I'm gonna give this RP another shot. This is a role play inspired by Re:Monster. When your soul finds itself in the body of something not human, how will you strive to live? Carve out a peaceful life, destroy the world, or surpass God? The choice, is yours. Welcome to From Goblins To Gods!

Introduction
Once, you were a human. Maybe you were a salary man, or a kid on a skateboard, or a third-grade English teacher. Either way, you're dead now. As quickly as your soul is placed into darkness, it is pulled back out. Light and sounds accelerate, and your eyes crack open for the first time, in a new body.

You're a Goblin.

Born in a small, remote tribe of Goblins in a forested island, lacking any knowledge of your geography, you are thrust into the world. While only a newborn, the instinct and basic abilities of your kind are ingrained into you. How to communicate, how to hunt, what you must do to survive, as well as inherent information to your new world. This is your life, this is your mind. The memories of your previous life, your previous world, they exist but merely as a hazy dream with the conclusion forgotten. With time, sufficient experience and growth will open the option for you to evolve from a goblin to a different branch of monster, but this will depend on your own ability.

Just one thing sets this new batch of Goblin juveniles, your clan, apart from the rest. A single facet of their souls, a single "skill" retained from their past life that they do not even know they had. Perhaps an affinity for a rare kind of magic, perhaps a propensity to lead, perhaps the knowledge of a language they don't recall learning. Will this mistake in the cycle of reincarnation lend them the power to break past their limits, or will they simply fall like wild beasts to the onslaught of the world?

Welcome to the game, and do make it entertaining.

Character Sheet
Hmm. Sorta interested. I just wanted to ask, how magical is this world again? And would this be more close to a dark-like setting?
When the world first came into contact with a plane beyond our understanding, it was in the form of a white pillar of light that rained down all over the planet. People believed the light came down from Heaven, and that God was to speak to us, to guide us into the correct path. However, the light wasn’t one of comfort – it wasn’t warm, but both as cold as ice and hot as fire.

And from the dark skies rained the demons, the angels, and the gods.

The cities were burned, the statues erected in these figure’s honor was destroyed, and it was then that humanity came to understand what it meant to be lesser beings. Much like ants, humanity had to retreat to a place where the enemy will not follow: underground. And it was within the darkness that man had to continue surviving.

This was fifteen years ago.

Today, we look at the most dangerous of the cities: Los Angeles. What had once been lauded as the City of Angels did indeed become a city of angels – that is, angels looking to rid the earth of man once and for all. Closer to the ocean, hidden close to the cliffs that lead out to the Pacific Ocean, the second “Los Angeles” was built, and the survivors did what they could do not to starve to death.

But mankind could evolve, and mankind did evolve. The children born since the invasion had the appearance of man, but the strengths of the enemy. With more strength, and the ability to communicate with the enemy, the children decided to do what they felt was their duty: drive the enemy back, and destroy the pillar of light that was now known as the Ivory Tower.

The beginning of the rebellion has come.
@Archmage MC I'll be balancing everything out to give players a fair chance against their would be foes. Things will be gradual with a few surprises here and there. Well, it would actually depend on how the players do things since I'm making this a semi-sandbox type of RP.

Although not the exact representation, you guys might end up something like this:

Think of something like Re: Monster as well. Devouring and defeating certain foes would grant you certain abilities and the like.
Not exactly. Its more of humans get pitted against pokemon-like monsters with a hint of fantasy mixed into it.
As silly as it sounds, I want to do a wilderness survival RP that will be taking major influences from Pokemon and Monster Hunter. Anyone willing to brainstorm and world build with me? Then eventually get this thing started.
In the Advanced RP Section, it states that "Focuses on longer posts, often with in-depth plots, character development and extensive settings/lore. Must make a dedicated effort to minimize typographical errors and to use good grammar. Generally two paragraphs, but usually longer." Not really what I'm going for.

I thought this was classified as Casual since it says "Enjoy writing at least a paragraph or two, character development, and some depth. Grammar and spelling are encouraged. Generally one paragraph (a few sentences) per post. See individual GM for RP specific standards." I believe I didn't step out of bounds from what was stated in the section description. But apparently, I did. I was straight forward and being honest. Not really the type to sugar coat my comments. Apparently, that came of as rude.

Yeah, most probably support what Gayspacerock and Starstreemer said.
@Eklispe I don't know. @Gayspacerock is right; I have certain standards when it comes to character construction and aesthetics. Me trying to impose that on people, who want to participate in an RP I'm going to GM, is rude. So I'll probably take that as a hint and stop.
Alright. Thanks for the advice.
Probably am. I guess I better drop this then.
