I have a new computer and am dealing with some RL related stuff with it (transfering important files, etc), so I will probably not be able to get any roleplaying done this weekend.

Nice to meet you. :p

Are any of the three ideas appealing, or would should we together come up with another?
Two questions then: Are there any pre-established places/kingdoms/etc of the setting to keep in mind for writing our character backstories?

And do you want us to do character creation here, or will you be making a separate OOC thread?
I'd like to do an rp set in the universe of the Elder Scrolls Games (Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim), but not directly touching on the main story arcs of any of the games, nor with either of us playing canon characters (or the 'main' characters of each game). Obviously, depending on when and where we have the rp take place in the larger Elder Scrolls universe, some canon characters may come up, and we can each play them as needed.

Obviously, this requires some familiarity with the lore of the games, and thus likely the games themselves. Additionally, my characters will be either Men (Imperials, Redguards, Nords or Bretons) or Mer (Dunmer, Altmer, Bosmer), and my partner in the 1x1 is going to have to play one of those seven as well (though doesn't have to be of the same one that I am), I don't get the fascination with Khajiit, Argonians and Orcs that many have (its fine to have that fascination, don't get me wrong) and would rather not have them as a main character in a 1x1 I do.

I have a few ideas, all set in the 'Skyrim' Era (So in the Fourth Era, set in the Province of Skyrim, in that general time period). But if you don't like any of them, we can discuss others in other eras and other periods. Where I say [Empire/Stormacloaks], that means the idea in question is variable as to which it is, and up to your choice. Additionally, if you most of an idea but not all of it, we can make changes.

It should be pretty clear in each one who my character is and who yours is (with customization for your character totally okay, as I said above), but if you have any questions, feel free to ask. If you have your own plot ideas, as I said above, feel free to suggest them. We can talk here in the thread or via PM.
Interested. Which generation of Fire Emblem classes/etc will be setting the general structure of options?
Name of your tribe: The Kantriani
Leader of your tribe: Cerian Quilor
Race and ethnicity of your tribe: Fisti/Kantriani
Dialect or language of your tribe: Fisti/Kantriani
Name of your tribe's camp and where you want it to be placed: Kantrias. I want it where that river in Fisti territory meets the lake right next to it.
Religion(s) of your tribe: Karelism (A fusion of certain elements of Kristianity with previous lets call them 'Pagan' traditions)
Background story(History) of your tribe: The Kantriani have always been something of an odd small group within the larger Fisti tribe. While keeping with many of the traditional gods and worship of their people, the Kantriani also had a strange fixation on flowers, of all things, and ascribed supernatural qualities and powers to them, while retaining the warlike and independent nature of the Fisti. Delphiniums, always the symbol of rulership in Kantriani tradition, are especially valued, representing wise, victorious rule and good governance in general. The Kantriani, along with the other Fisti, traveled to the west, absorbing some of the elements of Kristian faith, mostly structure and a more concrete system of belief, but most importantly, their cultural beliefs regarding flowers raised to the status of religion. The Kantriani, always excellent in the water, settled at the edge of Fisti territory, and make their living on fishing and river/lake based trade as well as farming and hunting, but their new Chief, Cerian, inspied by surving fragments of Marian learning, wants to build his people into something more. The Standard of the Delphinium will rise, first over all the Fisti, then as far as the eye can see.
Looks good. *
