Golden Era, the year 453, Mother Nature strikes against the humans. The World of Astrea was originally a peaceful place governed by the 'Kingdom'. However at one point it become a harsh world of endless conflict and rigorous warzones. The 'Kingdom' split into three and so the Great War began. The Great War has raged for centuries, some say its roots laid in the Bronze Era, some say it existed since the beginning of the Heroic Era. However the initial reasons that caused the war were long forgotten. Yet the war never ceased. ‘Peace’ was a lofty idea and many laughed at it. The scars of war were far too deep for the three kingdoms; The Sky Kingdom, the Water Kingdom and the Earth Kingdom had committed many too many atrocities towards each other.
However, a treaty between the three was formed as Mother Nature herself decided to become their very nemesis. Powerful creatures have been appearing all over the continent. They are able to wield forces of nature as if they were a part of them. During an ongoing battle between the Earth Kingdom and the Water Kingdom, a single beast was able to halt the battle and wiped out thousands of soldiers in a matter of hours. It was capable of controlling the ground making approaching the beast nigh impossible. Rumors of many other creatures appearing are running rampant throughout the land. Many small cities and towns have already been destroyed.
In response to this, the three kingdoms are assembling the finest warriors to form a powerful extermination force against them. The only way they can stand against these creatures is by combining their wit and strength. You are one of these heroes.

This was based off a rp I was in a long time ago. It never really took off to my disappointment but it did generate quite a lot of hype. Hence, I've decided to revive it. This will be a rather large roleplay and I intend to divide players into groups so posting doesn't get halted and to prevent confusion. We will take on these beasts in the divided groups at various locations. For more powerful beasts, we will combine two or more groups together to take it on. So its a sort of 'mission-y'adventure type of thing.

Well this was not what Natto had expected when he first bought «Sword Art Online». He, Natsume Araki, was anticipating fun filled days making new friends and rivals in the first VRMMO of its time. He was supposed to finally wash his hands off his part-time jobs and focus on things that people his age was doing.
As if mocking those innocent dreams, Kayaba sent him alone thousands of other players into chaos with his revelation of his true plans for «Sword Art Online». This was no longer some game. At least for all its players, it was reality. To further emphasize that, Kayaba had even destroyed the façade of everyone’s avatars. Their real faces and forms were exposed. Although unintentionally, this dispersed some of Natto’s stress slightly when cute girls were turned into panicking obese men. The sight was rather amusing.

Was he scared?
It would be a stretch to say he wasn’t but Natto was surprisingly calm. The gravity of situation hadn’t yet fully sunk in.
He pondered over what to do while observing the others in the town square.
There were those who quickly formed parties so they could head out into the fields. There were those who did so alone. Some people were trying to restore order whilst there were those who just broke down and cried. Here and there, people were all doing what they thought was best.
Yet it could only be described as chaos.
The best course of action would be to gain information. While he was confident that he was a fast learner, Natto did die the first time he went against a «Dire Wolf». He considered the actions of the masses rushing onto the fields foolhardy considering what they’ve just heard. That and he could help out some of the despairing players in the meantime.
Just as he was thinking that, an old man shoved him aside whilst screaming for a person named Hanako. Instinctively, Natto reached out and tapped him.
“Ojii-san, by any chance is that the girl you’re looking for?”
Natto pointed at a little girl crying to his far right.

Well it wouldn't be a summary if I added in the other stuff >_>. I do however recommend to people to read through everything properly to understand whats happening because the summary does not involve the conversation topics and other stuffs. This is just to help if you forget past events since there is pretty much an average of 15-17 posts a day...

I made this for people who are completely lost or semi-lost. 51 52 posts have been made and it seems anywhere between 10 minutes to an hour has elapsed since Kayaba has made his announcement.
Current groupings are:
1. Suki, Umichi, Rikata and Aikoto.
2. Lao'Jax, Rey, Ayame.
3. Aero (who is also Lao'Jax's friend(?)), Hanako.
4. Fujiwara, Minako, Asuna, Geist(?). Cuz Geist is nowhere near them.
5. Geist. Who should be alone right now.
6. Lincoln.
7. Cam-cam.
8. Oaky.
9. Dar. He is in Lao'Jax's party but hasn't met up with him yet.
10. Ojiisan.
That is a total of 17 18 characters excluding mine since I haven't posted yet. Apologies to anyone I missed out.
