How does building up to a grand finale where vampire characters seek out 'heroic looking' soldiers for 1v1 in the middle of a massive battlefield sound?
"Nearly." Hale comfortably fell down on a sofa while Magnus gracefully took a seat.
"He's on a vision quest or something."
"We have the information we want. I left him stuck in his own mind. I gave him a cocktail of drugs that'll.. change a man.
If he survives he'll might be more talkative or useful. Or he'll be completely broken insane. That'll also be entertaining."

It was visible in Magnus's eyes how much he delighted in the idea of placing someone on the edge of oblivion and standing back to watch which side they fall. An exquisite satisfaction that eclipses that of simply throwing one over the ledge.
"Now my suggestions based on our little chat. We should draw Purge out, trick them into trying to ally with SOLDIER again.
Then we lure them into all out open warfare. When they throw all their money on one bet. That's when we introduce Kami's weakness and crush him outright. Visible for all to see. Then us oldbloods emerge hidden from the ranks to swiftly deal with any hero who tries to rally them.
When no one dares be the hero anymore morale will be crushed. We should make sure we have a shot to not only publically execute our direct threats, we'll also capture those too frightened to resist."

"Cute, but bagging Kami. How?"
"The thing Martin noticed, the obvious weakness in his armor, as high tech and complex as it is. His weakness is his armor, he's dependant on it. And you know what happens when you get near cool newfangled toys like that?"
Hale grinned wide and spoke with joyous sarcasm.
"Oh but that's not fair at all."

Meanwhile in stranger places.
Martin struggled forward past the hills, each higher than the last.
Each vally wider. Up and down.
Martin didn’t stop, rather than tired he was hazy. He felt like the world would crumble away under his feet if he stopped walking.

In the distance he saw a monolith standing tall. Upon aproaching it he discovered it to be his own phone, imposing it stood in the tall crimson grass. The class screen showed an obsidian reflection of Martin. It grinned a vile smile at him, revlealing an empty stare and small sharp teeth. In reflexive rage Martin lashed out at the screen, as did his reflection. Where their hands met the glass shattered. Falling glass left only a hollow metal ring in the shape of the phone’s outer casing. Through it a portal leading to a table standing in a clearing in the woods. Automatically Martin stepped trough.

A dark forest made of ivory trees brandishing crimson leaves above red undergrowth.
In the middle of the clearing, around the large table a group of figures were seated.
Cloacked in a haze of dreams each absorbed with some elaborate tea ritual. All of them seen by the eye were their pale hands.
The one seated at the head of the table stood up and took his hood of his head.
Bright white dreadlocks and equally pale eyes stared at Martin.
Martin’s mirror immage gestured at the empty seat on the other side of the table while pouring blood from a teapot in a small cup.

"̢̀͡ Welcome Martin. So glad you could finally make it. Please sit down, we have so much to discuss. "̸̶̴͠
The concepts in and off themselves are different, but we have Carver, Furnace and Alula all listening to words from elsewhere.
What?
Six days?!
>.>
This is what happens when you travel to Japan and get lost amongst all the anime stuff >.>

you are currently asleep in a camp further away from the village, everyone but the oracle is there.
furnace is asleep in a nearby bead, exact location unspecified.
Furnace felt tired. His eyes weary and movements slow he looked around.
He stood before the tent Kelvin and Separ had helped him build.
Carver and Vis were standing near the fire seemed to be discussing something called a watch.
Furnace didn't care, he felt like lying down. He saw how someone had draped the other girl on the soft cloth.
Thinking this a good idea he fell asleep on a bed in his tent.

Slowly he drifted away back into the darkness, like he had many times before.
"You did well this day." The voice echoed trough the void.
Furnace remained silent.
"What did you feel when you released your negative energy?"
"I felt cold."
"You will get used to that, like the heat of the fire."
"Will I need to hurt more people?"
"There's more to the nature of the dark current, you are close to finding the taster of smiles."
The two were silent for a while, time passed while nothing else did, as there was nothing in the void.
"I had a question."
"Yes my mentee?"
"I saw a new form of energy today, it emanated from the steel giant I've come to known named Carver. The brilliant patterns, I can still conjure them in my mind."
"What you've seen is divine energy, the man must have been a target of some powerful spell cast by a divine creature."
"Divine?"
"As you know there are many ways of categorising the creatures that dwell here.
Some are mortal, like you and your new friends. And some are creatures from other places or planes even.
What you've witnessed was likely something from the higher planes of good and or order, though I could only guess at it's exact orgin and strength."

"Where are you from then?"
"I think that's enough questions for tonight."
i think this is the point we go to bed. i'll write a post in which furnace goes to sleep in a minute.
This looks like a nice place to put a wall of text.
Martin's descent into madness will be continued.
Martin woke up again. The bright led light stung in his eyes.
Trough blurry vision he saw the slightly frustrated faces of Magnus and Hale.
"How are we supposed to torture you for information if you keep checking out like that!?"
Looking down he saw some cuts and bruises, they still hurt. He would be long dead before they would get to the creative stuff.
"Have you considered asking?"
Magnus grinned, a chilling reminder of his monstrous nature flashed with sharp teeth.
"I have a better idea."
Procuring a small bottle and needle he injected a ominous looking liquid in Martin's restrained arms.
"What's this supposed to be, truth serum? I already explained that- oh.. I see."
Martin trailed off mid sentence as he saw the room wave and colours flicker.
Out of the fog that rest in the room the hand of Magnus shot forward, tightly gripping Martin's forehead.
Martin's conciousness wavered, images seen and images of his minds making flowed together.
He found himself standing unrestricted, on rolling plains of flowing crimson grass. The sky above a stormy copper sky.
The horizon set with crucifixes.
Above him in the skies a giant demonic face looked down upon him. As twisted as it was, it was clear to be Magnus staring into his mind.
"What is your name?"
Before he could react the world around him whispered the word in instant reaction.
Martin.

"Where and how did you acquire the 'sun stone'?"
Martin looked around, expecting an answer to come from everywhere but him now.
After a slight pause the answer was heard.
You mean the Exile Stone.
Memories seeped out from the grass and manifested in sounds, images and smells.
They showed Martin driving in a car with Void. They spoke of similar concepts the other vampires had heard from Martin in England.
Martin picked up a package at the curb in front of a small cottage in the middle of nowhere.

"Who do you work for?"
Imediately a rush of memories erupted from the fields, answering the call.
No one.
An unnamed organisation.
A collector. The foundation.

Someone who wishes to see both races survive.

Along with more visions of Martin picking up and delivering packages, answering phone calls, talking to people, travelling...

Magnus looked irritated. In the distance he heard another voice intrude.
"Try and get the info in that Purge guy you fought, no reason fighting fair next time right?"
The head of Magnus noded. "What is Onikage's weakness?"
"Who"
Flickering lights restored memories of Martin watching Hale bust trough a stone pillar. With every swing the camera's wore down further till no images were left.
A constructed image showed of Onikage in conflict with Hale. Rapidly and one after another circuits burst and engines would give out. Before Hale would have gotten a chance to land a blow Onikage was would stand frozen. Stuck in his high tech, but ruined armor.

An intrigued look showed on Magnus's face.
"This little mortal has a surprising understanding of you and how your abilities work Hale."
"What the fuck are you talking about? Spying on him spying on me! Get to the question."
"I got my answer, I'll explain later. One more question then.
Who are you?"

The question made the ground shake and rumble. As if the act of Martin questioning his existence made the realm around him unstable.
Martin wanted to speak, answer with a story about culling the herd, or sell himself as a salesman of information.
But no words came to him, he felt compelled to answer but the more he sought the stranger thing became. Was it not a simple question?

"Well, that question put him out for the count." Magnus laughed as Martin's head dropped lifelessly beside him.
"D'ya killed him then?" Hale looked at the bound mortal in a cold manner of factly way, as if inspecting ingredients for a soup.
"Nothing so simple. He'll be stuck in his own mind until he finds an answer to the question. No one comes out of that with all of himself intact."
They left the torture room and broken little Martin alone. Done with the matter at hand. On to whatever else there was to do.
"So we just leave him there? Not even going to take his eyes out or anything. Eh, maybe later. So what kills the super ninja?"
"Patience barbarian. I'm not going to explain it twice and 'our new leader' (he said the words with mockingly added drama) would probably like it heard first hand.
Magnus knocked on the door of Mo's private room.
"Hello there, how are preparations going?"
Should we timeskip to where they find each other on the way to Bitterbourne? (great name)
"The harvesting" is going to be a thing
