♦According to Elysia, her drawings are simply that. Plain average drawings that shouldn't cause as much fuss as they tend to. To others, they almost appear to take a life of their own. When they say that a picture can say a thousand words, well it's quite true with Elysia's works and even a little more. She started young drawing in coloring books as a coping mechanism to deal with her anxiety. She would spend hours of her day drawing in these books running through so many of them so quickly. She quickly upgraded to blank canvas' putting her all into them. She doesn't find them all that impressive, but that is because she already knows how she feels and what is in her heart and mind. Some have described looking at her art as if they were having a conversation with the girl and that's her gift. Like how an expert musician can play someone to feeling certain emotions or an actor can move someone towards the same thing, Elysia can convey her emotions through her artwork and have a better conversation with them this way than using her phone or writing ever could.

Despite this, she tries her best to be happy. Most of the time she succeeds. Even if she has trouble interacting with the world and people around her she'll try to find the good in anything and make a drawing about it.
In regards to her anxiety, it manifests itself in a disorder called selective mutism. Despite the first word in the name, she isn't entirely in control of the selection. She has found various ways to cope. The main one being her artwork. She has also discovered that working side by side with someone in some sort of task, and if she can keep quiet while cooperating with them and doesn't need to talk then she can start to feel more comfortable with them around. As long as the other person doesn't inadvertently increase her stress, this can produce a good relationship and she'll find it easier to speak to them. The circumstances around Elysia's birth were unfair. The whole pregnancy was difficult and then she came earlier than her expected due date. After the birth was over she had to be instantly admitted to NICU and it was unsure whether she would make it. Despite this, her parents Ryon and Mira Dey along with her older sisters, Eliza and Adelinde, waited for her to pull through certain that she would live. But Elysia wasn't the only one to have a rough time after her birth. Mira was also in dire straits and unfortunately didn't recover. The family was in a somber situation. The matriarch had passed and despite their initial hope, the fear for Elysia's life was still there. It was a long and arduous journey but eventually, she pulled through.
The situation affected each member differently. Ryon became depressed from his wife's death and feared that something may happen to Elysia. Eliza who was much older took it upon herself to get a good education and job to provide for them all, as Ryon's job wasn't very lucrative being a construction worker. Adelinde being a child wanted something to blame for her mother's death and that blame unfairly fell on Elysia. As a baby, Elysia was unusually quiet. She cried when she was hungry, tired, or needed to be held but as she grew older the usual babbling that one associated with babies was not there. She didn't say her first word until she was two when most babies would combine words randomly at this age. It was determined that she didn't have a learning disability so the family went on as normal. She began talking a little more easing the worries of those around her but that ended around when she was 7. She got in a big fight with Adelinde. In reality, it was more like Elysia kept trying to help Adelinde in the garden but messed everything up and was yelled at. Crying she ran off when Adelinde or Eliza weren't watching. She knew where her father worked and went where he was for comfort.
When she got there she watched from outside the fence waiting to see her dad. When she saw him she called out to him distracting him from what he was doing. In a lot of places getting distracted can be dangerous. A construction site is one of them. Cutting all the details out he got injured. He was no longer able to work and Eliza had to leave college to work enough to provide for the family. This is around the time that Elysia stopped talking almost entirely. Things were hard and the anxiety within the young girl didn't help. She would spend the next year in her room hiding from everything. She even stopped drawing for a while. The only time she left her room was for school or to grab something to eat. She was too scared to interact with anyone.
For a while, after her mutism showed, she'd often get in trouble at school for 'refusing' to speak despite her extremely obedient behavior in every other aspect. Kids were cruel and bullied the quiet girl. Some of her friends stuck close but others thought that she didn't want to talk to them despite her trying to find ways to communicate. It was hard. But eventually, someone thought to ask the question 'should she be taken to a psychiatrist?' It took a while but the psychiatrist was able to determine that she had selective mutism rather than autism. Making the correct diagnosis and Elysia realizing what was wrong was the first step to recovery.
They tried various methods to help her. It took a few years but Elysia found herself being able to talk to her family a little bit more. The main thing that helped was her family telling her that they didn't blame her for what happened. Even Adelaide apologized for how she had treated her. She was still having difficulties as the road to full recovery is long and arduous, but she was doing much better. She began learning sign language, she started using her phone and writing to communicate, and she began drawing again putting more effort into it.
When she became a teenager she was more determined than ever to improve so she brought the idea of applying to Wellington to her family. They were initially against it as this would mean she'd be so far from the rest of them for a long time. But she was certain that she could handle it. She also knew that despite her own beliefs that people thought her artwork was amazing. She knew that Wellington would be a good place to go to improve her skills. Both of her goals could be achieved by going there so she convinced her family to allow her to apply. She was surprised and terrified when she found out that she was accepted.

♦Taro is extremely physicly fit. Being born to a multi-generation family of farmers helped attribute to that. From a young age he worked the fields alongside his dad, mom, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunts, and cousins. Everyone helped out. So, it was easily ingrained into him a good strong work-ethic.
Taro is also skilled at camping. His love of the wilderness led him to often taking days at a time in which he'd go out to the woods to camp alone. Spending time with nature and studying every aspect of the forests around his home.

♦Taro is a 'budding' botanist through and through. He may not be generally intellectual, often having trouble in most avenues, but when it comes to plant life he is as much an expert as a teenager can be. As long as he has been alive, Taro has had a burning desire to study and learn more and more about the natural world and how it interacts with everything else. Everywhere he goes he carries a book in which he logs information on plants, constantly adding information to it as he discovers new things. While he does also study animal life within the wilderness he is not as skilled at this as he is with plants.
•p e r s o n a l i t y
Taro is a good-natured and caring guy. He may look like a human tank of flesh and muscle but he'd throw up at the thought of purposefully hurting another life. Human, animal, or plant. It doesn't matter. If he did accidentally harm someone, even if it was something small, he'd go out of his way to make it up to them. In that aspect, he is a doormat. An easy target for people to get things they want from him. Unless you somehow find yourself on his bad side. This is a difficult thing to do though as he tends to be very forgiving and believes that people can change for the better but there is a hard line. But he's so simplistic that it would be easy to make him believe you wanted to be better.
Now while he loves being out in the wild, he is not a wild man like his oddly formed nickname may imply(His favorite movie is Tarzan though). He enjoys some of the finer things of life. He loves almost all types of tea. He enjoys watching the big summer blockbusters, after he has come back to civilization from his summer trips. Also, because of his siblings and cousins, he has developed a competitive spirit. He loves playing games even though he is absolutely horrendous at most of them. The one game he is good at is baseball. But that is because that was the main game his family played.

Taro is a young man who was born to a Dutch farmer who married a Japanese woman. His extended family is a hotpot of a few other nationalities but they are mostly of Dutch origin. The family is quite large with Taro's Grandfather being the current owner of a massive amount of farmland in the middle of America. This family has owned this land for many generations going all the way back to an early Dutch immigrant who staked his claim early on in the years that the mid-west had become part of the States. Every descendent of this man has at least attributed a day of labor to the land. Even though this is the case, every member that has been born was given the option to choose their own path. All tended to take some time away from the family business but most tended to find themselves back with the family.
With Taro, things were no different. He found a fascination with the way the plants grew. He tried to find many ways to improve the growth and quality of the crops. He personally looked after as many plants as he could. His parents eventually made an area in their backyard for him so that he wouldn't spend so many nights out in the field. Eventually, he grew to want to learn more. The crops were amazing but he knew that the whole world was teeming with life. So, the summer before his Freshman year he snuck away to the closest forest. He had left a note and about a week into his camping trip, they found him dragging him back home. He was fine but in an extreme amount of trouble. Let's just say he didn't go off without permission again. But by that time next year they had finally allowed him to go on a camping trip by himself. Only that he had to be at a campground where others would be, and that he'd contact them every day.
It was during this trip, that his parents got the idea that maybe they should try and send him to a school in which he could learn more about what he wanted. A place where he could thrive rather than being held back by his issues with other subjects. A school that was surrounded by so much nature and had people that could keep him safe with a close eye while letting him explore the world he loved.

@Inkarnate@Kaggs I can only imagine my guy(Name still pending) getting along with his older sister. I imagine the mom isn't that much better off than daddy dearest. So, either he crashes at big sis' place if she lets him or he lives in the garage of one of his bandmates which is where they practice.
Also, my dude is open to mending whatever is left of the relationships but will rarely make any steps towards fixing them himself. He also won't exactly let it on that he has such a desire. But if someone calls him and they are overboard drunk and can't get in the house he'll stop by and make sure they can get in and will stay the night making sure they don't hurt themselves in their possible drunken grief. Will leave before their head fully clears of whatever mess was going on.
Man, I missed out by not finding this when it started. Still cool to see. Either way, I am content with reading this. You people have given me something to read during the quarantine. Thanks.

Looking around things just felt eerily wrong. This couldn't be a dream. Marcus had never had any vivid dreams like this before. Also, none of these faces looked familiar to him, and dreams tended to use faces that came from somewhere. Looking at the twins specifically as he was certain he's only met one Asian person before. But that technically couldn't rule it out. He lived in a very remote place but being on the internet a lot throws the idea of never seeing these faces out of the question. However, the way it seemed that they had such detailed backstories, mannerisms, and characteristics made it unlikely this was a dream. If that was the case then that would mean this weird forest was real. That he was really here.
He looked around and listened to the others piecing together a few similarities. He began occasionally mumbling to himself as the others discussed things. "A lot of us still have our phones but no signal. Hannei has her drone and I have my GoPro so either we weren't kidnapped or it didn't matter?" With this thought he turned his GoPro on and began recording their surroundings. Some people remembered being tired or light-headed. A lot of people being out in nature. He looked to the others, "I was sitting out by a lake when suddenly I got tired. Laid down to take a nap and then screaming and a weird forest. I doubt there's anything to do with where we live. Mainly because I kinda live in the middle of nowhere and am almost certain I've never met any of you. I do pretty good at remembering those I meet in person."
Something about this wasn't clicking. There was absolutely no way he and all of these strangers just woke up in a random forest together with no story behind how they got there other than they just had. He mumbled the word, "Strangers." Then he looked up at the others. "You four. Brent, Freya, Punk Rock, and Meltdown. Each of you said you were with people? You two were camping. No sight of your friends and no sign of this Venessa for you. You were driving and got separated and you were looking for someone? You saw her before waking up here. If that's the case then why do we actually have people who know each other? Are we all supposed to know someone here but something got mixed up? Julian, right, were you alone when you were walking through the woods? Because if not then everyone other than myself, as far as I know, was with, near, or had very recently interacted with someone else before waking up here?"
He started thinking about the whole idea of someone missing. Two people seemed to actively be looking for someone. Two had just been with friends and were separated somehow. One person mentioned being on a bus with another being at a bus stop. Someone had just left their grandparent's house, and the twins were likely together before they woke up here. Then there was him resting by a lake. What was the connection? He turned to look closer at the weird woods themselves. Pretty much everything felt wrong. But the woods were the worst offender. The hairs on the back of his neck rose as if they were being watched. "Well, the saying is that curiosity killed the cat. But maybe we get lucky." He looks on the ground for something small. After finding something he picks it up throwing it into the woods with his GoPro pointed in the direction.
Realized I forgot to actually put this in the CS as in the original it was under a tab for occupation. I did allude to it in the bio and personality, but Marcus has a YouTube channel with about 1.2 million subs. He does gaming and vlogging on the channel but hasn't posted on it regularly since his father and youngest sister disappeared only occasionally posting like once every month or so. And despite how some of his content was vlogs he'd still be very hard to recognize based on that as he rarely showed his face in any of his videos. The vlogs were more following around his family.
Not long after Ziv slumped upon the counter, a white-colored patch can be seen flying from the stairs to the second floor until it smacks right onto the back of Ziv's neck. "Leave that on until before you go to sleep and it will make you feel better. But don't do anything you still wouldn't do if you felt dead tired." Annalyse called out as she descended the stairs. She had spent the beginning of her morning working on her various commission work for enhancing guildmates' armor and weapons, but she needed some breakfast before she continued.
As she headed towards the cafe's bar she nodded towards and greeted the other members present. She sat down and turned to the guild barkeep, "Mr. Tanner, could I please get one of those sandwiches that you make really well? And maybe some orange juice as well?" Despite having come down here to eat breakfast rather than to work, she still couldn't keep from it. She used her Requip to pull out a pair of gloves that one of the guildmates needed for a coming up trip to Mt. Hakobe. While her magic could be used in combat it was extremely optimal for utility so she often did commission work for other guild members to make varying kinds of things for them. She looked at the others, "Mr. Bosmir and Mr. Talentino, how did your missions go? And is that a new book Ms. Takashi?"
Noh Yeong-Jin is, in simple terms, a general stick in the mud. If it were only up to him he'd spend his day excelling at school and in his spare time either watching a crime drama, reading a mystery book, or studying criminology. Yeah, that last one is a new development as he's gotten older but he enjoys it so much that his younger siblings are betting on whether he'll become a cop or a criminal. Of course his desire is to become a prosecutor but he knows that unless his parents choose his older brother as the heir of the NY Group then that desire will fall through. Despite his disciplined behavior he does enjoy some things that most his age enjoy. This is mainly thanks to his few friends and his older sister dragging him into things until he grew to enjoy it.
He enjoys the occasional party as long as laws are being followed but he enjoys high society gatherings the most. Getting a chance to make connections as well as watching their attitudes and mannerisms feels like a fun game to him. He enjoys sticking to the rules but for his family and friends, he'd do a lot and go outside of the lines to make them happy and keep them safe. Outside of those people, if you do something he doesn't agree with he will either look down on you with disgust or if it harmed someone he cared about will do what he can to tear you down. Which is where those fancy high society connections tend to come in handy. He is of the mind that one strike and you are out. He won't break any rules when letting you know his viewpoint but you will know that you don't mess with the people he cares about.
𝓗𝓲𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂 ▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔ The golden standard among Korean Chaebols, born to a family with wealth built through hard work and cultivated over generations to reach a certain level of mugung, or “inexhaustible abundance.” The Korean Rose was born to a decent-sized family as a middle child and groomed to reach perfection through diligence. This resulted in a quiet child that often took the consequences for his older siblings shenanigans. Dedicating himself to hard work and sticking to himself has created a sort of “Ice-Prince” exterior that many college girls swoon over, unfortunately for them, he has a duty he must fulfill in an arranged marriage with The Lily.
Yeong-Jin is the third child and second son of the Noh family. Just like the rest of his siblings, Yeong-Jin found himself with good parents who instilled in them that no matter your goals, hard work and diligence would get you to the top. Of course, as a family involved in a large Chaebol named NY Group, one of the children would have to dedicate themselves to taking over from their father eventually. One would expect the oldest to eventually take over but for various reasons, Yeong-Jin's parents didn't deem either of his older siblings fit to take over as CEO from their father. The likely hood of either of Yeong-Jin's younger siblings having a shot at this role was low as they were much younger than the older three and their father, due to various ailments, wasn't expected to live long enough for them to be as old as needed to properly take his place. But despite this, the young intellectual didn't resent his position at all. The only thing he didn't enjoy was the occasional jealous looks from his older sister and brother. His sister tended to be aloof towards the high life of being a Chaebol but she eventually got over it. She had always wanted to be an actress so this worked out for her. His brother was a different story though. He wanted the company. He had always been shrewd and very interested in business but as he grew older he showed signs of greed and self-importance. Because of this, their parents tended to favor Yeong-Jin as the heir. Due to this, the brothers don't have a very great relationship.
Even though his position as the future CEO of the NY group seems to be set in stone and his brother's flaws seem dangerous for staying a good-natured business, Yeong-Jin believes that his brother is a good person and would be a better fit as CEO than himself. However, as a dutiful son, Yeong-Jin hasn't voiced this opinion to his parents. They are much older than him and it is a decision of theirs to make. He still had his wants and desires. Maybe it stemmed from his mother being one of the best defense attorneys in South Korea or from his general desire to look after and take care of his younger siblings, but he wants to serve and protect the people. For the longest time, he was unsure of how though. Even if he knew how he wanted to do this it'd be hard to actively do so if he was made the CEO. But the whims and desires people have don't care about logical thinking. They just happen, which is why when Yeong-Jin's sister made her debut on the small screen in a Korean crime drama, he became hooked. Usually, the world of fiction didn't tend to interest him much, but the nature of crime dramas and how close they could be to reality drew him in. He found himself trying to solve the crimes alongside the main characters. He got quite good at it. He even started reading books within the same genre. He was fascinated with solving puzzles of this variety.
When it comes to relationships outside of his family and maybe one or two friends though it seems like a barren wasteland. He doesn't care enough to get close to anyone else largely in part to how no one else seems to want to put up with his blunt and seemingly boring nature. At most he is just friendly to other people and when it comes to romantics if you asked those near him then they'd probably say that for as long as they've known him nothing has gotten that ship to sail. In truth, that is only because he knew that there was a good chance that one day his parents would arrange a marriage for him so he tended to ignore flirtation or those kinds of feelings, but the heart tends to not care what the mind says at times and Yeong-Jin's is no different. You see, the children of the leaders of Chaebols tend to meet from time to time. It was at one such event that he met her and, despite how he usually was, Yeong-Jin felt inextricably drawn to her. Maybe it was her confidence or how she wasn't inherently like most other girls he knew. Her lack of shame for being who she wanted to be was like a north-seeking pole to his boring do what you're told and follow the road paved before you south-seeking pole. He never dared bring this up as he knew how old fashioned his parents were on some things and that they'd likely play a heavy role in determining who he'd be married to.
Imagine his surprise, when during his last year of high school, to find that the one his parents would arrange for him to marry would be the one he had felt drawn to. He was pleasantly surprised. He wouldn't call his feelings towards her love as they didn't know each other but she was a very interesting person to him. As it was near the end of the school year he wasn't able to go and meet with her. Little did he know, she probably had no desire to see him. This is largely why, when after high school graduations she left the country, he was confused. He didn't know what was going through her head.
He reached out to one of her brothers to try and figure out what was wrong. Let's just say that despite it not being his fault he had felt a little guilty about the whole situation. His parents were a little upset by this occurrence but with the help of his older sister, he was able to calm them down. He, on the other hand, didn't know what he should do. After a month of debating with himself the best course of action, he decided that it wasn't his place to say or do anything. If he tried it may just make matters worse so he simply prepared a bouquet of chamomile and purple hyacinth sending it to her. He wasn't going to force anything on her but hoped this gesture would let her know he didn't blame her.
He did have to admit though that not accepting what others chose for her was alluring to him. He wouldn't be able to take it as far as she had and simply took a dual major which his parents weren't too fond of but he convinced them to let him study what he enjoyed.
