Isen'roy tch'd in annoyance as Adrian dodged backwards to avoid his blade. The tactician had immediately judged his barrier to be inadequate and reacted accordingly.
As Adrian threw the dagger in front of him, Isen'roy braced himself for an explosion type magic only to have a burst of light blind him. That tricky little... he thought. Immediately understanding the situation, Isen'roy weighed between the various options laid before him. He could attempt a blind shockwave in the general direction Adrian had leapt in, he could run around attempting to dodge attacks until his vision returned or he could... and the list went on.
All of these thought processes occurred in a fraction of a second and Isen'roy decided on his next action.
He stood perfectly still.
Using his sense of sense of sound and smell, he determined where Adrian was and adjust so the sides of his body faced him. He would adjust accordingly even if Adrian attempted to move. The reason was simple, he would remain on the defensive for the next few seconds till his vision returned. By standing sideways, he reduced the hit box available to Adrian. By minimizing the area Adrian could use to target at, he was confident he could parry the attack even without his vision.
