This is the old version of Captain Ereso, use this to contrast the old version w/ the new version here.

Character Sheet for Ereso Votun

Name: Ereso Votun of the Silver Fleet
Title: Captain of the A.C Cycladia (a frigate)

Height: 6' 8"

Weight: 150 Lb, metal is heavy! Despite this, his model is that of the leaner builds.

Group: Archimeadian Collective

Age: 5 years old in current post-biological form, about 25 counting the brief span spent being raised by robots and the ten years spent officially dead.

Race: Posthuman (uploaded)

Tier: 4

Appearance: He is a lean silvery cyborg with circular eyes, and segmented arms. The harder parts of his cybernetic body are his chest and waist. His head is a Romanesque helmet (but without the flare), with a digital screen to act as his face. His design is rather minimalist overall, a common aesthetic quirk of the Silver Fleet. His design is very compressible and the limbs are modular, meaning he can swap them out for better limbs on a regular basis and the body too, is modular. Shoot the head.

Personality: A pretty boy, somewhat of a celebrity due to his extremist rhetoric and idyllic belief in universal ascension to exhumanhood He is outgoing in the sense that he is very good at talking to people, but often doesn't listen and is incredibly, incredibly dense due to refusing to believe he is anything but someone who can change the universe. This insane confidence does come with the perks of giving him much charisma. His young age and highly sheltered upbringing by cartoonish machines hasn't helped him see the real world in the slightest and is notoriously prone to altering his own perception of reality, as in he has a augmented reality layer he sees others don't, a common feature among the cyborg class but it is uncommon for it to be so extreme as to completely change the actual way reality looks.

Abilities, Talents, Traits, Powers:

(4)-Modular body; He is high class enough that he has a modular body that has all its parts replacable, just as long as his personality chip is inside it.

(2)-Expert Pilot; The main breadth of his education has been in piloting ships, especially frigates and exojets (which is another way of saying high altitude jets).

(2)-An adept engineer; Erseo is a decent engineer. Not the top of his class, but he knows how to work with drones on the technical level enough to modify them on a regular basis. His four drones are all modified drones given personalities as a result.

(1)-A Straight Shooter; He is best when using a carbine-type weapon, it's what the nursey trained him in most. He is awful with anything else.

(2)-(inherited trait) Enhanced physique; Due to being a posthuman, physical strength and speed are better by default to that of a human thanks to the nanite enhanced armor systems and bionic ocular systems standard to the Archimeadian Collective.

(4)-(inherited trait) Backups; He has back up chips of his mind, though he has no memory of anything after the back up if killed too far from his ship (or killed with his ship that incubates the backup mind) and a backup body is not garunteed.

Items:

(2)-The 1050 "Zipper" Carbine; A semi-automatic guass rifle with high penetration that he uses on a regular basis. The Zipper is notable for its high penetration and low recoil. It has a average sized clip.

(3)-Commlink; A internal linking system to his ship that streams his memories and intel.

(1)-Energy Pistol; A standard backup weapon in the Archimedian collective, he is horrible with it, but still keeps it around anyways.

(3)-Nanotech Repair Capsule; Standard issue nanotech systems, used in case Nanos isn't around or is dead.

(4)-Dionysus drones; A group of five customized drones that keep him company, carrying out reconnaissance. These drones he has made multiple copies of he stores in the frigate, as they get destroyed a lot. These Dionysus drones are tailor made by Ereso to be loyal to their captain when in his prescence, but tend to live very opulent existences for machines whenever not in the captain's prescence due to Ereso's AI programs being based on a stew of programs from the mind shops. This is to emulate human personality.
The four drones are stored on the ship and aren't garunteed to be with him, though he usually has Hovers around as Hovery is Ereso's favorite drone. They play tag a lot.

The drone roster:

Hovers - A hover drone, looks ahead for trouble and is always arguing with Ereso, surprisingly enough Ereso likes Hovers the most of his four drones.

Assault- Assault is a aggressive drone with incredible amounts of bravado, tends to shoot first unless told in advance not to and has rubber bullets to shoot at people who annoy it. Assault also has a plasma thrower for close range slaughter.

Shields - Shields is a modified shield drone that projects a energy barrier in front of it and has nanite cloud auras for repairs. Shields also can project a EMP to ward of the nanites, though with limited charges. Shields is the cringiest of the drones in terms of personality to Ereso, always trying to small talk even when it shouldn't be.

Nanos - Nanos is a modified medical drone that has been shifted towards a specialization in using nanotech with multiple capsules of nanotech for building structures (mainly rope strucutres or structural reapir) and nanomachine filled grenades for destroying them. (nanotech grenades eat through stuff, making them good for structural penetration until they overheat and collapse). Nanos tends to recite its favorite Archimeadian poetry while carrying out its tasks.

Driver - Driver is a vehicular drone that is only allowed out of its garage for exploration purposes. Driver has claustrophobia, so often is shut down in between missions. Driver is very compliant and depressive knowing it dies every time he is put back in the garage, a fact that has yet to lead to a incident. Yet.

History: Like many of the Silver Fleet, just one of the various fleets of the Archimedes Collective famed for their peculiar way of raising children. Votun's mother is a robotic womb machine from a nursery ship within the silver fleet, as per procedure and he had spent his childhood from the second the implants kicked in. Votun's upbringing was initially as a engineer like a large share of Archimeadians, but ended up being a pilot due to proving to be a decent ship pilot time and time again in both training and on the child, specializing in jets and small craft.

Votun as a child always took charge in life, for he believed in the purity of the collective to a sense of loyalty that is practically theocratic and believed that he alone could make the galaxy a better place. His robot caretakers instilled this delusion into him thanks to a glitch that gave one of the nursery AIs too much self-awareness for the task at hand and decided to instill ancient values into him from a bygone era. The authorities were alerted to this, but didn't take action as the Ereso experiment intrigued the authorities enough to see if re-introducing a strong sense of individuality can lead to better children.

While other fleets already have done similar things already, the Silver Fleet has always been known to always be a generation behind. Ereso's development came to a head when he started a argument with one of the authorities and thus was executed, with his personality stored on record for a decade or so before being uncovered. With a decade having passed, the authorities opted to enable Ereso's rebirth into a cyborg body containing his corpse that they left lying around as he wasn't supposed to be dead for a decade to begin with.

It was just meant to be a month but the bureaucrats forgot about him. Ereso, it should be noted, didn't realize that important detail even when one of the AIs that helped him in childhood told this to his face. Ereso just thought that AI was crazy and thought he was brought back because they missed him and that there must be some higher meaning to his life. In a matter of five years, in a relatively sheltered existence Ereso managed to attain the position of captain of his very own vessel and somewhat of a cult following due to his constant rhetoric of bringing exhumanism to the whole universe as being the ultimate goal.

Needless to say, he was a good tool to mobilize the lower classes who keep losing their sense of purpose. Ereso's rapid rise to fame didn't however correlate with his rather meek ranking of just being the captain of a frigate as he lacks any technical qualifications to do rank any higher. Still, Ereso manages to be convinced the future holds greatness for the ascension to heaven all life in the galaxy must have- it'd be selfish to not spread it!
I just figured that this is a higher standard environment than well, where Borulama comes from so stuff is pricier here. 20$ in Saukila could get you a week's worth of food (maybe more if you know how to farm the little critters they like to sell in a alleyway) while here it probably just gets you a day's worth.
The pod fare he mentions is again a rip off as he noticed upfront. Seeing that is evidently working class or poor, Borulama's atteanae vibrate a bit as he thinks of something something, making a weird hum as he tells Starbucks "60 bits just to get around I will say was one of the worst things I came across. And the fee just to dock was insane. Just insane. From where I come from you don't get these prices for everything as you don't need a permit to anything back where I am from."

Borulama, tasting the murky floor of the pod is oddly inspired even as some of the more... icky substances make it a bit nauseus.

Borulama looks back at Starbuck and says "You could just say 'I am a tour guide' even if you are not and no one will care if you just do what you say you will do for we don't demand permits for every little thing. Here everything's a looting from the government seeing prices driven up so much. So I feel sorry for orange headed humans like you who must be cash strapped paying forty bits just to get some food."

Looking out one of the pod windows at some of the advertisements, Borulama than notes "No decent biotech industry to drive down the costs of food for the poor either."

Borulama's eyes blink and his pupils elongate as he peers towards Starbuck as he moves one of his tongue arms towards him with a new offer. "Still, I am not one to be a spendthirft so the most I will move up to is 70 bits for the initiation but will give 150 bits for each link as before. And I'll bump it up to 250 if the link is good for finding the Mogul. Huh, speaking of food as tour guide you know of any good places to get a drink? One that isn't a rip off?"
In which case just assume the conversation that started is happening on the transit.

Surprised he'd want my gun when he already has a gun that blows tanks up. He doesn't seem aware of the biorobe being an actual living thing though. (Not that it is harder to circumvent, but it could lead to weirdness in a pickpocket attempt when you realize that 'pocket' is actually an orifice)
"400 Bits for a day tour? I see they upcharge here too. Things in the galaxy never change, even in over regulated environments like this one. Given the priority is to find someone who knows the Mogul, 400 is a bit much." Borulama. How the hell could this human think it has the quality of service to charge that much for its own personal tour guide services? Who does it think it is a gold member? Come to think of it, where is its seal of quality? Why does it not have its brand with it? Frixion's tour companies must not be competent with their quality control or some such. Maybe worse, this is an employee from some state service! Maybe that explains the ridiculous fee, it's a glorified tax. The Fed is like that.

Maybe not.

For this is less some employee of a company or worse, some monopoly service and more like how the homeless on Saukila in a bad economic time when they start selling their bodies for way more than they are worth. That was at least selling something it knew for certain it would get. That peculiar pricing just comes off as ... weird to it. Still, finding the Mogul is of importance for both the deal and well, the auditor things it now is expected to do alongside this venture. This is both in so many respects. Both a way to spread the soft power of the Network and get new customers for its own company. Yes, that is all this is about. So Borulama decides to give an alternative offer to the orange haired person, perhaps the hair color makes it a bit more trustworthy seeming than it should be. For Borulama has a orange head too. Color transcends species.

So with a bit of sympathy, Borulama gestures one of its tongue filled hands towards the human and gives its own terms and to some extent, to keep this human around longer.

"Since we aren't doing a day tour, how about this instead, 50 bits for initiation fee. Find someone good to help, 150 more bits. Stick around and help find the Mogul, 500 bits extra once we get to the Mogul. I give you options here."
I didn't give you any money. I just asked how much your services were. I know you want to include jace, but I think you may have rushed a step or two ahead.

Only once the money changed hands did Giggles, now Gucci, tactfully start to step around the fact that he didn't know anyone here.

Is this implying that the transaction already occured? Since I wanted to show my character's a bit of a cheapass.

Still, you can make 700 bits instead of 400 if you play your cards right.
@ChickenTeriyaki I am not a GM, but I do know that the general idea is that you must make a character submission in the OOC first before jumping in and that they don't want anything advanced or high in tier as of now.

The human made its expressions as they normally do and appearantly is named Gucci Starbucks. Must have had ancestry in a spaceship pilot family or something. A bit cuaght off guard by the strength of this smaller human, Borulama manages to keep himself in balance as somewhat dirt tasting hand of the human forces him off the bench as the human claims to be a tour guide.

"My name is Borulama" it whirrs, "I am the Auditor of the Network, forget which number of, Auditors come and go."

The auditor pauses for a bit, raising one of its tentacle hands before resuming with a bit of a somber buzz, "That is not important for you to know, what is important is that I seek the Mogul who runs this planet to make a deal with that Mogul to syndicate a reality TV show. You are a tour guide, so you know someone who knows where the mogul is. The mogul is amazingly elusive, for someone who's face you see everywhere."

A holographic advertisement of that very mogul zips by overhead about some new pleasure resort that just opened. After being a bit dazed by the bright distraction, Borulama resumes, "As for cash, I have a bit of that, what price do serve for?"
Added a new species and made the Auditor of the Network.
