Life after highschool : After the end of a rather dismal phase in her life, Layla gathered the courage to show some of the sculptures she'd done while in high-school to an obscure art dealer, simultaneously collaborating with fellow sculptor Chase Maddox, who was also a childhood friend. In due course, they went on to start 'Maddox & Cohen', an art dealership company that allowed upcoming artists like themselves to showcase their works for free. After the initial struggle, the company gained tremendous popularity in the upper circles of the art-society - a lot of them being generous enough to fund them, and it wasn't long before they began opening additional branches all over the state.
