No it's fine for you to keep it a secret. I am interested to see. And as far as his gift goes, it needs to be musical. Your character plays the trumpet but his gift has nothing to do with music. As of right now it is more like a superpower that isn't connected to anything.

I like the premise you're going for here as far as the "one who's never noticed" thing. However, his gift needs to be connected with his instrument because it is not a superpower. The gift comes from their talent as an instrumentalist. And just a curious question, why are you wanting to keep his history out of the CS? For any particular reason, or have you just not thought of anything yet?

Personality can be it's own thing as it doesn't depend on their gift. The instrument, bio and gift should correlate in some way. For example, "throughout her middle school years, the trombone was always something she felt drawn to. . . " Then proceed to explain what her gift is. A given characters gift does not have to be directly tied to the instrument they play. If they are a singer however, their gift would naturally have something to do with their voice. Question answered?

Well the day we're in right now is the day before class and it seems like everybody is kind of just exploring and doing their own thing. If I were you, I would look and see what classes you wanna take at Gringore and go from there. I find that to be the easiest.

Yes Deseraei is very intelligent and enjoys reading. I'm sure she will need some books from the library for one or more of her classes so I'm sure she will stop by there. Right now she is wandering around campus with @TheIrishJJ's character trying to find her rooms. You haven't made your first IC post yet have you?

Deseraei is very quiet and drawn into herself at first but she is very polite and friendly when approached. getting to know her is hard but if she sees someone making an effort to be friends with her, she will most definitely take the opportunity. She has absolutely no friends right now. Not even from her hometown. She is definitely seeking to make friends right now.

Only half paying attention to what she was looking for, being so absorbed in her music, Deseraei wandered aimlessly around the same block of buildings reading their names and sometimes creeping up to the doors to see if anyone was inside. She had many classes and she wasn't even sure if some of them were in the same building as another. As of right now, she was looking for Demonology. As she turned around to go down the short couple stairs in front of the building, she was suddenly nose to nose with a man who looked like he could bench press 5 of her. Reeling backwards to avoid smashing into him, she swiftly yanked out one of her headphones and answered the question she thought she heard him ask.

"No, I'm sorry. I don't have that class. I haven't even found my own yet. You're free to wander around and look with me if you want. Did you just come from orientation?"

Deseraei suddenly wondered if going to orientation would have been a good idea after all. Maybe they would have shown the students where all the buildings were. Or at least explained it. . . Maybe he knew where Demonology was.
