Squall & Trygve
Astera Gathering HallInteractions:
"This festival is Gnarly-cuga!"The Gathering Hall was packed for the festivities. Squall managed to push his way through his fellow hunters, his fellow palico companion, Trygve, hanging off his shoulder as to not get lost or stepped on with how crowded it was. Squall and Trygve arrived to the New World a year prior, looking for new adventures and fearsome monsters to hunt. Most of the work they had done had been the fairly routine of what the Guild had given back in the Old World, though it was more for research purposes then protecting a village from a dangerous monster. It was satisfying work but he iched for something more and hearing of the newest request that had found itself to the main request board, he was all but eager and willing to show his worth. Who knows maybe he could be as good as the legendary Sapphire Star from long time back. Doubtful but one could have lofty ambitious and Squall at times had some pretty lofty ones. Thus why Trygve was his companion, to balance out the ambitious hunter. Where Squall was a man of action, Trygve was more tactical and observant. They had learned to be a good team together even if they butted heads from time to time.
The duo reached the board reading what it said and who to talk to before leaving the crowded gathering hall. While tempting to join the festivities, he didn't want to miss out on his chance on such a rare opportunity.
"Need potions," Trygve stated while they made their way to Dr. Paeris Daelen.
"Yes I know," Squall replied with a slight sigh. He was thankful the palico was methodical but every adventure out was a chore with such a checklist. Of course the one time he didn't listen had him ending up on a cart back to Astera so it was better to listen then to object his companions advice. The sigh however earned a light thump to the back of his head.
"You know I could just leave you hear right," Squall responded, placing the palico down.
"Ha! You be lost without me. Die within ten seconds," Trygve responded while walking back on the ground, now that the crowds were slightly thinner, expertly dodging and weaving between other people's feet with ease.
"Knew I should of got one of those palamutes instead. Less talking back from them," Squall joked, while Trygve swatted his leg as the made their way to a new adventure that was just beginning for them.
