Okay, I'm back. Read up on the game, I like where this is going.
Hank put himself in a dangerous situation there, facing his sire as a fledgeling.
Plus Bedivere is likely around. But Hank doesn't know that.
I like that he's refusing the blood. Does that mean he hasn't taken human blood since his turning?
That's a whole month, an impressive feat of willpower. It fits Hank I think.

Another note. An often forgotten use of a vampire's strength is the access to otherwise unwieldy weapons.
So a vampire could handle a full auto shotgun one handed like a human would a sawed-of shotgun.
In your character sheet you mention greater strength than other vampires. He could get away with shit like mini-guns or the godless abomination of military science that Hale is running around with.
So look out for a chance to upgrade.

So I assume things are about to get hairy at the Soldier base. Kayta and Allison would hear the alarms of they weren't following Mithias and Bedivere. I wonder if Magnus has any telepathic contact with either of the two vampires?

That is a good idea. I'll write up a post soon.
Aurumancy: An act of prophecy or divination using gold as a focus.
I.e. making predictions on the movements of stocks and market prices, tossing coins to fish for visions of financial future.

Furnace has drawn the conclusion that Astaroth is clearly a money wizard.
Furnace had nodded and stared into the sunrise while his new friends discussed complex theories of trade and commerce.
He could barely follow the story but the gist of it seemed Kelvin and Vis testing the new man on the subject.
Perhaps they needed to measure his abilities? The new man's words were fast and impressive. His knowledge of movements of gold seemed extensive.
It was clear he intended to boast his talent, even when Furnace couldn't really catch on to what exactly the talent was.
He would trade for them? Furnace had already learned how that went, but he had not heard anything this complex.
This all sounded like a school of magic he'd never heard of. One specialised in reading the movements and fluctuating values of gold?
That would be..

Aurumancy?

Making this man an Aurumancer.
Impressive.

"Uhm... Can you explain your spells in a way the uninitiated understand."
I'm going to be offline for the weekend. (larp)
I'm bringing my phone but highly doubt I'll have a connection there, or time for it.
I'll be online for a couple of more hours, but i'll be gone tonight.
Celestial body.
The voice had used the word celestial before. To describe frightening creatures from other worlds.
Furnace attempted to follow the man's words, but as many of them were alien he drew some hasty conclusions.
"Good thing there's these telescopes. This place would be dark and cold without those light sources in the sky."
The sleepy girl had awoken and confirmed the man was knowledgeable. So furnace asked his questions.
He pointed at the big orange orb lazily escaping the mountain-peak's grip and slowly ascending.
"The impressive one is the sun? Cause I can see what that's made off."

See you guys monday.
Furnace looked at Carver like he couldn't understand a word he said.
She. Love. Bless. Children. Sun...
"Who is the sun?"

Would you like me to change it? It would be no trouble.

I guess best would be to change the first bit a little, that he barely slept after waking carver and going to bed.
Maybe something about him thinking he's dreaming awake because he swore he saw a little boy lie next to Carver.

Carver went to sleep you see, I never woke him up because i stayed up.

I'll change it if you like, guess I posted without reading closely.

but. there was a timeskip til morning.
<Snipped quote by akje>

I don't think so, Vis needs no sleep! Until he collapses, which will be soon.

Does that mean he refused Carver when you change watch?
Is there a problem with the way it's written now?
