I find this kind of amusing in a way considering how you were harping on people using Skype to keep in contact instead of IRC. The point was that's where the community is, and why Spam's pretty much in zombie form.I'm rolling back my participation in pretty much everything except for long-term RPs myself, so good on you for deciding to focus more time on stuff you feel is important to you, and I say that with utmost sincerity. I personally feel I've kind of outgrown a lot of the humour and group dynamics here and on Skype, so I figure it was time to gracefully bow out without making a scene. I still like most people and am always willing to chat, but I felt it was time to distance myself from the group dynamics as a whole. I'll check in on Spam from time to time, but I've personally found my inspiration for participating lacking something fierce.
Yeah it's the same here. I've been finding myself getting more involved in other, more active, communities.
