-Phoebe Intervention-
Phoebe stirred in her sleep, and her dreams were filled with the brightest jewels, most gorgeous men, and extremely generous pay checks. To her, it wasn't dreaming, it was more of a reality. Which is what surprised her when she woke up from her heavy slumber. Quickly, she sat up from the desk she was sleeping on, and blood rushed to her head. Woozily, she placed a hand over her forehead, and gingerly rubbed at the dull ache. Phoebe was awfully confused about her situation. First of all, Phoebe would never just take a nap in the middle of the day for no reason. She had a schedule to keep up after all. But that wasn't want startled her to the most. Phoebe couldn't remember how she got into the class room. In her groggy haze, she remembered arriving at the school in her luxurious limousine, as she always did when she went anywhere. Phoebe could even remember the smoothie she had in her hand when she stepped out of the limo, and into the bright, sunny day. All the fine details seemed clear, but she couldn't remember walking through the gate and into the school.
The subtle noise of chatter finally drove Phoebe out of her weariness. Phoebe arose from the uncomfortable chair, and wobbled a little as she placed her hand on the desk for balance. Everyone in the room seemed to be talking to one another, or still asleep. Did any of them remember what happened? She cocked her head to the side, and muttered to the people around her. "I don't suppose any of you have seen my purse..." She ran a hand through her silky brown hair before sighing. "Did the teacher confiscate it from me again? This wouldn't be the first time." Phoebe rolled her eyes. Definitely the last time... she thought, and her eyes glistened with zeal as a smile creeped along the corner of her face. She looked around the side of her desk, but couldn't find her purse anywhere. It was hard to miss, white with red dots. The dots of course were large rubies mined from the most beautiful ravine in Africa. It upset her slightly that it was absent, but she would find it eventually. Fortunately for her, the pockets of her (surprisingly) modest dress had her make-up, extra jewelry, and cellphone.
