she heard Rain mention pain but didn't catch the whole thing, the 'I'll explain later' made it so it didn't really matter. then Rain's hand moved up and her addled brain thought 'is she making a move on me?' the more logical part of her brain admonished herself 'this really isn't the time' she felt the heat of Rain's hand and gasped, but it didn't hurt so she didn't pull loose.

she blinked a couple times, the dark lenses of her glasses combined with the glare of snow was exceptionally annoying "it's... s-so hard to... see" she tried pulling a hand free, intending to take her glasses off, not quite being able to understand anymore why her hands felt trapped and exceptionally warm. "my... my hands..." she muttered, glancing down.

she did however manage to catch Rain's statement about the support. "hmmmmmm m-maybe... it's far..."
at Rain's second option, Andro glanced down "that's farther... y-you could... could hurt y-yourself..." she had to blink a couple times to bring herself back into focus "jumping... bad i-idea..."
the annoying part of her brain that had tried to stay logical through all this pointed out that she wasn't necessarily in the condition to climb but she didn't have much of a choice at this point.
I don't see any issues :)

sorry Andro's not being particularly helpful, she's really not capable of it, feel free to have Rain just go "you know what fine, this is what were doing-"
Andro will go with it
I have been summoned?

Andro groaned slightly as the coat was tucked around her. she was aware that Rain was talking and forced herself to look towards the werewolf. she caught "... a little longer" while she did not catch the rest of the sentence she made a logical step that Rain was either saying she needed just a little longer to make up a plan, or she wanted Andro to stay awake a little longer. she remembered both being said by a terrified skier when she was a kid.

"Listen to me, I need you to put your hands under this coat" Andro stared at the werewolf for a second before nodding slightly and pulling her hands under, they got a little warmer, which brought a much welcome shiver to her. then Rain was up against her side and it was like she up against a space heater. with a shudder she leaned closer, the heat was a little overwhelming to her frozen skin but she did it regardless because she was so very cold.

she didn't actually hear Rain's next sentence, she was too distracted by the heat of the werewolf. it probably wasn't much higher then human norm but Andro was cold, and was always below human norm so it felt really really good. when a hand hovered over hers she gasped lightly, not in pain, more in surprise but she smiled a little. what little of her logical brain remained active was telling her this wasn't enough and Rain needed to figure something out quickly cause Andro couldn't. she mumbled "y-you're warm... like mom" with that slight smile on her face.

she realized Rain was talking quickly enough to catch all but the first word of the next sentence "c-course... I'll be... alright" she mumbled, hand weakly grasping Rain's "I'm a-always... fine..." she looked down at the snow "what... what are you g-going to do?"

when Rain explained her lack of skis Andro nodded "make-es sense" internally she wasn't being as kind 'you should have figured that out, don't let a little cold beat you' she also knew that was ridiculous, her brain simply couldn't work as fast because she was so very cold.

she was both saddened and glad that Rain knew the symptoms to look out for. very soon she wouldn't self-aware enough to take care of herself. "good... you can m-make sure I don-n't do anything s-stupid" she shivered and though she hated it, she knew it was technically a good thing, as long as she kept shivering she hadn't reached severe hypothermia. once the shivering stopped, that would be a bad thing, unless Rain somehow managed to warm her up before that.

"what idea?" Andro asked, quietly. she blinked when there was suddenly a coat in front of her "wha... that's yours....y-you shoul-ld be wearing it..." her hands closed around it regardless. "wh-hat are you doing? Rain?"

she hadn't actually put the coat on yet, she looked back down at it. God she was cold, and tired. she let go of the coat, it settled into the small area between her and Rain. "I... I can't... focus" she muttered, leaning back against the seat and muttering "tired..." she reached up and brushed her hood back to settle a hand in the snakes on her head, getting no reaction from the reptiles.
Lux pouted a little when he said he was mad but she didn't start crying again. she was a bit proud of herself for that. she sat down between the two people as they spoke. she could tell that Yato wasn't being exceptionally friendly, but she wasn't sure anything she had to say would change that. when he mentioned her staying Lux got excited, would that mean she'd have someone else to talk to? she liked Yato but she didn't like being stuck. he was just worried, she figured that much out, she still wasn't sure why though.

then he started to leave "Yato!" she said, standing up and trying to follow after. then he stopped and came back, leaning down to talk to her. she pouted a little again but after a second nodded, still looking a little sullen. she watched Yato leave then looked at Maggie. "do you know where to go?" she looked around, before walking a little closer, putting a hand on the girl's leg. "cause I don't"

then she remembered something and started, turning around in a circle until she spotted it and crossed to the purple flower she'd noticed earlier. she could be quite fast when she put her mind to it. she got to the stem of the flower and looked it over. how did she know this flower? the stem was curved, leaving the flower closer to the ground then she thought it should be. she walked around it for a second, humming to herself quietly. finally she tried climbing the stem but it just bent more so she got off. "Maggie, can you help me?" she asked "I want to see the flower" she gave the girl a pleading look "pretty please?"
Lux looked up upon hearing his voice. "Yato!" she sniffled a couple times and leaned into his hand "I'm sorry, I walked away and got seen, you told me not to" she twisted around to wrap her short arms around his wrist. "but... but she's not mean!" she looked up pleadingly "Maggie was nice to me! I promise!" she looked back at the girl with a teary smile before letting go of his wrist and walking over to hug his leg.

"you really aren't mad at me? even though I did something wrong?" Lux asked "I'll be a good girl, I promise!" she smiled and wiped at her cheeks.

she suddenly pulled back and looked between them "oh, you guys don't know each other do you?" she took hold of Yato's hand as well as she could and tugged "Yato, this is Maggie, she's nice, she was crying" she then went closer to Maggie "Maggie, this is Yato! Yato found me, he takes care of me. I don't know much yet but Yato's teaching me!" she beamed at them "now you guys know each other so we can all be friends, right?"

"Didn't believe you?" She growled "What a bunch of idiots!"
Andro chuckled "they thought I-I was just... trying to get out, I'm known... for being anti-social" she shivered but managed a smile at her companion. she also much appreciated Rain's next statement, though she barely caught it. Rain's next sentence however, was unheard as Andro struggled to bring herself back. she remembered getting hypothermia as a kid and remembered all but losing her sense of self and being unable to tell what was going on. she knew that was what was happening now and she was determined not to let it for as long as possible.

"I could" She agreed, before shaking her head "But I'm not going too"
Andro felt strangely relieved. while she wanted Rain to get away safely she didn't want to be alone. Rain's further explanation made her smile a little regardless of the implication of her potential death "t-thank you..." she muttered "I... I don't want to be alone" she cursed a little internally 'did I just say that out loud? oh great, keep ahold of yourself Andromeda, you're better then this!'

when Rain told her to hold onto something she raised an eyebrow but put her arm around the side of the lift and locked her hands. between that and the bar she shouldn't fall off. she stared down at the snow as the lift tilted and after a moment she saw Rain's skis fall and barely held back a giggle 'keep it together' she thought. she looked back at Rain in time to realize she was saying something and barely caught the words. "I-I'm alright... I've ha-had worse... much worse" she looked back down "what... what was that about?"

'I can't do this on my own' Andromeda suddenly thought, feeling utterly weak "R-rain... do you... know the symptoms o-of hypo-pothermia?"

Andro did not recognize the woman he described. it could be anyone "no.. i-i don't..." she muttered, pressing herself closer to the table she was using to keep herself standing. "i don't know who that is, i'm sorry!" she cried. then he brought up her sunglasses and she just got more confused "i uh... that is to say..."

then someone else came through the door and she nearly jumped out of her skin. her snakes went from quiet hissing to full on aggressive, and Andromeda paled more then ever. after a second she recognized the new-comer as he spoke to the intruder, calling him 'dad', he was one of the other students, they didn't really know each other but she'd seen him before. Andro's knuckles were turning white from her grip on the table and she felt like she should just leave. there was nothing in her dorm room worth the anxiety she was currently feeling, btu she also wasn't entirely sure she could make it out of the dorm without falling over and that would just make things worse. then Edric mentioned Lily. 'that's who he was talking about? but that description doesn't fit her...'
Edric mouthed his apologies and Andro just nodded slightly, mentally telling the snakes to chill out. their hissing quieted but did not disappear completely.

Andro looked guiltily down at her hands, which were covered with gloves and still felt like they were icing over. "it's uh... haha well," she looked up "I'm cold-blooded, m-my body can't... can't make it's ow-own heat" she shivered again "I tried... tried to convince th-the others not to make me... come but they wouldn't believe me..." she brought her gloved hands up to her face, hoping to give what little heat she could to her cheeks "if we weren't so high up... it wouldn't be so bad"

she looked down "we hav-have to get down... but I don't... I don't know how" she looked between Rain and the snow again "I'm sorry... for not telling you. ever-everyone already treats me... like I'm made of glass, I did-didn't want you thinking that too" she looked back out at the snow 'not glass exactly' she thought 'more like porcelain I suppose, something pretty but easily broken and not easily fixed' she realized she was zoning out again 'that's not good, got to focus on something' she looked up at Rain again. "may-maybe you could... climb to that..." she point to the support "if-if you get down... you ca-can get help..."
