Because It is entirely separate from the reality your plot hole is made to devour.

Subplot energy is a byproduct of plot energy however, once created it has the capabilities of becoming independent. For lack of better words it creates an existance seprate from reality itself. A sub reality if you will. Since the plot whole only devours matter and energy from the reality that plot energy exists in, it cannot devour subplot energy, for it exists in a completely different reality. and ISE Field is what is created when Subplot energy is harnessed and pulled adjacent to what would be the plot reality, this field can be entered and exited freely by anything with a physical make up, however plot energy and any other form of energy other than sub plot energy cannot pass through the field. Basically our characters are not within the same reality that the plot hole exists in, they are adjacent too it.

I paused after coughing at the surprise of my extremely sweet coffee. "Anyways, he is quite the strange on these days, the limiter really did a number on him. All confined to a single conciousness, he has gone quite mad. Anyways, the control panel. I would love too, however that is not how this works. This is a very complex feild and even the slightest disturbance could cause it to collapse and crush us all or burst into multiple other subplot fields.However I could break it into two, leaving our friend over here in one half and us in the other, further propelling us into the control panel. Would that do?"

I smile weakly. "Hey, Zujib. Long time no see." The Plot Hole begins devouring the blue energy, growing larger the more it devours, as it simultaneously spreads out onto the planet itself. Crackling purple lightning appears whenever it hits the blue energy, the only known power that can stop the Plot Hole, albeit temporarily. "You know, I was handling this just fine. I don't need your help." My head's feeling a little airy, and I walk back over to the side. Of all the machines in my room, the only one that isn't broken is the Coffee Maker. Small miracles. "Want a cup of coffee before we all die?"

You are amazed as the energy is completely unaffected by the plot hole. "It would seem, my dear matthijs, and yes a coffee would be nice, That we will not be dieing any time soon. However, we will not be leaving anytime soon either. Yes, Eternity in a bubble with you was not my most desirable of fates, but it is a tad better than whatever awaits me in the after life. I have pissed off one too many gods in my time as you know."

((Explanation: The energy which I am harnessing is known as Independent Sub Plot Energy. Basically Subplot energy is a byproduct of plot energy that is completely untraceable when viewed through plot energy measurement tools. However, when studied through other means it is shown as a faint blue glow. This glow is dependent subplot energy, which feeds off of plot energy in order to survive. This minor form of subplot energy cannot exist without the presence of plot energy, however, in rare cases when all traces of plot energy are eliminated in a single instance A more condensed and powerful version of subplot energy can be formed. (such as universes absorbed by the plot hole) This rare and power independent subplot energy cannot be effected by plot energy in any way. When they are introduced to the same space and said space is mixed an affect akin to mixing oil and water is produced (subplot energy being oil and plot energy being water). This same effect can be mimicked when subplot energy is exposed to the plot hole. Because of Independent Subplot Energy's (ISE) complete independence from the type of energy and matter that The plot hole absorbs The plot hole cannot absorb it. Much like a piece of corn in the humans' digestive track. These Bubbles of ISE can protect anything from the plot hole, however much like the plot hole cannot effect it, it cannot effect the plothole. So it will continue to grow around the area the ISE Field occupies despite the presence of the ISE field.))

"Fuck you." I smile, as I stagger over to the central console, and activate the Overload Sequence. Instantly, the man is locked down, as the Plot Hole begins to expand, absorbing all matter and energy in it's path. The full power of the Plot Hole would be holding the man in this dimension. "You shouldn't have come back, asshole. I hope you enjoy your victory over me. See you in Hell?" I smile, as the crackling purple energy begins to expand, glowing brightly, as the machines linked to the Plot Reactor explode from the overload of energy.

The blue energy surrounding me then expands and envelops all three of us before the plot hole can erase us. We stand unaffected by the plot holes influence within a bubble of this strange, blue energy.

Infront the man responsible for the destruction of most of Odin and Matthijs appears another man. His body radiates a blue energy that is foreign and has unknown properties. He first looks too Matthijs with a disappointed glance. "You have fallen far, Old Friend.." he says without further explanation before turning to the man responsible for Odins' pathetic state.

"To you I give some credit." The Blue man says coyly ".. alas, I will have to be stopping you here. For I cannot allow my greatest rival to fall to scum such as yourself. I will give you but one warning. Retreat or die."
