Jesse awoke that morning feeling perfectly fine, if not a bit of fatigue from staying up late fixing his car the previous night. His beloved, yellow Porsche had broken down some time ago, and Jesse figured it had something to do with the engine, but his father refused to let him take it into the shop. Jesse had decided that he could simply drive the Ferrari, but his father wanted to use that one to work, instead of taking the Mercedes Benz like usual. He also refused to let Jesse take any of the other cars; his father always knew how to push his buttons, and his mother was no help on the subject. He had exhausted himself last night, and as he had no idea how to fix the car and didn't want to make the situation worse, he went off to bed with it in the same condition it had been the past couple of days. No matter, Jesse would just call his chauffeur to take him to school. Still, he'd much rather drive himself.

He sat up in his bed and stretched, observing his haphazard appearance in the mirror hanging on the opposite wall. Outside his room he could hear his mother's small voice telling him it was time to get up, then her soft footsteps scurrying away. Jesse couldn't figure whether his estranged mother's behavior was comical or just sad, and he didn't want to think about it. He got out of bed, crossed the large room and entered into his personal bathroom to get washed up. Everything from the ceiling to the floor, to the tub to the toilet, was sparkling clean, as he had expected it. He knew there was a slight possibility that his father would make him clean his own bathroom in addition to all the other things he was forced to do, and his spirits became even lower.

After a nice, long, hot shower, Jesse got dressed into almost identical clothes to those he wore the day before. The only visual difference was that the golden-colored vest was now a blue one. He fixed his collar and combed back his hair from his face, taking note that it was getting a little longer than he liked. When he exited his room, a maid was standing there with his backpack and coat in hand. He smiled at her that smile that always looked pained, though she did not meet his eyes and stared down at her feet. It was like this every morning. There was no difference.

That was until he was seated in the backseat of the chauffeur's very spacious, very elegant, very concealing vehicle. The sickness hit Jesse first with a sharp stab to his stomach, that shocked him so much he bent over forward, clutching it tightly. After a moment, it resided and Jesse figured it was just an ache for having missed dinner last night and breakfast this morning. He relaxed, taking a glance at his chauffeur to see if the man had noticed. Nothing, clueless. Jesse sighed and leaned back in his seat, checking the time on his Galaxy. There was a lot of traffic, but it looked as though they would get to school in time.

Not too long later, Jesse felt another lurch of pain, this time in the back of his head, and he groaned. What was wrong with him? The pain blinded him temporarily, and he felt his temperaure rising to an unbearable degree. The ache in his stomach returned. "Ron, could you roll down the windows for a bit?" he asked his chauffeur. "It's steaming in here." The driver seemed a bit confused at first, but then did as he was told and rolled down the windows.

"Would you like the top open, sir?" he asked.

Jesse shook his head, as he was in too much pain to answer, sweat running down his temple. Did he have a fever? And how did he even get one at this time of year? He was reminded of the time he felt sick after eating the blueberries that man had brought to his house, the one he saw at the facility, but he had trashed them immediately after eating them. Could it be a coincidence, or was Jesse thinking too much about it? Maybe it had nothing to do with the fruit. Maybe there was just something wrong with himself. Groaning inwardly, he simultaneously wiped his sweat with one hand, while holding his stomach with the other hand. "Um, Ron," he began, chuckling awkwardly. "What's the shortest route to the hospital?"
Ehh, sorry guys.

After a couple of longer posts, I become pretty much braindead for awhile >< I'll try to post soon.
Sorry, it's been taken, but I'll let you know if it opens back up.

THREAD CLOSED.
Arranged marriage seems to be taken now, but if you are still interested in the others, PM me. ^^
Bump~
"That's Pen, to you," Penelope replied. Jesse lifted an eyebrow, feeling a smirk cross his face. He covered it quickly by pretending to wipe his nose. That sass. Jesse decided to take note that her full name bothered her, but there was still no way he would call her by that dreaded nickname. What was wrong with 'Penelope' anyway? Sounded pretty nice to him. "Unfortunately, the teacher always pick the worst, lowest-budget outing they can find," she continued, and Jesse didn't find that hard to believe. If his parents did bribe his teachers--as that geek had claimed earlier--it wouldn't be a difficult task. This was definitely not his old school, where everyone just had money to do whatever they wanted with it, even burn it if they chose to. This boring facility "field trip" and the goat farm "field trip" that Penelope mentioned were prime examples of why Jesse felt so out of place here.

"Chill a little Pen, rich-boy's just scaaared is all," Alvira taunted. Jesse gave her an evil side-glance. Scared? What did he have to be scared of? A bunch of rocks? His hazel eyes bore lasers into the back of Alvira's head as the David called for everyone's attention. Crazy girl-he had forgotten she was there. Was she trying to embarrass him in front of Penelope or something? He could've said something back, but chose against it. Besides, a plan was hatching, and not one Jesse was sure he agreed with.

"I know this might sound super childish and stuff, but why don't we break away from the main group and go looking around this rock research place! You never know, we could totally find some cool stuff! Whaddaya say, guys?"

Jesse snorted, crossing his arms. 'Childish' was the right word to describe that great idea. If the teachers found out that they had strayed from the rest of the student body, their parents would surely be called, and his father would beat him like there was no tomorrow. That was if the chaperones decided to search for them in the first place. Jesse figured that Mrs. Fliss would feel perfectly fine with heading on home and forgetting that the group of students ever existed. Then again, did Jesse really want to participate in probably the most boring field trip he had ever agreed to go on? That didn't sound so good either. Penelope was already rushing up the flight of stairs. Perhaps he should go along, just to make sure everyone stays safe and out of trouble.

Taking a quizzical glance at Sam, the 'bad boy' of the school, Jesse followed closely behind him as they ascended the stairs. He felt a bit of dread as he glanced back to see if anyone had spied their escape. The room was clear. There was no one. In the back of his mind, Jesse heard a click and looked back up to see that they were walking through a door that led to a long hallway. Along with the soft scruffle of the group's shoes against the floor, there were tiny metallic sounds in the background, though the hallway was pretty much empty. Machines? What would they be using those for? Something felt wrong. It was too quiet.

Suddenly the rest of the group halted, and Jesse, not paying attention, walked right into Sam, somehow causing them to bump heads, hard. The crack sounded loud inside his mind, a shock of pain trailed down his spine, and he began to feel dizzy. "Christ," Jesse spat under his breath while rubbing the back of his aching head. He sent the other boy an apologetic look, then peeked around him to see what was the hold up. Was someone there? Silently, swiftly, Jesse made his way to the front of the group beside David, peering around the corner. Almost immediately, he had a flashback.

"Mr. Silk, I do thank you for donating to our...cause. Your help really makes it all worth it."

"No problem, it's the least that I can do. Is that for me?"

"Blueberries. I heard your son enjoys them." The man had a chilling smile on his face.

"Oh, for Jesse? Of course. I can't eat those disgusting things anyway. Come here boy, and put these in the fridge." A maid approached Jesse's father, insisting she put the berries away. "No, no, Gloria. These are my son's. I'm trying to teach him some responsibility here. Well, anyway Mr. Polinski, I do hope you use the money wisely. A million dollars isn't cheap."

The creepy man bowed. "Yes, sir. This money will serve us well."

Jesse didn't remember much after that, only that the blueberries tasted foul and made him sick for days.

Back to reality, Jesse blinked as his eyes focused on the very man that had stood at their door that night. Was it really the same person? What was he doing here? Jesse was almost positive that a man such as his father would not spend a million dollars on some rock research. As the group of men disappeared down the hallway, Jesse felt himself becoming even more curious. "Coast is clear," the redhead informed them. The group continued on.

"Reminds me of an Insane Asylum, which is awesoommeee," crazy girl, Alvira, exclaimed after the tension had dissipated.

Surprisingly, Jesse did not have one snarky comment to say. He made a mental note to talk to his father about this once he returned home.
Sorry, I'll get a post up soon.
Oh, look! Typo! ^ That's supposed to say MxM.

Well hello there!

First things first, I like to roleplay on a Casual to High-Casual level, and I would expect the same from my partner. Second, I'm pretty busy nowadays, so don't expect five posts a day. Third, I appreciate input, but don't try to run the roleplay. Let my character be my character. Fourth, the roleplay does not have to include romance! Lastly, I'm not currently interested in MxF, as those roleplays (in my experience) always turn out a bit awkward or uninteresting.

Putting aside all of that boring stuff, let's get to the plots, shall we?

FxF Only

  • ×The Dangerous Life× My character was raised in a poor, rundown city where females have no say. When it comes to the household, the men are in charge. When it comes to a boyfriend, you better please him. My character doesn't want to marry a rich man as her parents suggest, so she rebels and joins a female gang. It is in this very gang that my character meets yours. Her life changes in many ways. Not only can she now taste freedom and feel the excitement of life, but she also learns what she really wants her fate to be. Is it best to escape and live a sheltered life subservient to her husband, or is it best to live the dangerous life with her girls? [Warning: swearing, drugs, violence, etc.]

  • ×Friends Forever× Our characters were once close friends. That was, until we got older and time drifted us apart. One suspiciously normal day, my character shows up to your character's house, requesting a bed for a couple of nights. Though my character seems well enough, if not a bit different than you remembered, can you really trust her? Even when she's running from a life of abuse and a criminal past? [same warnings as above, to a lesser extent]

  • ×Two Mothers× Your character has children of her own, and so does mine. But with a strange turn of circumstances, our very different families have molded into one. With our husbands out of the picture, it's more than a little awkward when our children question as to why they have "two mommies". What can we say to them? What can we say to their teachers and classmates? How can we make our family seem "normal", and do we even want to? [Warning: Cuteness]

MxM Only

  • ×Nowhereville, USA× Our characters have lost many things in life, which is pretty much the only reason why we can even stand each other. Kindred souls, we share a hatred of love, and a love to hate. We are from very different backgrounds, and both of us have different reasons for why we are here. Far from home, we now live in a mobile home in the middle of a small town. There's nothing but dust and heat out here, and we are left with only thoughts, memories, and regrets. Will the strength of each other lift us up, or will the weight of our pasts continue to drag us down? [Warning: swearing, alcohol]

  • ×The Unlikely Couple× We are an unlikely couple, they said. One's short and one's tall, one's outgoing and one's shy, and when it comes to love, we simply don't express it the way other couples do. Not only that, but we haven't met each other's parents? How absurd! We are such an unlikely couple, that we just may not be a couple in the first place. Well, we aren't. We are hitmen, working for one of the largest gangs in the city. We carry out jobs, leaving not a single clue behind, using our money to blend in to the rich society in which we live. As long as we keep up our act, no one will suspect us. Although, when it comes down to it, is it really an act? [Warning: death, awkward moments, partying, comedy]

  • ×The Boy in the Apartment Upstairs× My character has been in love with yours, ever since he saw him move in the very first day. After struggling with his feelings and questioning whether he had the courage to actually meet you face to face, he forces himself to go to your apartment and say hello. All would be well, if he hadn't blurt out all of his feelings and fantasies of you before he could even take a step inside! How will your character react to such a first impression? And how will he escape the clutching love my character has for him? Is it really worth the trouble? Besides, we are neighbors after all. [Warning: puppy love, excessive fanboying]

Basic Plots

  • Teacher×Assistant/Student teacher [MxM]

  • Vampire×Human [FxF]

  • Celebrity×Fan/Regular Person [MxM]

  • Arranged Marriage [FxF]

  • Suicidal×Caretaker [MxM]

  • Nerd/Outcast×Jock/Cheerleader [MxM] [FxF]

  • Beach/Spring Break romance [FxF]

  • Straight Camp [MxM] [FxF]

Any suggestions are welcome, and any questions I will gladly answer! Who's interested?
Yes!!

I've read the books over and over. Can't help but love the characters.
