There's a difference between the ability to be social, and the desire to be social. I function perfectly fine going outside and talking to people, but that doesn't mean I *like* doing either.

Pilk seems to be trending, so I tried it. Anyone who tells me this is a good drink is no longer a person I wish to associate with.

Bio

The day that Moss was hanged, eight others were cut down,
And when the graves had all been dug, the queen rode out of town.

Keeping my eye on it, as you've noticed.
Ayu Usui

It was starting.

Ayu had been investigating the corpse pretty much the whole time, but it gave her and Hiroki more than enough clues to work with. When Monokuma's announcement had come and gone, then, she wasn't particularly upset about it.

"...We should go," she remarked to her partner, looking up at him. "...If you're scared, that's fine. It's normal to feel scared... we'll find the culprit."

It sent some mixed messages to hear those words come out of a face and posture as stoïc and unassuming as Ayu's, but she didn't give Hiroki much more time to dwell on it. The girl yawned into her dangling sleeve and walked out of the cabin, finding her way to the fire pit with ease. Once there, she tried to keep her distance from most others- well, save for Hiroki. Ayu remained silent, otherwise.

Momoe Mizuno

"Tch... not from here, huh?" Momoe growled under her breath as she kicked the door of the supply cabin. It slammed shut with a thud. She leaned forwards and pushed against it, clutching her head, her thoughts dizzy and cloudy, yet clear enough to understand the bear's message. (Only one other place it could've been,) she thought to herself, but she's out of time to linger on it... and what's more, she gave her ace to that damned Hibiki. How unlike her to slip up like that... bastard better not have lost it.

Momoe stumbled over to the fire pit, where a small crowd's amassed. She leaned against a tree, both arms folded. This was a two-part power play; not only did it play up her "too cool for school"(™) attitude, but also, Momoe was tired as all hell. She could use just about anything as long as the fucking thing kept her standing straight in the moment. The girl didn't bat her eye at anyone else, keeping to herself.

(What the hell made the bear choose this of all places...? Something doesn't add up.)
Taka Tsuin

Taka and Aurel spent the entire rest of the investigation examining the mess hall, but unfortunately couldn't turn up any clues. Not too much chatter happened between the two of them because of the tense atmosphere, but Taka hadn't been too hostile at least. He thought. Hopefully.

"...Seems we gotta get going," he offhandedly mentioned to Aurel. "I'll meet you back at the fire pit, I guess."

Taka left ahead of Aurel and followed the dirt road. It took him a short while, since the boy wasn't particularly thrilled to get their in a hurry, but he did get there eventually. Some people were already gathered while others had yet to arrive, but Taka took his place somewhat at the center of the crowd. Nobody was saying anything- and actually, that kinda got on his nerves.

"So, anyone got a clue the hell we do now?" he posed the question.

(S-Shit... I don't... even want to think about it...)
Chikako Himura

Despite her best efforts, Chikako's search of Aurel's lab didn't amount to much. A part of that was because Flare distracted both her and Lilly with the CD case (what kind of a clue was that, even?) and another part because,

well,

Chikako didn't know what she was looking for, really.

Monokuma's announcement didn't care though; as far as the bear was concerned, time was up. Chikako nervously swallowed her saliva and looked over to the other two girls. "Well," she began, "you heard him. I don't really wanna go, though." She may have admitted her reluctance, but that didn't stop her from dragging the other two with her to the firepit. She was antsy and restless; even though Chikako didn't want to go, in a sense, she was the most hurried out of all of them to get there. Just to get it over with.

Chikako took her spot in the gathering crowd.

"I dunno," she answered Taka. "I guess we each... go over what we found, or something?"

(What a weird place to make us all gather...)
Ding Dong Bing Bong...

No matter who you were, no matter what you were doing... when that bell rang, silence swept over the whole camp. All the monitors flickered to life, and every eye was drawn to the bear sitting on his throne.

"It's time for what you've all been waiting for! The class trial!

Campers, please make your way to the fire pit. Don't worry if you've never been there- just follow the road going to the woods! It's in the middle of camp, you can't miss it!

Puhuhu... isn't your heart just pounding with excitement?!

Just remember! I don't like people who are late! Puhuhu... Puhuhuhu!"

Well, I found out that an entire RP group on another site had ghosted me over the weekend. Probably should've expected it since I already had to hunt down people for posts earlier this last month, but still. My other RP on that site is probably dead in the water, too, given I have extremely bare bones WIPs but nothing in terms of a completed sheet in over a week's time, and no OOC chatter. Plus, the two RPs I expressed interest in are also dead in the water--One GM never answered my questions because he never showed up again while the other RP had a GM that disappeared and no one had made sheets for it.

But at least I have @Inkarnate to share in the bitching, so props to him. I tend to bitch in DMs a lot, and I'm pretty sure I've annoyed him in the past over it, but it's nice to have someone hear you out, especially regarding the "entire RP group ghosting" since he had been rather invested in the same RP.

I mean, yeah, sure, people gonna ghost, but it's ridiculous when I'm waiting on responses only for an entire RP group to not only ignore me when I ask if anyone is posting, but also vanish from the discord without saying anything. We had a good pace and everyone was hyped up at the beginning, then I had to start hunting down people for responses before total silence. It's kind of like when the guild servers were having issues like a year ago. Had an entire RP group tell me in the OOC that they were going to stick around once it was sorted out, only for no one to respond to my IC post after the connection was fixed back then.

I miss bitch thread just as much as the next guy, but

i don't think this is a gush post lmao

Ayu Usui

Ayu was still crouched down next to Naomi's corpse, further investigating it even as some people left the cabin to go search elsewhere for clues. She was by no means an experienced mortician, but there was a nagging feeling in the back of her head telling her that it had more clues left to reveal. Her thoughts kept wandering what it could be, and kept checking her own personal copy of the Monokuma File. It wasn't telling them something, the information was much too surface-level. Regardless, no matter how much Ayu looked over the corpse, she couldn't find any extra injuries.

...Extra injuries....

As if it struck her like a bolt of lightning, Ayu froze from the realisation. She quickly deposited her student ID and shuffled over to Naomi's neck, briefly hesitating before gently spreading apart the long-dead flesh. She winced at her own action, but nevertheless stared long and hard at the wound. It was much, much more severe than it had appeared at first glance. The wound was extremely deep, but the shape that the flesh had indicated that something got stuck halfway and was forcefully removed.

"...Hiroki," Ayu droned back to her partner. "The killer... had some trouble."

Truth Bullet - Throat wound
Upon further inspecting the wound at Naomi's throat, it appears deeper than initially assumed.
The deeper part of the wound was not a clean cut.

Himura Chikako

...

"..."

...

"Okay, we're going then!"

Chikako was absolutely sick of waiting on both Lilly and Flare to make up their mind, and the lot of them were wasting a lot of the investigation time. While the girl would love to good off in any normal circumstance, the current amount of sheer panic and adrenaline coursing through almost everyone made that much less of an appealing prospect. If she wanted to get out alive of this, it was best to drag these two to investigate with her in hope of finding some clues they couldn't at the cabin. Said cabin was too crowded for her tastes, and you can only gain so much by having everyone be in one place, right?

The Ultimate Rhythm Game Player didn't have too much trouble to drag both Flare and Lilly rather forcefully to Aurel's lab, even if she had to use her beat-up shoulder to drag Lilly. The girl had no muscle, anyway, and it wasn't like she offered too much resistance. Still stung though. Chikako turned around. "Alright, let's look! The killer's gotta have stolen something from here to break into the cabin," she proudly declared before dashing into the building. Chikako quickly started to rummage through every corner of it, despite having never come there before, in the hopes of finding some clue toward the real killer.

The stuffed bunnies in the corner were fucking weird, though.
