This account is pretty inactive now. But I pop on from time to time to see if anything of interest pops up. I tend to drop out of things with writers block if I find myself lacking in interest, but do try to keep things long=term. Been offline for most of the last 12 months but hoping I might soon find something to get me back in that RP saddle.

Sorry for the delay, my head hasn't been in the right place for the past few days. Hopefully what I've written is ok.
Akira awoke to a dimly lit room, the walls merely added to the darkness as they'd been scattered with darker browns, black and purple colours. Stretching his arms and legs out he turned onto his side to look at the room bewildered by it. This was a lot different to what he was expecting to wake up to. Certain items appeared to be missing and others moved, the bookcase seemed a lot larger than he could remember and was jam packed with books and tomes. Aside from this there didn't appear to be many personal affects.

Still confused from his surroundings Akira got up from the bed, walking over to the most obvious furnishing of the bookcase. Tales and Titles that he knew of but did not own, and others that he'd not heard of albeit intriguing populated the shelves as Akira run his fingers across the spines. There was a particular book that grabbed his attention as he stopped and pulled it from amongst the others, there was no title or cover, it was just blank. With a sign Akira opened the book to see nothing but blank pages through out. "What's the point?" He questioned as he shut the book once more. As he put the book back he thought he noticed a flicker of text on the spine 'Your Story' however its fleeting existence only made Akira believe he had imagined it up.

Despite the strangeness of it all everything seemed to be positioned in a way that Akira would probably have things were he to have the choice, clutter furniture that served no purpose was gone, a small table by the bed containing photo's from his past in small frames. But leaning against those frames appeared to be a mask. Akira picked it up, yet another confusing item this was something he definitely did not own. It was definitely interesting, Akira felt somewhat drawn to it as he lifted it up to his face, it felt weirdly comfortable fitting perfectly against his face. It was almost as if someone had been following him and had made the room specifically for him to occupy.

Akira pulled the mask away, as the clock finally drew his attention. Sat beside the door, in this near silent location the chime of its operation had finally worked its way into Akira's tired head. He approached the clock tilting his head to the side, this wasn't something he'd choose to own... wait is that, music? Akira went to open the door only for his foot to kick against it and his head to softly bounce off of its surface as it refused to budge. He grunted in annoyance of what had just transpired as he took a step back. All he could do now was wait right? To see if the situation would change maybe? Akira contemplated to himself as he sat on the floor next to the clock, as close he could get to the door as he just continued to observe the room, waiting to see if anything were to change once more.
Nah I'm ok. I got an idea of where I want things to go generally in this town I just need to fit the blocks together. I think that Allura stepping in and stopping it is more true to her characters nature. The idea really was a short fork of either, Volkran went all out on the guy outside or would be pissy at Allura for stopping it. :P I think about these things a lot.
Ugh... sorry it so short. Ended up with writers block at the end of that second paragraph and stared at the screen for half hour trying to think what to write. But it's something I guess?
Akira sat waiting for an answer, though it would be more fair to say Volkran was pulling the strings on this situation. He was rather on the fence on whether he thought this man had the spine and gal to accept the challenge or not. But then, Allura interrupted them and used a rather persuasive tactic to get the person to leave. Volkran growled softly as the man walked away. "Well saying you won't get into trouble isn't the same as saying you're not going to have fun." The demon hid its voice behind Akira's so as to not draw any attention. "Speaking of which, you... ruined mine..." The demon hissed almost unmasking itself to the patrons as Akira's voice almost lapsed over to Volkrans. Akira shook his head roughly before looking to Allura. "Sorry about that, seems he wants to be lively in here. Ah yes the rooms." Akira responds to Allura, as he slides one of the keys over to Allura. "Fancy adjoining rooms, wouldn't know why they'd give me those." Akira said with a chuckle. "I guess though in a town like this they probably get a few of those types coming through here."

Akira took a swig of his drink as he looked around. He had the feeling as though someone was watching them, though he couldn't tell who or where from, the place was too filled out for figuring that out at least. "So..." He pushes the thought to the back of his mind. "We got the rooms for at least two nights. Though I guess there's no real rush to make a move. No one here seems to know who we are which is good. We'll scope out these guilds tomorrow need to get a grasp on who operates out of this town. What do you think?" Akira wanted to make sure that Allura was comfortable with the idea of taking things slow in this town, at present they had no real urgency to get moving or leave given their current anonymous identity to the city. "Could do with finding some paid work." Akira spoke slightly concerned. "Otherwise this taverns prices will bleed me dry in a couple of days. Speaking of which, has their ever been anything you've always wanted to do? Town like this sure to be somewhere you can get yourself into it."
Akira had taken his time in Aiya simply trying to was as much of it as he could before having to head home. He would spin from side to side on the stool as he watched the other diners come and go. No one of any interest had showed their face in Aiya today, hell the most interesting person he'd seen in town was likely that card reader, Samuel. Thinking about it, Akira recalled a strange sensation like a tingling on his spin as he left. Then again it was so faint it was more then likely something of nothing. The boy simply shrugged the thought off deciding it was time to leave. He slid off the stole into a stroll as he waved a halfhearted farewell to the owner.

The streets had grown tired in the evening, most people were either heading home or for the bar. There wasn't really a whole lot that seemed to happen around here at night, something that Akira had quickly learned when he'd moved here a year ago. Akira shoved his hands into his pockets as he began the uneventful walk back home. Arriving back at the house wasn't exactly anything to look forward to, he wasn't particularly attached to his Aunt and Uncle and with their work patterns it wouldn't be surprising to find the place "Empty..." Akira spoke softly as he opened the door and flicked on the lights. Akira simply gazed around as he walked on over to the kitchen pulling the usual note of the fridge. He skimmed over the contents, something about food that he could eat if he was hungry. "No thank you." Akira commented to himself as he screwed the note up and dropped it into the bin.

With no reason to stay downstairs Akira headed up to his bedroom. It bared the very few essentials and things of his that he had managed to gather together before moving to Inaba. His pride and joy of a book collection vastly overpowered everything else in the room, a console sat on the floor in front of the TV gathering dust, he had so few games that he wondered why he even bothered to keep it. Akira drops his backpack down on the ground and casually grabs a random book from the shelves, heading over to his bed. He turns the book round reading the back cover before deciding that his random choice had satisfied him and begins to read it.
Sorry it's been a combination of extremely hot weather here and I've been busy the past few days I'll aim to post tomorrow, hope that's ok. ^_^
Akira reluctantly let Allura go as he watched her disappear into the crowd in an attempt to find a table. Well at least it should hopefully reduce the overall time of this experience. He turned in the direction which should eventually lead him over to the bar as he slid and shimmied passed groups of people within the tavern. Where necessary the young man would push his way through, ensuring to not be too top heavy as to set off a brawl. He would occasionally pass someone at the wrong moment, merely to be greeted by a drink infused belch, which would generally return a look of disgust before he continued. When he finally made it to the bar he leaned on the counter and waited. Several workers rushed about between patrons to offer service and take orders. It seemed almost as chaotic as the original streets him and Allura had walked on here.

Some time would pass before a worker would eventually come over to Akira. "Greetings Sir, what can we get you?" Akira had almost completely spaced out in boredom, shaking his head to regain some concentration. "I need two rooms, for at least two nights. Tankard of ale, and whatever wine you can muster up."
"Certainly Sir, and the names for the rooms?"
"Akira Shadow and Allura Brown." Akira replied as the worker gave him a strange look, for a moment before going about fulfilling his request. First the bar worker pushed two keys over to Akira. "A-1 and A-2, adjoining rooms sir." A few moments later the young man had returned with the drinks. "Plus an Ale... and a Bloodwine. That'll be 20 gold please sir."
20?! who are these rip off merchants! Akira thought to himself before shoving the small coin bag over the counter and grabbing the drinks.
"Enjoy your evening and stay sir!" The bar worker called out as Akira once more disappeared into the crowd.

This was not a very successful way of getting around, Akira desperately tried to defend their drinks as he weighed his way passed the patrons once more trying to spot Allura amongst them. "Where has that Angel gotten to?" Akira mumbled whilst glancing around. He spotted a dagger board out the corner of his eye and had to resist the temptation of being drawn in by it. He continued to pass by patrons and was looking for Allura for a good few minutes before he spotted her across the room sliding herself into a booth that had just become vacant. But it would appear the manner in which she'd claimed it had drawn the attention of others looking for a place to sit, and it didn't seem like it was going to progress in a particularly nice manner.

Somewhat panicking Akira became more forceful and hasty as he tried to close the gap to where Allura is spilling part of his own drink down himself as he momentarily stopped and looked down at his now ale soaked armour. "Bollocks" he responded vulgarly to his own predicament and by the time he was close enough to Allura to be in talking distance it would seem that the situation had escalated to a rather intimate level of violence. Akira smirked as he casually walked over and slid in at the other end of the booth. He placed both his and Allura's drinks down on the table before lifting his tankard and taking a sip. His eyes fixed on the man that Allura had the blade turned on. "Let me guess..." Akira placed the tankard back down. "You thought you could throw your weight around because she's a young woman? Well I can tell you she's as good with a blade as she is beautiful. I'd suggest you leave." Akira spoke calmly and casually as if this situation was something of a typical occurrence. "Unless." Akira taps his hand on the edge of the table. "You want to settle this outside... 50 gold says you can't put me down. What do you say?" Akira looks to Allura and his eyes flicker red for a moment as he smiles. The young man fiddles with his pockets and coin pouches before dropping a bag down on the table. "Plus your chances are better against me then the lady, I mean you barely raised a hand and you now have a blade to your throat. Whereas me? Crossbow, sword, even daggers. Do I strike you as someone who knows what they're doing?"
I'm alright taking a short break, too hot for me to think straight at the moment. Just let me know when you need me to jump back in and where I should be heading :P
As Akira walked away he heard what Tomomi called out to him, he stopped for a moment as he shook his head and rolled his eyes before continuing on to his destination. The rest of the way to Aiya he avoided the locals not wanting to get dragged into idle chit-chat and gossip. The way people would stop and chat about complete irrelevance was beyond his comprehension and he'd rather have no part of it. Once he reached Aiya he stopped for a moment to savour the smells barely escaping the building, a small smile on his lips as he pushed open the door and walked inside.

It would appear most students had better things to do as Akira was able to nab himself a stool at the counter surprisingly secluded from other patrons. He gently swayed himself from left to right as he waited patiently for his chance to order for which he just casually replied "The usual, please." Akira had frequented the restaurant on numerous occasions whilst living in Inaba, it was probably his most favourite location, when it was quiet at least. Though the usual would typically be referring to whatever the daily special was, he craved the opportunity to attempt the rainy day challenge once more, and eating the daily specials could be considered consumption training. With nothing better to do Akira resorted to tapping his fingers on the ledge of the counter as he observed what the other patrons had chosen for their meals, making mental of notes of 'maybe I should try that sometime' on anything that seem partially appetising.
