancing a drink with it being fresh and hot. He kept his head low, his mind working overtime thinking of things he had seen. He tried so very hard to remember his meeting... his actual meetings, wondering if he would be able to crack the illusion they put over him.
Desmond took one of the cookies and smiled, yet inside his mind he kept thinking, what to do, how he would do what he was thinking of. He took a small nibble of the cookie, eating the one very slowly, inside his mind going over things he knew, what he didn't know, things he needed to know and things he wanted to know. Through his smile he studied the newcomers and surveyed the surroundings, the wheels in his head turning. He looked at nurse Ann and smiled. "Wonderful cookies, Nurse Ann, thank you."
Kevin sighed, as Creed just stood there and gnawed on a small rock that radiated with the heat of a lava flow. Kevin stepped a bit away from him; he hated those damn lava rocks... They both watched the proceedings with mild to no interest. 'Seriously, this shit happens too often...' they think simultaneously and look at each other, as if mutually agreeing through some kind of telepathy that this whole 'defeat the next enemy' and 'who's life is on the line this time?' thing is starting to get old... Couldn't they just find some peace and quiet? And yet... They both grinned, and for a once-in-a-lifetime moment Kevin unveils his own marred mind, on par with Creed's own. There was one simple reason they didn't just turn around and walk away from this... menagerie of insanity. One plain, simple reason they didn't just say 'fuck this' and go do something else. It was just so fucking FUN!
