Terrifying habits aside, I do have a question.
Do I gotta do something crazy to start roleplaying around here? In the sense of... er... I don't know. Is there some sign up I have to do?
Not really. In most cases you do need to post a character sheet that the game's host approves, which is a process typically simple enough to pick up on by reading first posts on OOCs and existing threads. The above linked guide should hep too. This applies for the vast majority of group roleplay threads mind you. For 1x1 it's about as complicated as 'hello'
From there, it's retention that's the tricky bit

Specify power level. I have too many characters with too wide a disparity of power to say. Some would probably go down in a few normal swings (or just one). Others would yawn and pluck off the infinite ranks of normal people while using the majority of their consciousness to do something else.
