Holy fuck, Catalina.

Okay, you made Takumi give a fuck, I guess.
@Eklispe I am still interested and making a CS. We totally should invite you to skype. Please poke me at alta.saire2
Takumi noticed a grungy, colorful girl. Her desire for a fight to erupt was obvious from her slightly adversarial posture, although, she apparently didn't want to fight — her posture was hidden under a slouch.

He shrugged. He could defuse the situation, but didn't feel much of a need to, yet. "I guess, none of the students here are wimps enough to be seriously hurt from the tussle."

Instead, he calmly walked around the quarter of the crowd-ring, semi-consciously slipping into weird and erratic shudderstep, coming up to the colorful girl from the side.
— What are you doing? — He calmly asked, his voice low and collected.
If someone wants, they can poke me for an IC chat. I'm gonna be here for several hours more.

Also I'm so excited about this starting.
@Eklispe

Oh. I guess that would make sense. I just somehow assumed she did.
@TheHangedMan

Takumi was staring impassively at the scene from the sidelines. He'd arrive earlier, but a holdup saw to it that he had to stand around in the queues and wait. Takumi wasn't really averse to waiting, he was usually patient, but the growing discontent of the crowd-beast got on his nerves.
Conflicts felt like brushfires.

For a moment he debated whether to break the fight up, but then another student butted in, and Takumi settled for getting some warm-up practice done. He lightly tapped the hilt of his weapon and closed his eyes, soon opening them again, a slight metallic sheen on his irises.

He became deeply aware of the social links and cues tying the crowd and the fighters, taking in glances, breathing and patterns of behaviour.
"I wonder, what are these two fighting about?"
@The ghost in black

How'd she even learn that limit? I'd be scared to test myself against a nuke blastwave (besides, there's the lightwave to consider, not only kinetic force) in case I'm not actually that cool.

Besides, it's not like people blow up nukes with any sort of regularity, even in testing.

Here you go, everyone. We might upgrade to a Skype convo if our GM's tech problem clears, since it has persistent logs. Otherwise it's done.
Hey, would it be a good idea to set up an IRC channel for this game? I can make one.
@The ghost in black, does your character make it common knowledge she can tank a kinetic yield of a nuke?
