All that sounds great! Not that I plan to do much fighting. I'm more than fine with whatever level of cultural mixing you like, id imagine it would be heavy on both sides. Your goods would be popular in my territories and I'm sure some goods from the sea would make their way down to you.

(Hint: Nova Roma might make use of some mercenaries from Jajanhart to help take back the Italian Peninsula)

Yea you border Byzantion west of the suez. Another minor city state that is allied by ways of the Aegean pact occupies the other coast. I would assume that there would be cuktural mixing which makes sense. The majority of civilians outside of the city identify as borderline anarchist. They all live pretty much free from government oversight if they don’t live in a city or by the coast

I’m all for cultural mixing and and alliance, I would think we have a good relationship too like a defensive pact type thing. I keep threats from the Suez and North Africa away and you do the same on my southern border. I’m sure your people would know my suez patrols very well

Im all for an alliance, the North Africans west of the Suez are agreeable people. The city states East of the Suez may be difficult, not hostile but just annoying.
