Tom stopped himself from saying even more things about himself. Most of it was boring or weird, and he might end up slipping and say something about what he actually did. When she made a remark about him not having a phone, he just shrugged his shoulders. Of all things, he didn't think that that fact was gonna be that weird to her. "Home school isn't that nice. Its probably a bit easier since I don't have to wake up early, but it also gets boring."

"Wait. What is your name? You kept talking and I didn't hear your name come out, haha."

Tom raised his eyebrows and then realized that she was right about that. He immediately felt impolite, and cursed himself in his thoughts. You had to talk about yourself first. "Oh, right, yeah, sorry. My name's Tomlin. I mean, Tom. Just Tom." He followed her gaze to the schedule, but it was too far for him to see so he decided to just not reply to her about it anymore.
Tom watched as she held her phone and was using the front camera. For a second, he thought she was gonna randomly start taking pictures of herself, which was a little weird for him. He even feared that she was gonna ask him to pose on a self-portrait with her. But he realized she was just checking her face. When she was done, he felt relieved for some reason, but did well to not show it. She didn't have to realize how nervous he was with meeting someone new.

"Oh.. uhhh. My name is Helena, nice to meet you there."

When she said that, he nodded a little. He saw her extend her hand out, and realized she wanted to shake hands. It looked like he was doing good, and he was able to half smile again. He reacted a bit late, but he took Helena's hand, with his fingers loose, and gently shook it. He didn't make it firm, since he was scared that he'd hurt her with his grip. He listened to what she was saying until she suddenly stopped.

"It's fine," he told her with a shrug. In fact, she made him want to talk more; he even for got to mention his own name. "I mean, I was home schooled since I was nine. And my parents don't let me go out with other kids too much. I don't even have a phone. Wonder how I'll do now, since I'm pretty new to a lot of stuff." He didn't say straight up that he didn't actually have any real friends. She'll think he's weird, and it's better for no one to actually know that.
Was she talking to herself just now? Tom blinked and readjusted his position on the seat. Being outside was starting to make him uncomfortable, since he wasn't used to it. He didn't want the other kids to see him as some geeky freak who didn't know how to be normal. But he had a little confidence while he tries to talk to the girl, and just hoped that he was doing things right.

After a couple of seconds, he figured he should smile back at her, so that's what he did. She seemed nice, which was good. It gave him a warm feeling that added to his confidence, though he was still awkwardly shifting around his space. "Yeah, I'm a uh...freshman." Tom slid back to his thoughts, wondering what to do next. People shake hands, right? He glanced away for a second and brushed his hand over the hair behind his head before turning back to the girl, skipping his idea to shake hands. Instead he started talking again.

"So what's your name?"
Tom splashed his face with water and looked up to his image on the mirror. He took a deep breath and went to his room to grab a shirt. It was his first day to go back to school with other kids. For more than five years, he had a home school program which separated him from everyone else. His parents almost never let him out of the house, so he didn't have any friends outside, though he has met people. While he wore a maroon unzipped hoodie over his gray shirt, the sound of the door swinging open and slamming to the wall made him jump. It was his father, staring at him with stern eyes. They stared at each other for ten seconds before his father shut the door closed without a word. It's always been like that; them watching him, ignoring him most of the time. He deserved it after all, but he didn't dwell on those thoughts anymore.

When everything was set, he picked up a backpack and went downstairs. No one spoke or said goodbye when he left the house and started walking. The school already told him where the nearest bus stop was, so he went that way. He was on the sidewalk when he saw the bus stop, and there was one girl there (HELENA). He pushed his glasses up a little before continuing his way towards it. He took a seat right on the bench beside her and stole a glance. It's been a while since he's had a conversation with someone, especially a girl, so he said "Hey," in a quick mutter to her.
are you gonna say what kind of disaster occurred?

Name: Xavier Azarov

Age: 20

Appearance:

Personality: Silent, straightforward when speaking, selfless.

Bio: Xavier dropped out of high school when he had to take care of his mother, who was sick and confined to her bed, and a 6 year-old brother. He started selling drugs to earn cash to support their small family on his own, and doesn't talk to his old friends anymore. Both his mother and brother died of the disease that killed most of the population.

Weapons: Switch knife
Jon went back to the door and picked his two weapons up. He didn't know why he was so paranoid. Maybe it was the new companions. It was good to not be alone, but losing those two would be harsh. He tucked the revolver behind him and laid the machete on a table. If Denny has been staying here for a while, it must be safer than he thinks. From upstairs, he heard the voice and the footsteps of the two. He glanced to the end of the staircase and waited for them to come down.
Name: Tomlin (Tom) Azarov

Gender: Male

Age/Year: 15

Power: Create and control fire. Bigger amounts require more strength from him

Hero or Villain: Hero (at the moment)

Personality: Tom is a friendly, cheerful guy outside, and gets along fine with most people. He's smart, talkative, and likes to explore things and places, though he doesn't talk too much about himself. The problem with him is that when he gets angry about something or at someone, he immediately loses control and becomes violent.

History: Tom came from a normal family, and he was the only one who had powers. When he was nine, their house burned down and in the fire, his 2 year-old brother was killed. Both his parents blamed him for everything, but of course they didn't speak about it to anyone else. They kept him in the house ever since, barely letting him out with other kids, and having him in home school before he was sent to Sky High.

Appearance:
Seth suddenly looked up when another man came in. He wasn't that crazy teacher, but they seem to have the same name. Brother? The guy must be confused. He shook his head and spoke up anyway. "This is science.." he stared at the man blankly.
