He's a living portal, so it's obvious he's kinda...disconnected...from the world, so it's obvious he knows a lot since he can pretty much be anywhere he wants whenever he wants, and if you've seen, he prefers to observe people and make wisecracks about them rather than actually hurt anyone, so as long as nobody truly pissing him off, he won't have to teleport anyone's legs away! ^-^

James's voice spoke up from nowhere as he once again appeared in a swirling distortion of space, sitting on the floor. "I think someone who is able to use blood magic and not become crippled for life is a bigger freak than someone who is cursed to turn into a little cub, which is adorable, by the way." Of course he recognized it as a curse. As a living portal, he knew many things, seeing as he had to be able to see pretty much everything in order to know where to appear so he doesn't get stuck in a wall.

One of the bottles of whiskey appeared in his hand and he opened it, taking a swig. He then glanced off to the side. "Well seems your contact is here. I should probably get outta here then." He vanished in the same way he appeared, a swirl of distorted space as if he was sucked into a vortex.
